Imagine learning this as a 23 year old. I have to do this every Friday in my taekwondo class, and it's embarrassing as hell cuz the rope keeps hitting my neck or I trip on it. Life is about pushing through the embarrassment and improving yourself though. I started taekwondo at 21, and that was embarrassing too, but I'm pretty decent at it now - except for the jump rope workout.
I'm trying to jump rope a few days a week and keep running into a mystery issue. You're the first I've seen to talk to me like I'm 5 and tell me to match my hand movements to my jumps. Thank you now maybe I can be relieved of watching so many jump rope videos 💁♀️

Yes! I ordered a jump rope as a fun form of exercise, and when I first got it I could barely do 1 jump too haha! Now I can make it to about 10 depending on my energy!

I was doing it correctly, but after 3 days of jumping rope for 300-500 turns each day, my back thigh muscles cramped, and my right knee gave out. Now, I’m taking a break from jump rope. I shouldn’t have pushed myself hard considering I haven’t jumped rope in a long time, but I was so enjoying it so much more than running that it didn’t feel like I was pushing it. I guess my mind and body say different things. I am going to strengthen my knee and thighs so that I can go back to jumping again.

I was jumping 240 times divided into 60 jumps at a round but end up gasping and can't pass 240 jumps but I think it could be increased by training
