Absolutely love this truck! I would not worry about the slight color differences on the interior panels because that’s the way the come new and I bet you most people don’t pay any attention to it. Stellar job, I have enjoyed this build very much! Thanks for sharing
Thank you soooo much Travis Im in the middle of swaping my 2000 4.3 silverado Im also doing power locks and power windows My donor vehicle is a 2002 suburban so im swaping EVERYTHING!! power seats dash crnter console EVERYTHING THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
@@TWAMotorsports thanks for the reply travis, why do you think a suburban wont work as a donor im worried now. I know i will have extra buttons on the doors for the rear windows please reply like i said im woried now 🤯
Nice video on the green truck completion... You gave me an idea on door panels and plastic interior parts for my 94 project TA that needs my level of detail and time thank you Travis.. great content on all your videos... I'm digging it.. 👍
@@TWAMotorsports my wife and I we watching your video on the vehicles you had through the yrs.. and we both looked at each other and said Travis had a red Volkswagen bug with a 23 Jordan number on it. Holy cow I would never have guessed you have a VW bug
I use evercoat to fix cracks and blemishes. Dying it old school guys used zippo lighter fluid to prep I use small amout of lacquer thinner on white rag to soften the plastic/vinyl i get professional results.
That SEM paint is the only way to go for trim pieces like that - did a lot of my interior of my Land Cruiser with it and it’s held up great for 3yrs so far.
I have a 03 rcsb truck I just swapped a v8 in. It's a manual Dorr and window truck but I like it to keep it as light as possible. My only issue was the 2 wire alternator in the later years using a pwm signal from the bcm for charging command... I ended up getting a pwm signal generator to control the 160 Amp alt instead of using the smaller 3 wire alt i had... it works well. Other than that it's an easy swap. I tuned it myself this build and it's rewarding to say the least! Very impressed Travis! Great work as always! Can you do a driving video soon? Maybe a hit or 2 on the old truck? Would love to see a fpv drive!
I swapped a v8 and power windows locks mirrors and seats fuel lines electric fans different fuel tank downer veh 04 avalanche into a 03 reg cab almost took a year
Is it possible to do keyless entry with the swap? I am collecting the parts for the swap the ghetto way. (I do not have the patience for dash wiring harness) but I would really like keyless entry.
Ok,I got my dash and I've got it cleaned up, I'm starting to add the heated mirror wires into the harness. I can't find the video that you say you mention the vats in..do you know what video you mention it in
@TWAMotorsports don't have a computer. Do I get one of those code readers, and if so,which model do I need. And could you possibly do a video for us non computer, hp tuner guys. I love your vids. Awesome and very in depth in detail you make it very easy and leave no questions on how stuff comes apart or goes back together.
That color combo looks so good, the grey being the secondary color brings out the khaki. Nice truck 👍🏾
Thank you. I like it
Found the hidden vehicle. Looks like a 69-71ish blue c10. Excited to see more
Nope but I will explain that too

If the circuit isn't complete things may not work, such as rear doors, lights, etc.
@@TWAMotorsports i see.
Im too far in. I will continue and hopefully it works. If not i will look for a silverado harness.
Good luck

So the 17113 is a closer matche for the 99-02 "light graphite" and the other is for the 03-06 dark pewter match
Yes
Great job on that truck buddy. It is a beauty. Like the hat BTW. So whats up with C10 in front of your bay door?
Thank you. More to come on the c10
thick gel super glue to help fill? then paint over, random thought
Probably would have worked better

@TWAMotorsports can you recommend the one I need to buy. It's it like a code reader or do I have to.do.it from a laptop..or take it to the stealership
Find a local tuner. Gm will NOT do it.

You will see soon what's up with the c10
Will 2500 4 door wire harness work on a single cab 1500
