Great episode, great finale. Arkady almost had Stan in his hand, but he just had to be an ass with that line about Russian women, which tipped off Stan that this whole time Nina was playing him. Stan made the right choice.

I hate that this show isn't high in the ratings, it's not fair!

I noticed Martha putting the files in her bag... I thought it was pretty ridiculous how she did it that obviously right infront of everyone... and It was even more confusing when it was a dream sequence lol

I laughed out loud when I saw this because at first it looked real and I thought "is security really that shit that she doesn't even need to hide it?"

I think Stan guessed or suspected that Nina and Oleg were playing him. Oleg accidently tipped Stan off when he mentioned that Russian women don't respect men who tell them they love them. How would Oleg know Stan told Nina that he loved her?

I think the church group is the Soviets already trying to recruit her.

I believe that stan subconsciously has noticed martha stealing top secret files and it projected in his nightmare. And also the return of vlad as his wife's lover . Wat a directorial touch..... if you look at there is no way that stan is going to give echo after having such a nightmare

That idea that Fred's death was faked is rather ridiculous (just like the idea that Chilton didn't die from the gunshot to the face). In fact, I would count it as a strike against the show if they did that. His character was a good single season recurring character. He served his purpose in the narrative.

But to get so desperate as to risk such sloppiness wasn't really believable. Especially since it was for tech in development not immediately actionable critical intel.

I spent this summer catching up on all the episodes I watch and episode followed by the "What the flick review" and was so glad when I got it right about who killed Jared's parents and sister. Thanks for not spoiling it for me guys.

Great finale [it's funny that the season 5 finale of Justified (also on FX) had a moment of handcuffed gun-play too]......apologies if that's a spoiler lol
I'm going to be hyperbolic and say that, when it's on, The Americans is the best thing on television. The writing fantastic and it's got great characters. It's believable yet stylish, stylistic and sexy in the right moments.
Also it doesn't dwell on nastiness like other shows I can think of and it isn't leering in any way. - it's a shame it's not got higher ratings, I urge people who like good quality television to watch it. TV doesn't begin and end with HBO, the best stuff is actually elsewhere these days.
Great shot at Homeland at the end there too from Alonso , can't believe that got a 4th season.
    :)

I think it's fair to say that this is one of the top 5 shows this year so far and it just gets better and better.
Prediction for next season: Paige resist until something major happens in her life then kills the president!!!

Is this show any good? I only watched 2 episodes from season one and they failed to keep me interested. Is it worth it to continue watching?

      Yes it is.
It's been one of the smartest & most well-written TV shows for years.
& season 2 is actually better than season 1, which is pretty rare.
The very first episode was not my favorite either, but it didn't prevent me from becoming a fan !
      I hope you'll be converted soon :)

Sophie Oirdi It sure has a lot, I mean a LOT of potential. This show can practically go on for 10 seasons and each season be good. It's been really good until now, hope they don't ruin it.

My guess is that they (eventually) do recruit Paige, or try to… but she, upon hearing the whole your parents are actually russian spies thing, totally freaks the f0¢k out, and runs away.
A season full of chasing her across the country ensues. Drams!

Actually, my prediction is she goes to the cops.
