@6:29 you can see the indicated speed suddenly showing 287 km/h when car jumps a bit, and wheels spin for a split second or millisecond..what a machine! They better all have loud colour schemes to be visible to other cars when they approach them so much faster.

Yep, I got that at 6-31, IT actually skips a little, then you can hear the tyres spin n skid as it re grips the surface, Insane, good pic up😊

Rear engine cars in an uphill tend to be very understeery so he needs to be a bit harsher there in order to make it rotate more.

I watched it twice, the first time i focused on how amazing the pilot was doing. the second time i focused on Misha's eyes every corner checking the speed xD.

I compared the GT2 RS MR lap from with this lap. The new GT3 RS is up to 15kmh faster in high speed corners , in normal corners up to 7kmh. Very impressive work from the aerodynamic ingeneers and designers and mindblowing lap from Christoph!
The last guy you guys overtook on the lap was going fast AF , and Cristoph goes past him like it was nothing... Just another day at the office! Impressive AF!!!
It's kind of surprising to see just how quickly the outside tire temp changes when going through turns, front tires during braking, and rear tires on throttle. Really cool camera angle!

The brakes are what impressed me most! The way that things stops is unreal. There were moments I thought there's no ways he makes the apex but the car just throws out the anchor and stops!

That section when he overtakes the Cayman at 8:37, the corner at 9:09 in particular, as far as he was playing it safe, he drove there I would say at 10/10 capacity of the car and it's probably one of the most beautiful corners that I have ever seen recorded from the Nord.

Wow... an absolutely perfect ring tool. Porsche builds, in my opinion, the best sports cars. Sure there are faster, few but they do exist apparently, but none manages to inspire me again and again as these vehicles. An absolute privilege to call such a vehicle his own. How precise the turn-in works, the cornering speed just under full load at the exit of the curve. There is no tire squeal, no noise and nothing... A vehicle that in the right hands, the dance is on a knife edge. I'm sure that 90% of the drivers of a normal car, this car would throw away in the corner and slam directly into the gang.

I have never seen any street legal car going faster than around 80 kph in the Karussel. And this beauty is as fast in there as an actual GT3 race car. That's just one moment that surprised me!

Super interesting video to watch. Here's my unexperienced two cents between the RS and 3MR. I'm not entirely "sold" on active aero for two reasons. First, @ 5:03 going through Tiergarten, the "DRS" is being activated multiple times (look at the wing), something I find uneasy that the car is changing its downforce several times, and therefore changing the characteristics and feel of the car ( I have no idea if it is noticeable in person). Same @ 9:55 , and while the aero is deactivating and technically activating milliseconds before the turn in of the car, it is uneasy going into the corner and not having that set level of downforce and then it de-activating...something quite difficult to predict if you don't know the car inside and out. The second reasons is reliability. While I love Porsche, technology is technology. There is a video of an SVJ that had its "DRS" malfunction coming to a hard brake in a straight line and the entire car gets sideways and massively unsettled. While many things can go wrong with your car driving on a track, I'd feel most comfortable having the same predictability of downforce at all times especially pushing the speeds this car is capable of...Again, while I have no experience or knowledge and if it is even noticeable in driver feel with DRS being constantly toggled, something in me says the 3MR or the 3RS with DRS toggled off entirely would be the best, and even then, your relying on the computer to not radically change the downforce and predicability of the car. I think that is the most impressive lap i have seen on your channel, other than record attemps. 90-100 through carrusel?! I don't even think racecars can do that. The corner speeds are really impressive and the turn-in. It looks like it's going too fast to make the corners, but nope, it's fine - crazy. That car is scary fast.

@@richardharrold9736 Probably the same sort of thing they have done to previous models: Coilovers, small improvements in aero, brake upgrades, etc
@@joehumphreys8596 improvements in aero to what is already basically a full fat GT1 race car with number plates? The existing suspension, chassis and brakes are already so well designed and set up to go with the aero package that I don't see there being room for any improvement except in the engine bay.

Great drive in what is clearly a fantastic Porche, that aero package😲. He flew around that late uphill left at at over 120 and had the power on as he was cresting the apex.🤯

10:00 - You can get an idea of what level this guy is at when the car slightly loses traction and he reacts instinctively but doesn't change facial expression. Just controls the car like he's walking in the park. Unreal! 😮 He's so good he looks like he's bored and about to fall asleep. LOL
Normally on videos you can tell when it looks decently fast, that looked VERY fast on camera. Your eyes kept getting huge when you looked over and realized just how fast it was. I'm sure you had the same thoughts in the car as I did watching "What, he isn't braking" and "He can not take that flat out". Must have been one heck of a ride. When the MR package is ready for that thing, doing a side by side video compare would be awesome just to see how much more speed the MR can carry.
