It's definitely a fun workout that kills your whole body. But it does take time and patience. I suggest any one starting start with a beaded rope. And jump for maybe 5min a day for may be 3 days a week till your body gets use to it to avoid injuries. Cause it is killer.

That was Literally Awesome ! I use to jump rope for fitness, a regular rope, found a heavy 1 inch rope around, then got a steel rope, rode a mountain bike, in the hills for an hour or so, made a pull up bar, I had a few free weights, l was never in better shape, I Loved that jumping rope, it was simple, fun to Miss Tory has inspired me to start again, I Thouroghly enjoyed watching the Level of Excellence of that Young Woman

I saw her covered on my local television couple of days ago and now YT recommended me this video. She must have a really strong femur and fibula bones, considering rope skipping despite simple, is a high impact sport with plenty of repetitions. I heard sometimes she spent 10 hours jumping ropes in a day, I might misheard it but even lesser that's hardcore!
