Pacific Northwest and Subaru's is where is at. Glad to hear you are enjoying the exhaust as much as I do. Even my wife likes the sound of this one. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. Have fun with your new VB.👍
Thats awesome man. I am still loving how this exhaust sounds. Not loud at all while cruising and no drone. Super light and makes an awesome exhaust tone. Congrats on your 06 WRX and thanks for watching.
That sounds great. I like how quiet it is when cruising, as well.. Just need a bumper that suits the single exit more, now. I've always thought the empty space look's weird but if something gets figured out, that will look incredible.
Those are the best looking pie cuts I've ever seen. Besides having nice clean smooth welds, the other thing is that each section is very short. So it approximates a smooth curve very close. The airflow doesn't have to go chunk-a-chunk-a-chunk around each "bend". Sound is proper!
Sounds perfect! Are you sure there’s no drone or annoying resonance? Even with the windows open? Man the stock exhaust makes my head feel like it’s going to implode when I drive with the windows open (at low speeds). Also, I heard this is the exact same exhaust as the JDMuscle, meaning built in the same factory but just has a different branding. Any idea if that’s true? Thanks!
To me it looks to be the same exhaust for JDM Muscle, Aeroflow Dynamics and Noble. Its made in Taiwan and rebranded to what ever company here is the USA places an order. Quality is top notch. No drone and my wife gives her stamp of approval for date nights in my car now.
isn't Noble Performance the in-house brand for Import Image Racing (IIR)? Much like OLM (Outside Line Motoring) seems to be for Subispeed; Noble Performance is the "plain packaging" non-brand name part sold through IIR. Curious to who actually makes the various Noble Performance gear...
Thanks Chuck, that titanium does have make a sweet sounding exhaust note. I picked up the t shirt from my Subaru Dealership in Puyallup, they sell all the cool Subaru shirts in there. Thanks for watching some more of my videos.
Your timing is great! My Invidia single exit is coming this weekend and your install vids are so well done. That Ti looks and sounds so good. I’m glad you get a bit of that boxer rumble. It’s part of the reason I got a single exit. Any ideas for blocking off the other side? I’m considering 3D printing a plate.
Awesome you have yourself an Invidia single exhaust coming. That should sound pretty awesome! Glad to hear you enjoy the content. Not sure what I will do with the other side empty exhaust hole. Honestly it doesn't really bother me. Let me know what you figure out for your.🤔
No drone sound at all. You can hear it when your on the freeway, but because it is titanium the tone of the exhaust seem to be a higher frequency. I love how it sounds. Should I do a quick 2 minute freeway drive video to show you guys how it sounds?
@@JDMRightHandDrive yes please. I daily drive mine and i drive about 30 minutes of highway one way. So I’m trying to find an exhaust that doesn’t drone at 70mph
Still holding up perfectly just like when I first installed it. Great quality and reliability so far. I really like the new Tomei single exit exhaust system that was just released. Thanks for watching.
@@JDMRightHandDrive ... cheers. despite not being a real fan of single exits, I still find myself looking at them. Maybe because the AWE Touring system hasn't satisfied my expectations, even after 4.5 years... m
I am less than 2 months out from buying a new 2023 wrx. I plan to get this exhaust and am toying with pairing it with an RAE intermediate pipe. I need more info on that part though because I do not want to be throwing codes or having any issues. I also want to be sure that I still have at least 1 CAT so that I am not being a total ass to the environment. Also need to figure out if the intermediate pipe will cause any other things to burn out early...but after hearing it, I am sold on it assuming it isnt a big headache down the road. Thoughts on that?
I am not sure about the Rae Motorsports intermediate pipe. But, I know Perrin Performance is about to be release one. I spoke with Jeff Perrin personally about this new pipe. It will not throw any check engine lights or codes. I will be installing this very soon on my car and launching this product to the Subaru VB market with Perrin. Thanks for watching and stay tuned.
Could you provide a long term opinion of this exhaust. I had the sti exhaust and after 1k miles it got really bad drone. I like this echaust but am worried about the drone.
I dont think this has any drone at all. My ETS exhaust had bad drone issues to where my wife refused to ride in my car. My wife likes the sound of the Noble titanium exhaust and she does not mind riding in my car now.
@JDMRightHandDrive awesome glad to hear. I liked my sti exhaust then it broke in and became unbearable with the family in the car. This noble will be on my list now. Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it
Definitely agree with you both. The looks of quad tips far superior, but the weight savings and sounds from this are almost perfect. I'll have to switch to a titanium system down the road, but for now I'll stick with the ETS system I ordered no muffler / yes resonator.
That is correct The stock exhaust is pretty heavy. The AWE exhaust was even heavier at around 50 pounds. At just under 12 pounds, the Noble titanium is where its at for sure.
Loosen the muffler clamp and loosen both exhaust clamps holding the exhaust sections together. Adjust the rear section so it has enough space by the subframe and retighten everything. I had the same issue at first. After adjusting I had about 10mm of clearance and no more rattle
The ETS in my opinion had a deeper exhaust note, which to me became annoying to live with driving an hour each way back and forth to work everyday. The Noble exhaust has a higher pitch from the way the exhaust resonates through the titanium. You definitely hear it, but it not as loud as the ETS was, plus it does not have the deep annoying drone effect. I am still liking it after its been on my car for a month now. Thanks for watching.
@@JDMRightHandDrive I'll have to look into this one. Im running the ETS Muffled Quad on a resonated Remark Mid (was cheaper than ETS) and it's still a little loud and some drone for me doesn't help Im old now haha 😂
Curious to why you installed the ets 11 months ago but are now running this noble single exit? and in this video youve got the stock mufflers in, what gives?
Well to be honest I had the ETS, but AWE reached out to me and asked me to review their exhaust on my channel and they would send me a free exhaust system. It showed up with tons of issues and scratches, mufflers did not match. I refused to review and recommend the exhaust on my channel and told AWE I would be brutally honest and point out all their flaws. I shipped it back to them and never received a replacement. I bought the noble titanium with my own money. It sounds way better than the ETS.
@@JDMRightHandDrive Wow, I thought awe was a premier exhaust for the vb? I guess not, that's good to know. Props to you for being honest and not just in it for the free parts. I Respect that.
There was no tq specs in the box. I just tightened it by feel to what I thought was appropriate. Keep in mind the hardware is small, dont want to overtighten it and risk it breaking during heat cycles and the exhaust flexing while driving. Next time I am under the car, I am going to use a step drill on the oem J pipe and use the thicker bolt hardware that came inside the Noble exhaust. You can torque that one down much tighter and get a more effective seal on the multi layer gasket. I didn't think of this until I had already finished the install. I love the exhaust though, it sounds awesome. Thanks for watching.
@@JDMRightHandDrive just installed it without the adapter, no leaks at all. Sounds great. But had to make sure the donut gasket sat as flush and even as possible to the flange to make sure it doesn’t leak. Thanks again!
You need to make sure you have enough clearance around the rear subframe area and the exhaust piping. I gave myself about 10mm and then tightened down all the exhaust clamps and rear muffler bracket.
Thanks again for recommending this one. I love the sound of the single exit titanium. You guys video sold me because you can hear a little bit of what sounds like a boxer rumble. After installing it I would agree. I know the VB WRX has an equal length header, however the single exit 3" titanium can produce what sounds like a little tease of a boxer rumble.
