    Yasss great to see a vid like this. Ñot everyone likes the LOC or LCO. Sometimes I just do the LC OR LO. It helps as I have low porosity hair.

    Whenever I moisturize, two things happen:
    The layers mix together, and the moisture doesn’t last past 2 hours :(

    • @abioni6092
      @abioni6092 5 ปีที่แล้ว +15

      Sounds like you have high porosity like me. Sadly our hair just doesn’t retain moisture as much. LCO but with a thick oil and moisturise every 3 days at least, if your hair isn’t in a protective style. That seems to work for me! Hope it helps.

      If you leave your hair in a puff or afro it's always going to feel dry quickly, that's just black hair for you. Try twisting your hair straight away after moisturising it, and then maybe doing a twist out the next day or a few days later. You will find that the moisture will last longer.

    I was tired two days ago😥so i just took water and an oil to moisturize my hair,three days later took my hair out and it was soo soft and stretched,I could part my hair soo easily 🤭didn’t believe it😁and I noticed that wen i do twist my hair get soo puffy on the root,and being soo tangled 😥but wen i do braids my hair doesn’t get tangled like it does with the twist ❤️i know it’s an off topic but just wanted to share it 😁❤️so may be i will keep this routine and see..❤️

    I use the LCO method but for my oil I use Shea butter. When u rub it between your hands it melts into an oil. For my cream I use Camille rose naturals moisture milk. Of course for my liquid I use water. This combo of products makes my high porosity 4C hair so soft and manageable. Nice video 👍🏾

    LCO method works best for me. I used to use the LOC but my hair just wasn’t responding. Sometimes I’ll use a water-based leave in (Soultanicals Frizz Whiz) instead of water then a product. • @floresamor4146
      @floresamor4146 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Maybe you need heavier products like shea butter. I start with water, leave in conditioner then I'm super heavy handed with my shea butter... Especially at the ends
      Then I put my hair in protective styles like braids. Spritz water in it throughout the week. Braids help me retain moisture for a week or so at a time

    Yessss!!!!!!!!! Your hair is wonderful!!!! I really want my hair to go back into natural from relaxing, what can I use? I started in mid August last year, but it keeps on going back straight even though I haven relaxed it for a very long time. What products should I use to get my hair natural again?

      +Anne Marie Chase Hi, the only way to transition back is to grow your hair out and cut of the straight ends. If your hair stay straight maybe it's the amount of heat that is being used? Are u using alot of heat while transitioning to natural?

      doThatGWalk You know what, that's old school and we all had hair back in the days when we used that 🤔. I just may incorporate that as well.

      @@Tee-xg4jf hi.. did u ever try water and hair grease? if so, how were the results

      Nicole Hackett hi, I decided to use Sunnyindenbigh from Instagram. No chemicals, very moisturizing, I use her entire line and I absolutely love it. My hair is still growing, it’s stronger, 95% less shedding, much thicker...I love it. I keep my house stocked with her products like I keep my house stocked with bottle water.

    Who and or what inspired you to grow your natural hair. How did you find out about shea butter and techniques used to grow healthy long hair?

      +ThisOwl Who inspired me is burning my scalp with relaxers and making a decision to accept my hair just the way it is. Also being part of natural hair group where different people share and talk about natural hair care. Along with common sense practices and learning through experience.👍😀

      Craving Curly Kinks Awesome! Whenever I see ladies with beautiful healthy hair I’m always curious about their beginnings and how they started. The online hair forums and hair boards had the biggest impact on this natural hair community. It all started with those awesome ladies.
