You are not stupid. People need to stop bullying. You’re smart reusing and being frugal. Also it may not be easy finding a sink that fits in a camper.

To help protect your hard work you can use an automotive wax after the paint has cured. An added bonus is water slides right off and takes any soap residue with it so the sink stays cleaner longer.

It makes me so sad that throughout the video you had to be so hard on yourself and second-guessed everything you've done. I saw the hate on the bathroom video (which is INSANE it's literally a bathtub people need to calm down) and I just wanted to say that the sink looks amazing and is much more practical. It really isn't going to be used a ton so there is no point in buying a new one, the cost and extra weight just don't make sense. The final product looks lovely and fits the aesthetic of your camper so much more and I hope you don't let the haters get you down!!!

So grateful for this video! Our house is from the 80‘s and we have a beautifully shaped sink in the guest bathroom - but it has those ugly red stripes on it (the whole guest bathroom was decorated in red...) and I always thought about painting it all white but never had the guts to do it! Now I feel encouraged! Great video Em, as always 💛

A perfect solution would be a little collapsible silicone dishpan for washing dishes. It can sit inside the sink or even be taken outside to the picnic table for dishwashing. Takes up very little space.

I've been watching a ton of follow up videos on painted sinks and tubs and learned that people are finding the paint very durable and new looking after a year of regular household family use. I think they are making products so much better then in the past. Also, it isn't a big deal to repaint every year and half for a kitchen sink if it needs. New member here and love your channel! I noticed something though. ALL channels have pretty bad trolls. Even well known experts! Don't take any of it personally because I think some people are just wired to criticize. Theres always a hundred people who love you to one hater. Seems the norm. I'm so glad you are trying things because I'm learning so much from you!

Stop listening to negative people. Who cares if it’s a temporary fix. I don’t care if it’s a temporary fix for $1 million house if that’s what you wanna do then you should feel free to do it. If somebody wants you to have a brand new sink then They should buy it for you!! These DIY projects are awesome and not everybody can afford brand new UPDATED things for their homes. I appreciate people like you giving ideas and sharing economical alternatives to modernizing our homes without spending an arm and a leg. Keep doing what you do and whoever doesn’t like it they should feel free to take their middle finger and keep scrolling! We are not professional contractors and quite frankly some of the diy projects I’ve done in my homes a contractor wouldn’t know the difference

Speaking from experience: don't let the negative voice in and practice every day to not talk down to yourself.💕 Be confident in who you are and don't worry about the haters. The public's opinion doesn't dictate who you are as a person. People can be vile and determined to bring someone else down with them. Don't allow the "trolls" to even put a dent in your day. You're a beautiful person with great ideas and you should continue to share them. People who judge others so harshly, do so because they are unhappy. So every time you see or hear a crude judgement... Remember that they are truly the ones who are unhappy.
Painting your sink for a temporary fix is absolutely a great idea. Freshen up what you have until you have the means to replace it. That's upcycling, refurbishing, recycling, restoring... Those are all positive things. God bless🙏💐

A little collapsible silicone dish pan would be perfect, Amazon has several that would fit. Looks good, but I don’t think it would last very long.
I wonder if a person would proxy over the top of the white once it’s dry.
The Apoxsee would seal it and protect it and it would be very durable and last a long time.
I don’t know but it’s a thought. Kind of like those Apoxsee counters are very durable and last a long time.🤷‍♂️

I haven't finished watching yet but want to stay, it doesn't matter if it doesn't last if YOU are willing to risk it and prepare it as best you can. It's your damn sink! I am going to try this too as I don't want to spend more money on a new sink right now, but even if it only lasts six months it's better than what I have now and it'll allow me to save up while not having to look at a fugly ass sink at the same time. It's good to know it may not last, and that's all. Ok I'm gonna stop rambling and finish the rest of your video...oh and sub!
