I've been eyeing these headphones for some time now. Actually i had them with me in January this year but returned them thinking I'd probably like the Sony wh1000xm3. But boy was I wrong. These sound from a different decade altogether. The sonys are a muddied mess with their horrible, overpowering and boomy bass. I'm actually thinking of getting these again but I'm also watching reviews for the Bowers and Wilkins PX7. From what I've learnt from the reviews is that the Bowers have bass but not the rumbly head rattling bass that the Momentum 3 have. I want that in my headphones. Would you recommend that I go for the Momentum? I'd like to know your opinion.

also changing the EQ wont disable the HD bluetooth codex.

Haven't tried the Sony so I can't say, but these have definitely a great sound!
