Seeing these talented young ladies is awe inspiring! Takes me back about 35 years to a girlfriend I had that surprised me with a shred of Guns and Roses Sweet Child of Mine. I didn't know she even had a guitar before she played that for me! She went on and on with riffs that she must've learned from Randy Rhodes. I sure miss my sweet Vikki!

They are all AMAZING. I can't even believe how amazing they are. Alexandra Zerbulgaria of Bulgaria for virtuosity (she's plays with incredible articulation for the speed shes doing it - she is obviously a professional) Ketona Renata of Hungrary for her joy of playing (her joy came through to me) Sylvya Boschiero of Italy is the most underrated from this video - go see her other cover videos. Somebody bought her the most expensive guitars too AMAZING tones and the one I'd most like to be in a band with! Sophie Lloyd of the UK for command of the music and the song (the wardrobe choice makes me sad) Olga Goreva of Russia has the coolest moment, at the very end with credits rolling. Check out the look on her face when she skips her pick. Rock and Roll baby! Tina S is underrepresented in this video. She is IMO the best all around and complete guitar player
Alan, why would Sophie Lloyd’s wardrobe choice make you sad? It made me ELATED!!! Not to mention that she is far and away THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GUITAR PLAYER IN THE WORLD!!!
I didn't make it past Sophie Lloyd, she is so smooth, wow! I am so impressed with her effortlessness of making love to that guitar like Gary Moore did. Different style, but from her soul like Gary.

Ayu is far better than some of the guitar players in American Bands. She is really Fab! Good Luck Ayu!
I have seen Tina S. play and she can play anything from Opera to Musicals to any Rock music song that has been ever made and make it look very simple to play in her way of playing without the theatrics of jumping around and the head shaking and the crazy movements to make you think that it's hard for to play any composed music of any kind. I would put her up against anyone playing Guitar today and she would do it just as good or better. This is a FACT!!!
Agree. Tina S is on another level. I check her channel but haven't seen any new stuff. I haven't been back in a yr or so now. Its like she came by, showed us what she had and left us wanting more. 😂 I believe she's to Humble and doesn't want the fan boi attention and probably busy with family now. Don't quote me though, as im guessing. But yeah, there was something different about her playing, I was trying to figure out what made her so good, but you nailed it for me. No jumping around or silly nonsense. Just pure raw understanding and dedication to the art. Cheers!

By someone making a compilation of their youtube vids? Uploader's sure as hell aren't paying royalties if having monitized this. No stage performances or albums coming from this, either. These are all extraordinary talents, each deserving *at the very least* to be paid a visit on each their own pages/channels. This is for lonely males wishing they had cool girlfriends playing the guitar and/or lonely females wishing they were someone else than they are. Jeez. Anyway. I'll go away now. I knew already clicking watching this would be a mistake.
I'm at Tina S. Are they in order? I can't wait to see/hear what's in store. Alizee. You are as passionate about excellent female performers as I am. I doubted your claim about Tina (for a second or so) back in the day. Wow. Was I wrong. I'm back. You have expanded the "Library". Different styles, different techniques. What a joy! The female guitarist is way underrated.
SHE'S UNIQUE AMONGST THIS GROUP OF VERY TALENTED LEAD GUITARISTS; WATCHING HERE FINGER MOVEMENTS WAS DIZZYING; THE GREATEST 🎸 GUITAR GODS JIMI HENDRIX & STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN WOULD BE AMAZED..

6:55 Laura Cox you absolutely KILLED Money for Nothing! That's one of the hardest songs to play. But I particularly enjoyed watching your picking hand on Going Down 7:22
There have always been Ladies that could rock a guitar or drums with the best in the business. Its long overdue that they're getting the recognition they've long deserved.
I was going to ask the same question. These girls are really good but Orianthi is on a whole different level. When you get artists like Richie Sambora, Michael Jackson, Slash, Carlos Santana and many more who really want to jam with her, you could easily make the statement she is #1.
Of course! I don't know why she is left out! I guess they don't want to include too many female rock guitarists just in case they aggravate conservative societies.
Orianthi is definitely on a whole different level, established and widely known in professional music. I think the title of the video should have been more like "The best damn female social media guitarists from around the world...." because that is how they have been noticed primarily.

Two words: Jennifer Batten! She was doing insane 8 finger tapping AND incorporating Bebop into her shredding back in the 80's. (Check out her 8 finger version of Flight of the Bumble Bee.) Nili Brosh and Melanie Faye are also amazing! Orianthi does her thing too, as well as Ashlee Juno. All of the young ladies here are very impressive though. I enjoyed 11 year old Ayu Gusfanz alot, and Nita Strauss always kicks ass.

