At about 50:30, there’s a glitch in the recording. Move to about 51 or so Rhys talks about how he was nervous going into the “chemistry read” meeting with Russell, but he notes that they had an excellent rapport right away.

I'm delighting in watching this video for the third time because of the fantastic interviewer and her wonderful way of putting the panel at ease and encouraging them in their interesting responses. Also, Matthew Rhys' rapid-fire wit reminds me so much of Robin Williams, with the added delight of a yummy Welsh accent.

Rhys is absurdly funny in every single interview. I love his sense of humor. It's almost hard to believe he could play such a serious character as Philip Jennings so well.

Credit to Annet and Matthew for their convincing accents in the show!

Also Alison Wright is British and also does a phenomenal job without a hint of the posh UK accent.
I realize the language either way is English, the accents are extremely different.

Claudia is adorable in personality, and Matthew is both criminally cute and charismatic. It's no wonder Keri fell for him!

I have always loved this show, and each of these characters on stage,
Margo is so funny. I love every movie I've seen her in. She was a riot in, Walk Hard, the Duey Cox story. She must have had a difficult time delivering those lines. She's a very talented woman.
I hope the Americans stays on for many years. 💕

I wish they had asked if much of this would be possible now. With flight records computerized, Homeland Security, security cameras everywhere, etc.

A Welshman playing a Russian, playing an American takes a ton of talent alone.😊
Any time I see Annette now, I think about the story of when she recieved her final script.😢
The story of when she found out Nina's fate and cried as if she were Nina and her mom had to remind her, you are not Nina.
I imagine that would be a really strange feeling and it would feel like a part of you had died, especially if it comes as a surprise.(its been awhile, but Im pretty sure it came as a shock😢)

It's exactly intense shows like this that have a lot of darkness and tension that humor is needed to release.
