AMG took the 4 door record and then Porsche took it back with the updated Panamera. Now they obliterated the overall record with the Project One on a damp track. They are going back & forth
I love her facial expressions during the run. You can tell that she's ridden fast on the NRing but it still surprises her how capable and sometimes, scary the car could be at the limit. Cheers!
Well its build for that and got tested right out of factory when they developed it. So it should be no problem. The Testdrivers are much harder to the car than misha.
These cars are made like a swiss watch' perfect manufactured and assembled and handmade piece by piece. No need for break in period, all mechanical parts are in perfect tolerances and machined in state of the art cnc's.
That "come on, move !" from Megi was clearly an indication for me that she wants you to drive fast and doesn't want to be unnecessarily hold back by inattentive drivers. Loved the video as always !

Misha I have the feeling that the higher seating position gives you a greater view ahead and by that gives you more confidence to attack the corner. I haven't ever seen an lap of you so accurate and yet relaxed before. The handling is crazy.
From personal experience a higher seating position makes me less confident pushing a car to the limits usually. Especially when you know the weight is a little higher than usual as well. I'd assume hes not trying to push the car here, thats a chill lap by his standarts haha

It is useful to learn that 100kmh is 62mph and then 160 is 100, 200 is 125, 250 is 155, 300 is 186. So after some time, whatever speedo you are seeing you have a perspective how fast it is :D

Kubica taking this to 9.5/10ths would be a fun video. It would put a lot of modern sports and older super cars to shame. 14:00 to 14:20 flat to the floor is incredible in an SUV, you can't do that stretch without well tuned damping even in sports cars. Great drive Misha!

Wife has a 2012 Cayenne Hybrid, and we've been VERY impressed with the handling of it. You forget that you're driving an SUV cause of the suspension and pwr they have.
On the edge of my seat watching the whole thing, loved how calm you remained, and I even held my breath a couple times when passing the cars - but every turn got better than the last.
What an absolute Rocket, everything about it, the way it effortlessly soaks up whatever you throw at it is remarkable. Megi-cam is a great addition to your channel Misha. Awesome content
I keep coming back to this video again and again.. You guys have so much fun it's contagious. Misha, you should go to Porsche and ask for your commission. This video has sold more GT Turbo's than any other marketing campaign thinkable. This is the first car I'll buy when I become wealthy.
For perspective, Misha was the fastest on track at that time in a SUV. Usually you see a track focused GT3RS or BMW on a push lap but nothing. The CGT 😉 is a beast.
Beast? No. The RSQ8 is barely 3 seconds behind and less than half the price. I think that with rear wheel steer and 600hp most SUVs can hit this mark. I think the RSQ8 is the real tech marvel.
@@osmiumtank Its the same car as the rsq8, more or less....and its about 5, maybe 6 seconds faster in the same conditions. The last few ounces of speed is always gonna cost you, thats how it always is. Even though I certainly wouldnt buy it compared to a normal Cayenne turbo. And no, "Most SUVs" certainly cant do the same from factory, even with a power increase. Take a look at the higher powered jeep trackhawk or Tesla Model X for example. "Some SUVs" would be more correct.
Just how much confidence do u have driving among trafic and bikes especially. It's a great skill and lots of practice. And that is what make me admired while watching your videos

I am just so impressed with How Misha can just talk normally while doing all this crazy driving, I speak once in my simulator and I'm spinning out🤣

I remember my homie bought a Volkswagen touareg v8 man that was the best vehicle i ever drove even in the desert he was going 75mph+ on a bumpy road and it felt like we were still on clouds i know Volkswagen owns Porsche, but man this video was amazing!
