    1. Pre pro (soak and detangle with with grapeseed oil and water using fingers and wide toothed comb)
    2. Shampoo with Cream of nature argan oil
    3. Deep condition "Hair mayonnaise", distribute with wide toothed comb
    4. Process with a bit of heat, for her low porosity hair
    5. Air dry
    6. Shea moisture leaves in conditioner
    7. Ultra moisturizing cream
    8. Seal with oil
    9. Curl defining gel
Do once a week! She uses the LCO method
Be consistent, drink water, and maintain a healthy diet.

Honestly I can understand why people are annoyed, hair grows differently for people, and utubers take advantage of that. It is hard to tell who is genuine about products helping their hair grow. My hair grows so fast, literally a centimeter a month, without product or all this fuss. I too can start a channel and lie about how I got my hair.

Thank you for speaking up about the negative comments. We women need to learn to support and compliment one another more but being sincere. It takes maturity at any age for that . It also makes you feel better to show kindness and love towards others. EVERYONE has struggles in life This is why we all need Jesus to help us. . Renew our mind. We cant just stop on our own. Hiding behind computers and spitting out hate is not the way to get rid of envy ,hate, bitterness and jealousy. Be thankful that we can obtain free information that can be helpful. Be your best and blessed. She is sincerely trying to help others. It takes time to put tigether videos. Pay or no pay it takes a lot and a kindness to want to share.

It isn't growth that's the issue. It's RETAINING LENGTH. Everyone is capable of growing hair but a lot of girls with kinky hair do hair styles (leaving in weaves too long, tight extensions etc.) and add chemicals (perms, extreme heat etc.) to their hair that causes the head to lose hair faster than the rate at which it's growing. Stop making your buns and ponytails too tight, let your hair breathe every once in a while! Moisturize your hair regularly with butters and natural oils like Jamaican black caster oil, olive oil, argan oil, coconut oil. This applies to twists, braids, AND box braids especially. Box braids are ONLY a protective style when you moisturize them weekly and wash your hair every 1-3 weeks. Otherwise your hair under will be a dry dirty mess with lots of BREAKAGE and THINNING! (I learned the hard way). And 4 type hair girls please have patience. Our extremely tight curls have shrinkage that makes our length very hard to visualize.

I grew up my hair butt length in a year. but it was shoulder length before that.
Just keep it tucked and nice and moisturized. Our hair loves to be treated like a queen, because it's our crown.😊 just treat our hair nicely, no pulling and pushing. No tight braids period!! I swear tight braids will take it off of your scalp.Won't make it grow, but will replace the old hair by taking it out of your scalp....
If I'm feeling braids, I do it by my self just loose and nice. That's all. Oh and keep the scalp clean. It works on everybody.

