I love your 4C hair .. You are helping grow my 4C hair ... Thank for giving all women the courage to go natural and enjoy taking care of our own natural hair
Hi guys, I just wanted to add that you don't have to go out of your way to find extra dark JBCO. Any JBCO is just as good. That one is just a personal favorite.
You have such beautiful hair! I told my coworker earlier I only listen to and take advice from naturals who has hair OR who lost hair but it’s growing OR has grown back 😜🤪🤧
Once I saw you pop out the Qhemet Biologics, I knew you covered ALL the bases for supreme moisture for hair! Your routine is so thorough and you can tell that they all work for you. Thank you!
I picked up that Alikay Shea Yogurt on a whim and I definitely agree that it is amazing. It smells so good. I have fine hair so I only need a finger tip amount. Mine has lasted quite a while because of it. It also smells divine.
Ur hair is giving me hope 😊😊❤️😁really love how u enjoy it with ur length ❤️❤️thank you for posting frequently 💝❤️I appreciate that ❤️❤️plz don’t get tired of posting ❤️❤️
Great video with awesome tips, and I really like the part where you say stay away from the hair salon bcaz no one gonna care for your Natural Hair like you do; you are sooooooo right, I learnt this the hard way, but I’m really thankful now that my natural hair is flourishing once again.
I'm natural and to say I'm over all of these products is an understatement. My hair has buildup often because I wear it out. Ugh. The struggle is real!!!!!!
+Charletta Ramono Honesty, you really don't need a basket full of products lol. As long as you have a couple that works for you, it is more than enough.
My favourite shampoo is 22nd century natural woman’s shampoo bar. I also love her deep conditioner. I’ve been using for a month and I have stopped using Shea moisture because of it
The Amla and olive heavy cream is my babe as a hit oil treatment. The detangling ghee I use as a hair moisturizer as well. I load up at Black Friday time!
Yes yes yes I love Alikay Naturals lemon conditioner, it is so moisturizing and smells good. It works best for twists or braids as it soaks into the hair while in the protective style.
angeljar2012 hey, assalamu alaykum :) i see that you wear a scarf like me so can i ask your advice? How do you keep your hair moisturised under your hijaab?
First of all, I love your voice! I live for the accent lol You have a beautiful personality and the information on the products you share is super valuable! Im a fellow 4C gal so it can definitely been challenging to find good products so I will be trying some of these out soon!:) you just got a new subbie! Can’t wait for the next upload!
If you like Black Castor Oil, you should try Henry Miller Cosmetics Castor Oil Emoillent, its moisturized hair so well with just a little, and its hexane free (no toxins). It's a high-end oil but it works. A friend of mine whose a celebrity hairstylist in LA told me about it and HMC works, been using it for a year now.
Omanin you have amazingly beautiful hair and skin . You have obviously studied the effects of the products on your hair and I an starting to pay more attention as well. I so agree with you on the products. They all mostly work and some work better than others and how effective they are depends on how to use them properly for your hair. Key is right type of hydration and how pleasant they smell and not necessary expensive. I get you girl. I keep buying new products when what i should do is thoroughly explore how to use the ones I have properly.
I have the Qhemet Biologics Amla and Olive hair butter. Unless I pair it with the Cocoa Tree Detangling Ghee, I like to seal it with pomade or hair grease.
I love your hair!!😍 My hair sheds like crazy, like handfuls of hair balls at a time. Could you do a video on how to retain thickness and prevent shedding?
tothepoint Try opinion and potato water. Boil water first if using tap. Then Just cut up an opinion and potato and throw in pot on low heat for 20 minutes. Let cool and pour off that precious water and put in an old hair bottle. If u don't have one use a water bottle with holes in top. And put on ur hair at night. The smell will fade by morning and the potato helps a lot with the smell and also helps ur hair grow and stop shedding. This will also thicken ur hair and opinion will help with all kinds of scalp problems that could cause shedding or slow growth! This has saved my 4c low porosity hair. I was shedding like crazy till someone put me onto this. Now its growing well and much thicker. I'm mad no one told me sooner!
Lovely hair girl 💗💞Im always contemplating if There is much of a difference from the Alikay Shea Yogurt product and raw Shea butter mixed with oils as a Diy? I should just give it a try because I like their leave in and conditioner products. Very informative video! Thanks dear 😘
I had dreadlocks for 10 years. I took them out with love and i went from hip length to shoulder length hair but i want to stay natural so thanks for the tips. Dont mind my English i am Dutch.