I first saw this video about 6 months ago and I've been watching everything Ayu has put out since. She really is incredible. Only 11 in this and 17 now. And Sophie Lloyd was always a favorite too. And let's face it, they are all better than any of us will ever be!
@@AlizeeDefan Thanks for this beautiful collection, these girls are all extremely talented on the guitar. Now 5 years later, in case you should upload a new edition, I suspect you would include _Larissa Liveir_ from Brazil?
Tina is definitively the best of the best. The master of the masters. The ability to play fast is NOT everything. What really matters is the emotions of the player and the capacity to touch your soul and move your heart. In my opinion Tina has it all more then anyone else at her age.
are you serious?? TINA??? She has the personality and "emotions" of a DOORKNOB!! great player, but literally shows NO emotion, no soul, NOTHING. How on earth could you use THOSE words for Tina????
It's all good ! But, IMO it's neither nor on this so called greatest that should be. She's proven with countless hit songs and albums she's written and played with skills & emotion that's touched many with Magic Man,Crazy on You,Barracuda,Little Queen,Straight On,Dog & Butterfly,Never,These Dreams,What About Love,Alone,etc... That's the real traits of a great male or female guitarist! Just saying....
It's so exciting seeing this new generation of female guitarists arising! I've looked up most of their names on TH-cam and subscribed to their channels.
Tina shoulda played Dragon Force or Moonlight Sonata she absolutely rips the strings off of those. there's a spot in Herman's Dragon force toward the end that she must be playing 10 notes/second and it goes On.
Damn! Great way to wake up on a Saturday morning! One of the best has to be the 11 year old from Indonesia......all are talented, hope they're living their dreams!
She actually has the cleanest and most pronounced sound too, along with the best feel. Whether or not she is technically better that Tina S I don`t know. But for feel and clarity she is definitely the best.
@@myrddingwynedd2751 how could you think her clarity was any better than Sophie Lloyd?? I thought hers had the most clarity, and was also the most melodic.
Well all these girls are so Very talented, they are amazing but I only recognized one song, maybe I'm too old in the tooth, they were all so good I couldn't say which one was my favourite, they were all great
I agree, Tina S is head and shoulders above the others (who are all very talented in their own right) but Tina S doesn't have to have her assets on show to sell her talent or get views!
@@Drewboo1968 I guess not, I've never seen her "assets" and only seen her cover songs and maybe she's busy producing some original works but... IDK, nobody's seen her for years now.
@@burtpanzer she went off to school, works in the high tech industry now, can't remember doing what exactly but there's a good video here on TH-cam about her story, apparently someone convinced her that she couldn't earn a living making TH-cam videos, I guess she doesn't know The Dooo and the crazy amount's of money he rakes in off the videos he puts on here.
The best and coolest of all is, without comment, Sophie Lloyd, this is me as a former guitarist telling you all the young people. She has unlimited potential for artistry and virtuosity combined. Sooo hard to choose a favorite. Sophie Lloyd struck me as the most creative and the 11 yr old from Indonesia was amazing. Not to take away from any of the others. Thank you!
Hello Mr. Jack how are you doing 😊
Sophie Lloyd and Laura Cox as well as Indonesian young lady - extremely nice playing!
What should I say: You're all my #1 !! Music is no competition to me. I enjoy all musical creativity! Well done, ladies!
Impressive, I'm truly amazed . NEVER stop playing ladies. 🤘
Nice!
Aww, what a cute Story. 😍
Hello Mike McGown
how're you doing,
Your comment caught my attention and that is why I am reaching out to you.
Your fan love for me warms my heart, Thank you!
Ayu - Indonesia. 11-years-old. Seemed like a sweet kid that loved her music. Eleven. I was trading punches with street gangs. . . . She has a talent and a career ahead of her.
I hope she has a chance to make a career, she is so talented! Good luck to her!!!!!
agreed
You're still here to tell your story and leave great positive feedback. Find something you enjoy and pour your heart and soul into it. It's never too late to leave your mark brother.
Her sweeps are world class
So do you, go find it!!!
Awesome collection! That 11 year old from Indonesia made me cry she was so amazing! 😁💜🎸🇨🇦