    • @alllove3270
      @alllove3270 5 ปีที่แล้ว +40

Yessssss sis! You’re 100% right. Hence why all the likes. I tought I was alone in this theory but it seems many of us are learning the hard way. They feed us bullshit so we can keep buying fake hair chemicals etc
      I have 4c hair.
When I was ten I had long thick strong luxury hair. My mum used her mums natural care hair routine and I was sick of the oil and braids and wanted to relax and look like my friends. My mum finally let me and I was doing that until 24 . But my hair stopped growing. It still looked healthy but that was youth.
Then keratin treatments came out and I started doing them and my hair started growing again. I didn’t look after my hair but it grew and I guess by default I went natural but I didn’t exactly look after my hair. I let my my hair be but I never box braided or tied it hard. Or wore any hairs I just let it BE and it grew halfway down my back which was the most.
THIS WAS WITHOUT ME CARING FOR IT MOSTURISING ETC
      - then after ten years for some stupid reason and life problems I just had one of those stupid moments and relaxed it again. Biggest mistake. First I wasn’t young anymore and my hair did not like relaxing. And why was very annoying is when you start relaxing you have to keep doing the new roots. Then I started getting white hair and I dyed I black.
      Worse mistake of my life.
I remember my hair literally falling out and breaking off. I was so mortified.
After that I did not put anything on my hair. Not even shampoo: onky natural stuff like coconut oil. As the roots grew I started reading about “protective” hair styles like box braid and wigs and weave.
      MISTAKE NUMBER THREE
I wasted my money going to salons. I tried every protective style from
Box braids to frontals until I noticed in six months my edges have fallen out:
The stylist told me the braid were too tight. I was mad because I was getting contradictory advice about braids and weave and how thick and when to wash. I relised the had way fake hair damages your hair.
      NOW IM NATURAL NATURAL
I only use Gods earth pure coconut oil or Cheba powder or T444z which is for treating hair loss and bold hair and has a mix of castor oil peppermint etc.
My new growth is coming out THICK AND STRONG AND FAST. The old hair I remember when I was ten and my mum would be tugging.
I almost want to cry and relised it’s not ageing etc....it’s just so simple as this sister is saying.
Stop anything unnatural. Stop heat, chemicals, dyeing, relaxing, wigs, weave, braids ALL DAMAGE YOUR hair.
All you need is a moisturiser. Pure like coconut oil. Comb daiky slowly and don’t pull hard. Let it dry naturally.
EVEN WEARING A SCARF AT NIGHT is a liability if you tie it to hard. You cut off the blood and you have headaches.
I come from a North African family wth 4c hair. Most of us aunties and cousins have exceptionally long hair till THIER knees! They used to be called Indians at school. But my grandma use to do one thing from them Every night. Mix olive oil and lots of natural oils they call KARKAR and like chad woman of Africa they oil THIER hair every night and tie into buns. They only took off the buns when they went out which they hardly did because they lived in a cut of village.
      Conclusion
      Stop playing with your hair
Moisturiser daily at night. Use so much oil even if it hate it. Get used to it.
Brush slowly bottom up. Don’t brush while it’s wet.
Wash once every week and half.
Make sure you buy a filter shower if the water in your area is not good.
Leave your hair alone. Anything fake or man made you put in your hair stops growth. Every braids.
It’s a hard transition if you live for your wigs but if you are mentally ready for nature this is my own experience and advice
Better you wear your own long hair. I used I be so stupid and sea weaves and wigs that are as long as my own hair!
Thanks you sis for sharing: I thought I was the only one who came to your conclusion
Respect your hair and your hair will respect you. I. Believe in my heart wearing fake hair wigs damages your hair. Your hair doesn’t like it. Your hair needs your love. Not you loving on fake hair u

As a child, my mother did not take care of my hair so I never learned. My hair was always thin and short. Within the last 3 yrs. I began reading about taking care of Black hair. I learned a few things and stopped brushing my hair so much and incorporated hair moisturizing daily lotion with weekly shampoo & conditioner. I saw results. Slow, but results just the same. Now, I know more about leave-in conditioner. Your video taught me even more. Now I know I'm on the right track. Thank you so much for sharing with us that don't half know what we are doing! LOL! Also garlic is great for hair growth. It is packed with minerals and nutrients that helps with growing your hair. Place it on the scalp and go to sleep with it on your hair. Then wake up and wash it out. Scrub the garlic through out the hair. Leave it in like a leave in conditioner.

I would recommend Mane 'n Tail conditioner. The day after I used it, I grabbed my hair to put into a pony tail and was jarred by the thickness that I acquired overnight. I couldn't believe it. Now I'm hooked. I used both the shampoo and conditioner, although I'm not that fond of the shampoo. My hair has grown considerably, visibly in two months. Also, an unexpected surprise is the strength and beauty of my nails. Rubbing my scalp in that conditioner has had other effects and I love it. So, give it a try. The cheapest is at Walmart. Give us an update in two months :-D

Did anybody who commented genetics realize it took her pretty much 5 years to get here? 😂 (2013-2018) this wasn’t over night , her committing herself to drinking water , doing her routine and eating healthily is what got her here, genetics played a very little role here.

    • @stephanieslaughter8403

I totally agree! Genetics reasoning is a copp out this gives the lazy person an out by reasoning that ppl who work hard have what they have by birth. What a slap in the face. Cause my hair started at 1/2" on top bald faded on the sides and back. Now 16mos later i have 5" of hair from hours of watching vid suggestions; sampling products; messaging my scalp; oiling washing twisting WORK WORK WORK

I stated that genetics played a very little role in this, not that it didn’t have a role. you can’t be you without genetics so I’m sure they do play a role in almost everything or everything. I understand there are a lot of people who act like it’s possible to grow hair over night but to comment your assumptions and opinions is always a choice. you can think whatever you want, I’m just saying don’t try to knock her hustle by discrediting her tips because you assumed her mixed genes got her there. and when I say you, I’m not referring to you, it’s just an example.

