Thanks for making one of the most 'depressing' shows in the history of TV! That show is just DOOM and GLOOM. Full of lies, deception, murder, assault, sadness, betrayal, anger and depression. Not one happy moment do I remember from that show. There might have been, but 99% of that show is just wtf.
I took my daughter and her year 6 class mates to see Matthew Rhys play Elvis in a high school production at Ysgol Glantaff in Cardiff, where Welsh speaking children went to school (Ioan Gruffudd also went there) (early 90s). Everybody talked about how amazing his performance was!) 🏴
I just recently started watching "The Americans"...I know late to the party. But OMG I love this series and these two together. Actually.... I didn't know they were an actual couple till I started "Googling" them. They are too cute together...I want to meet a cute, dark-haired guy that makes me belly laugh. He is too hilarious and phenomenal in that role. So is Keri - she's beautiful!
Man it was like a rollercoaster S1 for me when I was desperately wishing Philip and Elizabeth should end up together but when I found out they were partners in real life throughout S2-S6 when things went bad between them I kept telling myself Matthew and Keri are together if not Philip and Elizabeth 😂😂
Or maybe she's acting here, and not acting in The Americans? Haha. I, as well, am glad to see her having fun. The difference is amazing. It's like Sofia Helin and her 'Saga' in Bron/Broen. Matthew and his Phillip are pretty different too. Maybe they're so happy now because don't have to play those characters anymore, lol.
Patricia Dumas I was thinking the same thing! She made me depressed in the last 2 seasons (I binged the show). Obviously she’s a great actor to be able to elicit such emotion from her fans. I actually didn’t like Elizabeth. Love Philip & Matthew.
