Hey Randy. Hope you realize, that amongst the youtube audio reviewing community, you're already at the top in terms of your entertainment value. Nobody even comes close, IMO. You have real comedic chops and camera presence that can't be taught. Those skills could easily transfer elsewhere but glad you're putting them to use in the audio world.

My favourite ever cheap audio purchase is my $20 Sennheiser HD201s I use to listen to music while working. Six years in, the earpads are beat up, but they're comfortable, and the sound is fine. Love these things.

I bought these a couple of months ago. Ended up boosting the mids and softening the bass on the equalizer settings. Perhaps I would have been good with the Pandas, but hey, if the equalizer is there, use it! And now they're perfect for me. I really like these.
Nice review - but my experience is different. Got a pair of these last month but they were too veiled for me - trouble with the mids! I then got some Sennheiser CX 400BT (£99) earbuds...so much better - just a little EQ in the app and they are great. No fancy stuff, but just great sound!!
It doesn't seem to be widely known that the Momentum 3's can be powered off without folding them up. Hold down the "play/pause" button for 5 seconds or so. You will hear "Power Off" as confirmation. To power back on, you will need to fold up the headphones and then open them back up. Works great and useful for those that want to put these on a regular stand.
Great review, like always. Entertaining too. 👍 If you can get you hands on Phillips Fidelio L3, I would appreciate your opinion on how they compare to Momentum 3.
Watching and listening to this on my Sennheiser PXC 550-11 Bluetooth, noise cancelling headphones. I love them. I love your videos and I like your play lists. I, like you, am a metalhead, Judas Priest being my favourite band. However, I've been playing lots of other genres recently including Tracy Chapman, Alannis Morissette etc. Can I therefore suggest an artist whom you've maybe not considered to listen to for sound quality? I've been amazed by Madonna's Immaculate Collection album. From the first track which is Holiday, the sound, as you describe, is like a drunken sailor on leave. The sound stage is all over the place it's quite incredible. Please give it a try and let me know what you think. Also have you listened to Flight of the Cosmic Hippo by Bella Fleck and the Flecktones? Its one of Ron from New Record Day's favourites and is a bass monster. Cheers from Scotland. I figured they'd pair nicely with the Klipsch 12 inch sub I've got coming in, and they'll be powered by my first tube amp. Rockville Blutube SG. Do you think I might need a DAC, or should the amp take care of that? Thanks again, and love the content. Oh, also I've been comparing Amazon hd with Tidal. I used your link, but I'm leaning toward Tidal.

Hey Randy....should do a review of the Drop THX Panda’s. Not cheap at like $400..but they sound awesome. You can get deals on the internet if you look. I got mine for $299. Built in DAC and thx..no sound canceling however, they fit so well you don’t need it. Just a suggestion.😎
Hi Randy, just for fun, if you have the chance, plug the wire of the M3 into a Sparrow, Onyx or Hidizs (even your desktop DAC if you want) and set ANC off to transparency mode... Let us know ;)
Any suggestions on tuning the Momentum 2? Unfortunately, the 3 was not out yet when I was on the quest for good Bluetooth over the ear headsets. I don't have much to compare my Momentums to, so I really don't know what is or was out there at the time because I couldn't try before I buy. Anyway, I think they are great so far as I was coming from Sennheiser 535 wired and the next one up from that # which was wired as well. Any experience with either of those? I guess I'm Sennheiser biased as each set has lasted a long time as compared to other older model brands so I just went with the familiar brand and sound. Your thoughts? Anyone?
Sometime when you don't feel like doing an equipment review, could you please do a show about the rules/protocols for selling equipment online? I've got some stuff I don't use any more, but selling online just feels like walking into a minefield of stuff that can go wrong (how do you trust anyone on Ebay?). What (besides paranoia) do you need to address to have a decent buying/selling experience online when you're just starting out?
just use paypal with buyer protection (otherwise known as goods and services instead of friends and family, this is automatic on ebay), nothing else will really save you if something happens. Scammers will insist on "not being able to use paypal goods and services" or whatever, just ignore them and sell to someone else.

They have an amazing sound stage, decent imaging and a deep full sound with good clarity.The big ass drivers can handle the juice to near reference level before falling off at all.There are way better out there for sure but for $300 When they were new , not too shabby. Ear cups are very soft and comfortable. The only negative I felt was that they are too “ plastic-e”. They are fairly tough though, dropped them a few times without issues. I don’t use them too often because I’ll end up cranking them up and making my ears soar . 😩 Thanks for the review bro!🤟