Yikes, sorry for all of the people who have nothing better to do than to post negativity on your video. My daughter is mixed and her hair had been severely damaged by heat processing to the extreme. I haven't seen her hair grow past her shoulders in 8 years. She is really struggling with it. Hair length and health has to do with how we treat our hair, not genetics. Mixed or not, using crazy amounts of heat, tight hairstyles, excessive chemicals and not moisturizing will prevent hair from growing and keep it unhealthy. I don't know why people assume these videos should just be for 4C naturals. Um, black people with other textures exist too...hello!? People will always find something to criticize. Thanks for the video. I like your lack of product junkism. Keep it simple.

Stop calling your child 'mixed'. she is a human being and not 'mixed' or 'black' or 'white' or anything else just because she and her parents are not Hollywood or white supremacist ideals or stereotypes... She is a normal child and nothing else. Welcome to 2018.
Her hair is her hair and individual as anyones hair. Some peoples hair grow fast, others slow... With people I mean all people in the world! All!

    • @1NikkiTate
      @1NikkiTate 6 ปีที่แล้ว +50

Child that is nonsense. Social and cultural identifiers don't mean we aren't human beings anymore. It means we have ethnic and social group backgrounds that contribute to our identity. Yes, some people use it as a reason to oppress others, yet we can also use it to unify with eachother over common background, experience and ancestry. As you gain in maturity you will begin to understand why that is important. My MIXED race daughter wants to give acknowledgement to the multiple ancestral backgrounds that influence her and are apart of who she is.

    • @jjbedrhi850
      @jjbedrhi850 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

No offence. Did not meant to attack you. Want you to open your eyes. This is usually a result of wrong education. Those social indicators are not helpful at all.
If you choose 'races' and 'being different' from other humans like so called 'whites', you choose racism! You promote racism. Then you should not complain about discrimination. Two races are never equal... Matter of fact!
      Here it comes:
Races do not exist among humans. (that is the real reason why we are all equal!). So why promoting this idea which is just causing harm and is not even true at the end?
Saying your daughter is mixed doesn't tell anybody about her hair or hair grows. Black people do not have other genetics then white or all other people in the world. Your child can have straight or curly hair. She can be light skinned or dark skinned independent from her parents skin colour or origin. Furthermore curly hair in the terms of 'Afro curly' doesn't mean all those people have the same genetics or nonsense like slower hair grow! Even my sisters got different hair from me. One of them has extremely thick, dark black and a lot of hair and it grows like hell...
IWe do not need this way of thinking that is supporting racism. With racism I mean discrimination and prejudice based on people's skin color. Google by yourself the following sentence and get some education: 'races do not exist, but racism does'...
White supremacist abused evolution theories by Darwin and tried to define races among humans based on the way people look and to justify slavery and repression (Darwin was up set about it, because this was not what he tried to explain). Then science especially genetics disproved that you can divide humanity into race's.
Just because we both have darker skin, doesn't make us more related to each other then to any other person 'black' or 'white'... Your kid is not mixed, because there are no pure humans!!!
Might be a challenge for you to understand this. But this exactly shows a big difference between you and me and therefore again proof that just because we are sharing a few features we do not automatically have the same ability and spirit to overcome the shadows of the past and start appreciating real diversity... For example to understand how diverse all humans are!

Don't push people away, surround yourself with people who are spiritually mature and get the help that you need. Isolation when you are in pain and don't know if there's a way out is dangerous and that's why we have suicide cases. Right, I've been natural since 2009 and my hair is not as long as Amber's. Also, age can be a factor as well. I'm an older curly. So I know at 40+ my hair is not going to grow as fast as it did in my 20's. Also Amber's is very thick. My hair is fine. Fine hair tends to be more fragile than thick hair. When you have fine hair, you have to handle it like a delicate fabric. Because the wrong product, or pulling the hair too tightly can cause breakage. Even wearing certain hats can mess with my edges. I definitely can't wear any hats that have wool in them.