Your fan love for me warms my heart, Thank you
They are all AMAZING. I can't even believe how amazing they are.
Alexandra Zerbulgaria of Bulgaria for virtuosity (she's plays with incredible articulation for the speed shes doing it - she is obviously a professional)
Ketona Renata of Hungrary for her joy of playing (her joy came through to me)
Sylvya Boschiero of Italy is the most underrated from this video - go see her other cover videos. Somebody bought her the most expensive guitars too AMAZING tones and the one I'd most like to be in a band with!
Sophie Lloyd of the UK for command of the music and the song (the wardrobe choice makes me sad)
Olga Goreva of Russia has the coolest moment, at the very end with credits rolling.
Alexandra Zerner isn't Bulgarian. She is from Brno, Czech Republic. You can find all the information on her web page: www.alexandrazerner.com/bio/.
Lots of great talent all of the ladies. Sophie Lloyd, so clear and to perfection just stood out.. Keep it up.
not to mention. i believe it says its her original song. double points.
She kills it. Flawlessly played and simply awesome !!
I believe she's to Humble and doesn't want the fan boi attention and probably busy with family now. Don't quote me though, as im guessing.
But yeah, there was something different about her playing, I was trying to figure out what made her so good, but you nailed it for me. No jumping around or silly nonsense. Just pure raw understanding and dedication to the art.
Cheers!

Hello how are you doing 😊
It's good to see the young ladies get the recognition they deserve 🤘🤘🤘
By someone making a compilation of their youtube vids? Uploader's sure as hell aren't paying royalties if having monitized this. No stage performances or albums coming from this, either. These are all extraordinary talents, each deserving *at the very least* to be paid a visit on each their own pages/channels. This is for lonely males wishing they had cool girlfriends playing the guitar and/or lonely females wishing they were someone else than they are. Jeez. Anyway. I'll go away now. I knew already clicking watching this would be a mistake.
hmmmn.
I liked all of them, they are just fantastic
Amazing Players, and some so young watching them master their art, priceless!!!!
The young girl playing the Pink Floyd song was just absolutely amazing. I mean they all were amazing but she really did a wonderful job with that
She has that smoothness that David Gilmour is renowned for, and threw in a bit of her own style that made it very special! Kudos!!!
SHE'S UNIQUE AMONGST THIS GROUP OF VERY TALENTED LEAD GUITARISTS; WATCHING HERE FINGER MOVEMENTS WAS DIZZYING; THE GREATEST 🎸 GUITAR GODS JIMI HENDRIX & STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN WOULD BE AMAZED..
That's Tina S.
Tina S. She the best imo
Hello Mr. Mark how are you doing 😊
Shout out to all the talented Ladies in this video. Sophie Lloyd has immense talent. The original piece she played on here was awesome.
Laura Cox nailed the Money For Nothing riff as well as anyone I've heard cover it. Bonus points for doing it with Knopfler's fingerpicking style.
That was very impressive. That's very advanced right hand technique
@@MrMd5555 Hello 300 BIAkout
how're you doing,
Your comment caught my attention and that is why I am reaching out to you.
Your fan love for me warms my heart, Thank you
Playing that riff the way she did is under appreciated.
This lady's are great, beautiful and a joy to watch. Hats off to them. 🙌👍😁🙏
As a 53 year old, it's great to see young people carrying on the torch of Rock Roll.
True really , really cool ...
As a 71 year old. This is still my music and the girls are great
Tina S in France nailed the Floyd. It isn't just technical excellence, she has the soul of it. That is all in the syncopation
6:55 Laura Cox you absolutely KILLED Money for Nothing! That's one of the hardest songs to play. But I particularly enjoyed watching your picking hand on Going Down 7:22
It's wonderful I'm a rocker from the 60s and I love heavy metal it's nice to see the young lady's shed
They’re awesome and I appreciate and respect the countless practice hours these ladies put in. That’s dedication in it’s purest form. Bravo! 👏
When you pack the field with the best....how can you rate just one. They were all fantastic. Unbelievable performances. Thanks for the show.
Get em !! girls you are all fantastic.
There have always been Ladies that could rock a guitar or drums with the best in the business. Its long overdue that they're getting the recognition they've long deserved.
word, man!
Absolutely blown away !!!! Wooow, sooo much talent. Everybody should watch this. Very inspiring. 😊
This is incomplete without Orianthi. She is one of the best.
I agree. She is an axe goddess.
I loved them all! Can't decide on a favorite. Glad to see the ladies keeping rock and rock kicking!

Hello Mr. Joe how are you doing 😊
Very well played ladies thank you all.
The best starts at 2:37. Beautiful clear notes. She is feeling it. Just awesome
I agree, her play was crisp and clear.

