@@CC-Wulf They fell apart quickly. I used to run home from school to watch "Where the Action Is " at 4 pm. Black and white I think. Just saw 80 year old Volk on another channel with a cover band. Not very good. He was Fang because he had buck teeth. Had an unusual white guitar with Fang on the back. Smitty used to do like Moe Howard impersonations. I guessed they learned how to ham it up on that show. But their music was first rate and Melcher, Doris Days son, object of the Manson killings did well with them. I think the history was they started in the 50s and the band changed many times. I think Revere and Lindsey were the main members. I always heard they and the Monkeys outsold the Beatles. I never had any money but the records cost $4.00 and as soon as I could scrape it together I would run up to Pennys and buy another raiders album. Their production was heavy metal. I loved them and the DaveClark 5, another band who was banned for loudness. Depressing to see them hamming it up in small venues but I know they did it because they made good money. Its like you could hire them for the high school prom. I guess Lindsey was kinda like David Lee Roth. Hard to replace. I think Sammy Haagar did play my High school.
1986. Carl Driggs, lead singer. Doug Heath, lead guitar. Ron Foos, bass, Danny Kraus, keyboards. I met Danny briefly in Las Vegas, 1980's. The Raiders were performing briefly, at a resort. Danny was quiet and courteous. Fun show!

The audiences are usually canned generic shots. B roll.
@@CC-Wulf That version died a long time ago.
@@rogersmith7396 True, as with all bands that change personnel, you kind of remember who the original members were when one first got into their music. I'm an old fart in my 70's and I remember that lineup.
Ron Foos, bass,
Danny Kraus, keyboards.
I met Danny briefly in Las Vegas, 1980's.
The Raiders were performing briefly, at a resort. Danny was quiet and courteous.
Fun show!
Omar Martinez, on drums.
Krause, with an "e", rather.
Exselen wao
Good music
I like it
I still have my copy of Generic Rock and Roll…cassette version. The case was signed by Paul, Baby Raider and Ron at a PRR show in the early 1990s. It was a double bill with Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Most ppl came to see Frankie but walking out all I heard were comments about how great PRRs were
In the here and now of 2023 AD. No rap act could even touch this.
All of them were so funny and very nice
Carl "Carlo" Driggs leading in the place of Mark Lindsey, I love Mark but this guy is one hell of a showman with that perfect voice, causing you not to miss Mark. Great change Carl is great.
The crowd seems to love them
That was Pink Floyds audience.
This is so funny miss you Paul
Talented!!! Hilarious 😂🤣😂Fun FUN

"the whole world loves a ballad"--funny!
i didnt like em after75 when mark left and they became a nostalgia band
I have nothing against "nostalgia"..it's the "goofy" I can do without.
