First saw these guys at Parkers on Aurora in 1964 when Drake Levin was on lead guitar. Big fan of Jim Valley, Phil Volk and Mike Smith, and never understood why they were replaced. Having said that, Carlos Driggs, Daniel Krause, Omar Martinez, Ron Foos, and Doug Heath, the guys in this video, were by far the most talented as well as the most entertaining, and were together as Raiders far longer than any other grouping. Outstanding bunch.
I remember being at Disneyland in the early 80s and heard some killer music - and went to check it out (Suite Judy Blue Eyes) and it was Paul & the Raiders on Tom Sawyer Island. After that would catch them at their 4th of July shows at Great America, one year lucked out - a radio station KYA had another concert there - Mary Wells, Tommy Roe, Sam Moore from Sam and Dave, and Little Anthony and the Imperials - back in the day when it was included in the price of admission
Hey, Just Me, did you ever stop to think that many people felt the same way about Mr. Lindsay trying to sound like black R&B performers in the early days of the band? This god-like status many people have given Mark has gotten out of hand. I'd bet he would even agree with that.
Can you imagine the rehearsal time that this style of musician/ showmanship took for the entire band! Crisaaake!
Once upon a time in Hollywood brought me here
I do not know who is having more fun, the band or the audience, wish i had been able to see them live.
I just can't handle life anymore after this. WOW myannnn

I’d liked to have seen the original group - they were on TV 5 days a week. Where The Action Is
Great Show 👍
Paul the consummate showman!
Miss the great Levin guitar solo and the original band with Mark Lindsay

no Mark Lindsay? and where is the rest of the original band?
2025!!
I understand Paul Revere and Mark Lindsay broke up the band in the later years due to disagreements between the two. Usually the way things go.
NOT Mark Lindsay,
Is this evangelical stepping out or am I a clone robot having fun. Scary
NO......
I didn't know actor Jeff Daniels was the leader of this band
Mark Lindsay was not gay!!!!
Bono on drums
Ouch.. I have heard cover bands do a better job than this current train wreck. This is realllly not a Good thing.
The lead singer is no Mark Lindsay!