@@SamanthaFishfanspage I am doing great. Thanks for asking. Enjoyed the video very much. Was great thanks!
I watched that part 3 times. She's astonishing. Oh, the 3rd time I noticed she also plays guitar. 😊
Every one of them is fantastic as well as beautiful, I also like the fact that they don't throw all the theatrics in with it, they sit and focus on the jam🖒😎
No one kicks butt like Lots Ford great voice..and showmanship.
Sophie Lloyd is one of my favorites, but I like them all. It's hard to pick just one of them.
I first saw this video about 6 months ago and I've been watching everything Ayu has put out since. She really is incredible. Only 11 in this and 17 now. And Sophie Lloyd was always a favorite too. And let's face it, they are all better than any of us will ever be!
Ayu rocks
@@AlizeeDefan Thanks for this beautiful collection, these girls are all extremely talented on the guitar. Now 5 years later, in case you should upload a new edition, I suspect you would include _Larissa Liveir_ from Brazil?
Alexandra from Bulgaria is the best 8 sting player I've ever seen, it's twice as hard to play an 8 string. A most excellent job.
Yes, it sure is ... and she is master at it 🤘
Alexandra Zerner isn't Bulgarian. She is from Brno, Czech Republic. You can find all the information on her web page: www.alexandrazerner.com/bio/.
That young girl from Indonesia could play a mean solo. She has Spider fingers!! She should start a group called Tarantula!!
she is the best.
Tina is definitively the best of the best. The master of the masters. The ability to play fast is NOT everything. What really matters is the emotions of the player and the capacity to touch your soul and move your heart. In my opinion Tina has it all more then anyone else at her age.
not long ago Carlos Santana said the same thing about playing guitar; feel the emotions and the guitar will follow...
are you serious??
Quite agree....she is the chosen one alright. Her collection of videos is astounding.
@@enforcerjj2943 It's not a fkn soap opera idiot, listen to the emotion in her MUSIC....
It's so exciting seeing this new generation of female guitarists arising! I've looked up most of their names on TH-cam and subscribed to their channels.
Laura Cox you guys tell her that I'm the one! I love this woman!!!!
All of the ladies were perfect.thank you for the video
This is my favorite song by Pink Floyd. She does a might fine job on the guitar! Hey Cheers to her and to Pink Floyd!
Tina shoulda played Dragon Force or Moonlight Sonata she absolutely rips the strings off of those. there's a spot in Herman's Dragon force toward the end that she must be playing 10 notes/second and it goes On.
They are all so amazingly good - especially the young lady from Indonesia!
Agreed
Like the best? Are you kidding? They are all fantastic, no way could I pick one that I thought was the best.
You're the best!
No
Mom, 'Ayu, don't forget to smile when you shred sweetheart'. Priceless!
7:24 - Great tone right here. All kinds of great playing in this video.
a lot of skillful hand work. The 11 years old lady impressed me.
Damn! Great way to wake up on a Saturday morning! One of the best has to be the 11 year old from Indonesia......all are talented, hope they're living their dreams!
The girl from Indonesia was unreal!.
I was stunned!
The one at 5:15 for her vibrato on the top of a bend with simultaneous guitar face (because it really does hurt). Strongest hands of the lot!
What's her name?
I am awe struck by all these insanely talented ladies!!!❤❤❤
Sophie Lloyd is going to be famous, only a matter of time, the classical training mixed with blues is perfect..Randy Rhodes had that style...
My thoughts exactly!!
Folks, Sophies got that fat tone that seems to add to her Secret Sauce.
The David Gilmour solo is one of the best anyway. Great one to pick. That solo has so so so much feeling in it to begin with. She pays it justice !!
What will by female with David Gilmour

I've been a fan of Tina S since she was a kid. I am now a fan of all of them. Truly gifted young ladies. Glad I play drums.....
u seen yoyoko from Japan? xD... 11 yrs old and plays drums better than the bands that wrote the songs xD
Well all these girls are so Very talented, they are amazing but I only recognized one song, maybe I'm too old in the tooth, they were all so good I couldn't say which one was my favourite, they were all great
They're all wonderfully talented, but TINA S. will shred them to pieces with flawless perfection.
@@burtpanzer she went off to school, works in the high tech industry now, can't remember doing what exactly but there's a good video here on TH-cam about her story, apparently someone convinced her that she couldn't earn a living making TH-cam videos, I guess she doesn't know The Dooo and the crazy amount's of money he rakes in off the videos he puts on here.
have you checked out sophie on youtube.
Exactly right! Plenty of good shredders here, but very few that can play the style of David Gilmour and his god-like precision and clarity.
Nita Strauss. All around best. Not just technical. Pure Skill and Alice Cooper should be proud to have her in his band. She makes all the difference.
He had A Great one one before her too Orthoni and Nina's BFf are good to Courtney Cox,Nikki Stringfield
Laura Cox is the best for me. Maybe "Money For Nothing" is one of my favorites
The best and coolest of all is, without comment, Sophie Lloyd, this is me as a former guitarist telling you all the young people. She has unlimited potential for artistry and virtuosity combined. And she does it so expertly and naturally, I'm just for her. After all, she is from England, the origins of rock. This is an indisputable fact🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎵🎵🎵🎵
