I don't understand bringing up the diversity question...maybe it is in later seasons, but I thought considering the historical context, there was quite a diverse cast...her Korean friend, the Vietnamese agent, her African-American lover. You do not see often on American TV a black man with a white woman and that stood out, pleasantly, to me. You cannot insist on imposing our current cultural norms on a depiction of the past if it wasn't realistic in those days.
Who wrote the line about a bachelor outing to Montreal?Her leather jacket is post nineties (I have a leather jacket from the eighties ~ from Italy... I loved the story lines (it's What the Flicks?!) who complain about the clothing. Will they use the Challenger explosion? Will AIDS be mentioned? Will Paige go to the Prom, and will Pastor Tim come out of the Closet as a KGB Agent? Will their son ever crack a bottle over another head, and will it end with Paige dancing on the Berlin Wall, Elizabeth at a Trump rally chanting "BUILD THAT WALL!"
