    planning to get these after 2 faulty pairs of 1000xm3, they had issues with anc and loud static on one ear cup. anything like that from the momentum 3?

    So true! Sony noise cancelling! Bose talking! Sennheiser sound!

  • @_YahiaSayed_
    @_YahiaSayed_ 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    After 2 years, has anything changed? I heard that the noise cancelling got much better? I have Bose 700 and want to buy these for more bass and completely different design. I’ve heard that the sliding mechanism becomes loose after months so they automatically slide down when being worn, is this true? Thanks so much!

    I agree with the fuzzy sound of the Sony’s. However you have to try the Bose 700. Sounds more neutral and just as clean as the momentum 3’s but with just as good ANC as the Sony’s and the best call quality of any wireless headphone.

    I was to buy the Audio Technica M50XBT2 and the Sennheiser momentum 3 headphones, but after watching your review of the momentum cans I am slightly confused. Any suggestions?

    nice review of the headphones and comparison between 2 models. I like your honesty there.
    Do you notice any sound quality difference between using these in wired and wireless mode?

    • @RayceManyon00
      @RayceManyon00 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Short answer is, there is no difference in sound. The long answer is, there is no difference in sound because the headphones turn on when you unfold them and are using the amp with your saved eq settings (which are stored in the headphones) when you listen to them wired. It's kind of weird.

    Your video told me exactly what I was wanting to hear...the SOUND. It’s all about the hi-fidelity for me. I was very ill last fall and I was admiring the B&O h89. They are, I’m ashamed to admit sold me on reputation and they are beautiful to look at. My daughter surprised me and bought them for me as a get well token. They did help me on my recovery. I was using the Bose 1st generation of wireless, the only wireless available. But I’ve been eyeing the Momentum 3 and I have a pair in transit to arrive in a few days. The h9s have a good sound but lacking in brightness. Bose has WAY too much bass! I have Grado RS 2 and love the clarity, but the bass is just not up to the job and but the ear pads are very fatiguing after a few minutes.

    • @Dovndyr13
      @Dovndyr13 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dont know where you live, the M3's are great, but have you tried the B&O h95's? I know their price is the double of the M3's - but soundwise they should be better. So if you have a B&O centre near you maybe try to listen to them.

    • @benjaminhunt8307
      @benjaminhunt8307 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I had considered B&O h95, but after having so much trouble with both the H9i and h9 that I’m hesitant to invest $800 because I really can’t have faith in their wireless headphones. Their speaker systems are beautiful but seem to still be in the luxury category.

    • @Dovndyr13
      @Dovndyr13 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@benjaminhunt8307 i agree B&O is Luxury. The price vs what you get sometimes does not compare. So B&O H9 compared to Sennheiser M3 i think the M3's win. But there is a big diff between H9 and H95 in sound quality

      All Tech Together I tested it today at my local dealer/store the headphones have a little background noise. I think it is just the amplifier. It is just a very small noise and with background noise in the environment you can’t really hear it.

    Bose 700 is king of NC

  • @nanexozex
    @nanexozex 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Comparing w/ the Sony-XM3 and Bose 700
    Build quality / 9.7
    Sound quality / 8.6
    ANC / 7.9
    App / 4.5
    Battery life / 8.0
    Carrying case / - 3.0 (for the price, a poor and dull pouch)
    Bass quality / 7.8 (so if you like a clear and deep Bass forget it, you’ll ve disappointed. Yes you can fix this w the app equ, but if you put in high level and put the volume up the sound will come w distortion which is very annoying)
    Connectivity / 8.5 (even u can connect 2 devices, still have to re connect on the Bluetooth list once u change to the another device)
    GENERAL / Kinda disappointed, because I replaced my broken Sony-XM3 for this ones because the build quality and the non very HONEST TH-cam reviews, and returned after 4 days. I wish the Sony Wh1000 XM3 had the same build quality as this Sennheiser.
    ALSO there’s a lot of complaints about a sound interference when ANC is on which is very very annoying . Every time you change the volume or play next song this CRACKLING sound interference comes to the left side. I really tried to ignore this but is just sooo hard to ignore if you’re an audiophile.
