    Rockshox coil superdeluxe ultimate 23 is compatible with turbo levo, there's a thread about it over on emtbforums where they (rockshox) first say that the steel shaft version of that coil is needed for Levos but then changes it to basically all their model year 23 ultimate coils work on Tlevos
    I've personally ran a 23 210x55 ultimate coil without any issues and now running a 23 230x65mm ultimate coil (which is batshit fantastic BTW) on my Tlevo without any issues and ride pretty aggressively.

      That’s in my spread sheet 😉 . with official information from RS. except 230x65 is the problem shock due to length. I wouldn’t risk it with non steel shaft.

    I concur, EXT ftw. Im living w two, storia v3 on my Dreadnought and an e-storia on my 2022 Turbo Levo w a Cascade Long stroke link. Longer stroke amplify shock yoke stress but EXT confirmed back in Nov 2022, their coil shocks will be fine, esp e-storia. I can confirm, I never had an issue since. In April 2023 I upgraded to the new cascade long stroke link where the lower link arms are connected eliminating side play. I've never had an issue w EXT. And they perform really well.

    If you're stuck with a yoke bike like a Spech and curious about Formula suspension, they have recently launched a "yoke compatible" version of the MOD.
    It appears physically identical, and Formula won't actually say what makes it yoke compatible, but at least you'll still have a warranty when it inevitably snaps.

    • @OtterMTBtech
      @OtterMTBtech  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I haven’t seen them for sale

    • @gpearce11
      @gpearce11 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @OtterMTBtech It is a fairly recent addition, seeing as I can still recall the Pinkbike press release, so I wouldn't be surprised if all used ones on the market are the "standard" model.
      Also, the only sign on the website is a single line on the Formula site product page, so it's unclear if it's actually available as a separate model, or just that you can pick if you order through Formula specifically.
      Why Formula didn't just update the MOD so they're all yoke compatible and save us from this confusion I'll never know.

    Interesting enough - In Norway and Sweden Push is by far the most expensive shock...BY FAR!
    On a second place we have the TTX22m.2,
    On a tied third we have FOX and EXT - but you get 2 springs and a custom tune on the EXT so I'd say the FOX is actually more expensive than EXT.

    I wonder the rate of suspension failures on yoke and trunnion bikes vs the rest. Side loading issue never crossed my mind until watching Vorsprungs videos. Honestly, I’d rather just get a different bike over a brand that not all manufacturers products are compatible with.

    WOW... I will not take the amount of time that you have obviously made in gathering the info about both product quality and customer service.
    I just bought the EXT V4 STORIA for my steed... and was considering a fork upgrade to the 2024 Fox Factory 36 in limited gold. But after your review about their customer service... and what minor times that I have needed to get in touch with them... I think I will go with a different brand. Either EXT (just to match)... or with a brand that has the BEST tech...

      Any air shock is fine, coils are a-little sketchy on the bike, but you just need to have a good serviced shock and steel stanchion. 4 years on the Kenevo no bike upgrade needed.
      The bike was made around a coil, it rides better and the sun tour coil is cheap and works great