Really nice video. I didn’t know about the triple dark castor oil. I’ll have to look for that one. I have the one you have and I love it. I also use that oil on my lashes/brows for growth, just don’t get it in your eyes. Some ppl should be warned that for a few ppl (I did the research) the ash could be too much and they could have a reaction. I used to use a few of the products you use but most have cones and I wanted to purchase more products from black owned businesses. A few other great products are Whisper Whip, this product is for co-wash/leave-in/deep conditioner. I use this only to detangle because it works the best for my hair. I just found Belle Bar Organics to boost my deep conditioners. This place is expensive but uber awesome. Then of course the Detangling Ghee you have is wonderful. Plus products from The Mane Choice and Soultanicals. Just to name a few others. Hopefully you can get some of those products and do reviews. Thank you for the video. Such beautiful hair💜
great video! have you tried the Curls Blueberry Shampoo? or the Mizani True Textures Curl Balance Shampoo? these are my fav right now i also recently tried the Design Essentials Almond & Avocado Nourishing Co-Wash & its pretty nice. I use it as a rinse out conditioner we use some of the same products!
+Destiny Milan Hi. This is what I always do, take a piece of your hair and attempt to stretch it, if it breaks easy. You properly need protein treatment.
What do you recommend for the scalp. My texture is very thick like yours and I think I may be low porosity. I notice that I have itchy scalp sometimes and I've never ran into that. What do you recommend:)) your hair is lovely. I am going to try what you did with keeping your hair in the twist while washing and conditioning.
Aloe Vera gel with peppermint oil an tea tree oil works well for me. Massage onto scalp before washing you hair, leave for some minutes then wash. You can check Naptural85’s video for her aloe Vera pre poo.
My hair just doesn't like a lot of different stuff so I'll keep using what I use however I'm looking for a nice leave in conditioner; perhaps ASIAM leave in conditioner because I've used that one before however mostly for the scent 🙄
@Blessed Indeed! What happened to the Motions line of products? Can't find leave in conditioner spray anywhere. I LOVED their leave in conditioner spray. I could get my hair braided, leave it up for months, and when I take it down, smooth effortless comb through. And my hair was super soft!
Hey sis I just want to thank you for this video, but I would like to kindly ask you to give me tips on some products that I can you to grow and moisturize my hair.I recently did a big chop because I have tried everything my hair is just not growing.Thank you so much🙏🏾
+Aminata Jah Hi, I think that using butters are wonderful for super dry hair. Using the LOC method or the LCO method would help you lock in the moisture and prevent your hair from drying out. Check out the 4 awesome moisturizing techniques video and use that as guidance. Also for hair grow try to incorporate castor oil in your hair regimen. That oil is wonderful for hair growth.
Can you name the shampoo, conditioner, and oils you used during your natural journey. The main ones. I feel like the least amount of products you use the better. You list so many idk where to start. Thanks!
hi beautiful! Thank you for sharing!! i have used some of the shampoos and conditioners mentioned. i was wondering if you can suggest a few moisturizers that are effective, goes a long way with one application but a little nicer on the wallet please?😄 even if that means mentioning the same products spoken of in this video, i'll take it. will just have to think of the benefits the product has while walking to the register instead of the price😂
Are you in the US because just about every product you showed is new to me. I love JBCO but I don't see the Xtra dark and certainly not 2times dark JBCO. Personally, I don't it makes any difference as long as it's Jamaican Black. Lastly, I recently bought vitamin E oil because I know what it does for skin and hair. This is the first time I've come across you so I have subbed.
I keep hearing the terminology phrase “It gives my hair slip OR no slip” what exactly is happening OR not happening to the hair? What does that phrase mean? Thanks anyone who knows and can enlighten me?
Lool i was once like you but it basically means that when you put the product in you hair, your fingers can go through it so easily. Your finger or comb basically slips through the hair. So for example, shampoos typically don't give slip which is why people wont detangle with it in their hair but a good cowash like tresseme has so much slip. Hope that helps
I am sensitive to castor oil, what can I use instead that have the same effect, or is there any way to use castor oil without getting allergic reactions?