Consistent routine and healthy diet are the main factors. As long as you do not have any vitamin deficiencies and you are consistent with a good regimen your hair will grow approximately 1/2 inch per month. Consistency is key and will produce Hair growth to be In 1 year approximately ear length. In 2 years approximately shoulder length. In 3 years approximately mid back length. In 4 years approximately waiste length. I’m over 40 and it worked for me.

La Donna I agree 100%. It's as if I wrote this comment myself. I've been natural about the same length of time as you, fine hair, over 40 and NO MAJOR GROWTH! And I sit here and watch these videos torturing myself thinking I will find something different. Its 85% Genetics and the rest we do. The 15% I do doesn't do much of anything. I gave up and just did a Diva cut for the spring/summer.
Just like I'm a mother of 5 and I'm able to keep my weight down with no diet and no major workouts. Genetics! I got Michelle Obama arms. I get asked what's your arm workout routine. No routine. Genetics, Genetics, Genetics (genotype and phenotype)

I'm not saying it's impossible to grow your hair out if you're over 40. My hair is almost bra strap length. But it took a great deal of pampering my hair to achieve that length. I wear mostly protective styles. I don't manipulate my hair that much. I have to stay on top of keeping it moisturized. I have satin scarves, satin pillow cases, the whole nine yards.

Ms KSS you make a very valid point about having Michelle Obama arms but you don't work out. I have seen people with muscular bodies that don't work out but I lift weights and it's hard to define my arms. With that said, you all are right that genetics does play a role in rate of hair growth. I stand corrected and will now say that Having a consistent routine is important to obtain your PERSONAL best hair growth and retention. Thanks for your enlightening comments ladies. 😊

My hair is shorter. The day before I wash, I treat my scalp and hair with grapeseed oil and peppermint essential oil. The next day I wash my hair, condition my hair in the shower, combing the conditioner through with a wide tooth comb, put in leave in and then style. I have low porosity hair so I need to do the most in the shower. I drink at least 2 gallons of water a day because I live in Arizona and I'm also assisting my weight loss regimen. Your hair is gorgeous. Thanks for the video.

I've been looking for a inexpensive hair product an easier routine!
I just spent a whole lot on the Belle Bar hair growth challenge! It's really good stuff, but right now I find the program to be intimidating. I think I'm going to put it away for a little bit and then I'm looking for something a little bit easier and not so expensive! Don't get me wrong the products are awesome, but I need something a little less complicated at this point in time.
I lost almost all of my hair because of medications. So, now I 'm trying to stimulate it to grow back and I believe what I've just seen may just do that for me. My hair is almost bald in the top and baby fine, but lately-I've seen a bit of new growth darker hair growing in the almost bald patches.
I also do't have any curl in the top when I twist it or try to it goes straight the back is a tad more curl to it!
But, When I finish this note to you I'm going online and ordering the products you use...I needed other products with the Belle Bar products but I couldn't figure out what to use! I'm hard of hearing, my computer speakers are low and she spoke way too fast for me. I never did my own hair...I had locs for 10 yrs, long and beautiful. All gone because of the medications I was on!
So, thanks for taking the time to read my dribble. I will be going to Amazon to get the products, so I can begin my weekly routine! I will get the heat cap also! This head hasn't seen any heat since 2002 the year I decided no more chemicals and chopped off my big hair to get ready for my Sister locs, I miss my locs they were down to my but and beautiful...till the medicine took it out!
Well, I can't wait to see the next video! I'll be watching once or more again so I get the routine down correctly! till my products come then I can begin my weekly routine!
    Thanks again
    Peaches!

Idk why these "mixed" comments are a thing. Like honestly my boyfriend is natural, and 100% black. He takes care of it the same way and it looks almost the same. Not everyone has the same hair. If you're gonna make a comment on "ease" keep it at that. Her racial background isn't the only factor.

The rate that the hair on your body grows is a good indicator of your average growth rate. If you find yourself shaving a lot then your hair certainly does not grow slow. You most likely aren’t retaining length.

whateverticklesyourpickle Monique do you have a healthy eating regimen? That's the main source of growth. You can do the inversion method it works great. Basicly hot oil massage your scalp in gentle circular motion then hang your head upside down for four minutes. Helps get more blood flo to your scalp. Also hot oil treatments are bomb for Hair growth. I do it under a steamer. Hope this helps!