I have 12 months post defrisage and I will follow your advice to have the hair as beautiful and Long as yours 😍

You may be anemic. Iron pills or B-12 pills would help if you are anemic.
Michelle people with perfectly good iron levels can still shed lots of hair. Let’s not try diagnosing conditions here😂
Lovely hair girl 💗💞Im always contemplating if There is much of a difference from the Alikay Shea Yogurt product and raw Shea butter mixed with oils as a Diy? I should just give it a try because I like their leave in and conditioner products. Very informative video! Thanks dear 😘
+Jessica y Yeah the Shea Yogurt is more like a moisturize, but it is also great for sealing in moisture.
I am in love with butters, too! Gotta have shea butter all the time.
Great video! Will try some of your suggestions.
I was going to ask you abt the products used on your hair. I will be checking them out..👍

Hi loved the video. Is that your hair in the video or a wig, if it's your hair how did you make the style? Thanks
Black hair is expensive asf. I spend 100$ on shampoo, conditioner, treatment, oil and moisturizer every two month.
My hair just doesn't like a lot of different stuff so I'll keep using what I use however I'm looking for a nice leave in conditioner; perhaps ASIAM leave in conditioner because I've used that one before however mostly for the scent 🙄

Neat products. I love using Jane Carter's Nourish and Shine and Aloe Vera on my hair to moisturize it. I talked about this on my channel.
+Alicia Mendsey awesome
Hey can you tell me how you get the treseme naturals conditioner? They discontinue I thought. That was my fave conditioner!
Hi i believe i linked it to amazon. They sell it there.

How often do you use a protein treatment
+Channie B Honestly I haven't used it in a while. But I would like to use it once a month.

+Deirdre Gaskin I think you are right JBCO in general is great.
How do you know when to use the all those produts?
I keep hearing the terminology phrase “It gives my hair slip OR no slip” what exactly is happening OR not happening to the hair? What does that phrase mean? Thanks anyone who knows and can enlighten me?
+Blessed Indeed! A product that has the ability to aid in detangling. Giving your hair a slippery feel, making your hair more manageable.
Craving Curly Kinks thanks 😊😊😊
Maryam Yusuf thank you kindly and heck I need something that does that 🙄😊🙄
Craving Curly Kinks which do you recommend first for a slippery slope for my hair? I'm low porosity with super curly fine easily tangled hair
I am sensitive to castor oil, what can I use instead that have the same effect, or is there any way to use castor oil without getting allergic reactions?
+Alaa Adam Aleo Vera gel mixed with other oils can also be great for hydrating dry hair Or Avocado oil in LOC. Method.
Craving Curly Kinks thanks alot dear 😊❤😊

Your hair is just so beautiful, how long are you post relaxer?
+SweetnSavory Thank you. My last relaxer was August 2010. I big chopped April 2011.
She literally said how long she's been natural at the VERY BEGINNING of the video.
There's a difference between how long someone's been natural and how long someone is post relaxer...
I have never saw that product, where you brought it from?
+Alberta Reid Hi, which one? I have the products links in the description below as well.
