The rainbow bracelet is the end of all the transformation sequences
Jerry Rivera-Mozqueda no he probably saw it at the end of the cideo
Agread
It's even in this video at 30:47
@Jerry Rivera-Mozqueda well i mean, i haven't played the game in months and i recognized it when i saw it... it's just a matter of whether or not someone has played the part where it is and remembers that it's there. I personally think the transformation sequences are some of the best parts of the game, so of course I would remember the rainbow bracelet.
At least some people know
Oh wow! Some of those later test levels actually look BETTER than the levels found in the final game!

@Watson Kolton thanks! all my fucking data got stolen!!! :omegatroll:
9:28 that kanji 仮 means temporary which is pronounced “Kari”. This was used in a lot of games for testing.
"WaraWara" is the name of the plaza that shows on your TV on the Wii U menu, with all the Miis and stuff. Maybe a Yoshi version of it was planned, like the Animal Crossing one, but then got scrapped? That would've been really cool
Seems likely!
@@TetraBitGaming That would have been pretty nice, it's a shame they didn't do it. I wonder why it's a test area in the game though
:T
Maybe it could've had an option to move yoshi around and interact with other people
9:31 i assume thats a placeholder image, cause that is the Kanji for "Kari" or "Temporary"
5:42
it’s used in The 3DS version.
Yes,it’s a loading screen.
It's also used sometimes for the Wii U as well
Project Z 10
Yeah, I only had it on the Wii U, and remember that, I don’t even know the normal one, as I haven’t played it in a while
Might play it again, it was a good game
THANK YOUI
@@rosebud6116 lol I was saying thank you to the comment
5:18 Fun Fact: These are actually different pitched versions of the sound effect used when Yoshi jumps into a level.
5:36 I think is also the sound used when using the "Clear the Level" badge.
9:15 This may have been used to test the wave platforms (what I like to call them)
10:52 were probably used to test the bonus games.
17:59 Those rainbow rings were used in the transformation parts.
18:42 is definitely used in one of the special levels.
This is underrated
Thanks. When I was younger I played this game A LOT, so that's how I know a lot of stuff about the game.
Other fun fact: The loading, and the victory screen sounds are both used in game
As much as I love this game, I can’t help but imagine if the game had some of the early features like turning from a yarn outline to a full yoshi, or shifting perspective or parts of the level that you go in and out of the foreground.
10:35
We don't need a name. It already has one.
BITBOB RETURNS!

Happy wool name idea: floofla. Also the rainbow bracelet is use in the transformation minigame in some of the levels and the "bun bun tuh duh dun" is when you transform its with the first one.(that last one is s thinker because I haven't plsyed it in a long time.)

The "unused" loading theme is used, it's just fairly quiet.
The unused Loading theme appeared in the 3DS version?
9:30 I thought you would know what the Kanji means based on the amount of time you spent on TCRF (it appears a lot in unused context). It means temporary
Interesting thanks
Was looking for this
30:47 I think I found that bracelet you were looking for
it is in world 1-4 on the 3ds version
Its also used as a yoshi transformation mini game, for the mini game's goal
Using some old screenshots, level names, and other tidbits you can kinda piece together what some of the dummy objects were/did.

20:07 Oh hey! This key lookd like the one in Super Mario Maker!
Its literally just knotwings fort in world two, just without textures.
I think the bracelet exists because Poochy levels were probably going to be included on the Wii U and the devs got up to making the bracelet. They probably then decided to hold it until the 3DS port where they re-used it for a beta or something, and then removed it entirely
A"mii"gurumi. Genius! I wish they'd put that in the new Switch game.

@@brobgonalscratchcatXD Why not dumbass that’s an actually good idea
18:02 The goal ring is actually seen in the Yoshi transformed bonus stages.
19:20 that thing in the corner looks like kirb. Kirb confirmed.
Ok. I did see Cut Content on "The Cut Content Of (TCCO)" but I never got to see the unused/unseen test rooms. And my goodness that's a lot of test rooms.
A+start also made a video of this
The Rainbow Bracelet is for the transformation sections of the level.
11:52 test_warawara01 and test_warawara02 are not for cutscenes. They’re were planning on having an in-game WaraWara Plaza.
Ok first, I don’t know if the game went through an update, but the red coin sound at 5:19 is actually used when the player selects a stage, the “end level sound” at 5:37 is actually used when someone beats a level for the first time, and represents when someone is already back on the map, shaking the enemies out of the fortress by stomping on it, the loading sound at 5:47 is actually the real loading sound now, and at the “sun enemies” at 10:40 are actually used and are called snag-stitches- oh one more thing. The rainbow bracelet at 17:59 is used when you complete a sub area that transforms yoshi, like when he turns into an umbrella
the rainbow thingy is used changing yoshi's form as the goal (its even seen in the video at 30:47. c'mon you may need some sleep)
love that someone beat me to the letting him know about the bracelet as watching i was thinking i know ive seen that before then it shows up at the end of the video lol

or maybe the "epic_yarn_kirby" file was kirby's epic yarn levels ported BUT also including NEW levels for a discontinued DLC for Yoshi's epic yarn where you can also play as kirby as a crossover DLC with some kirby's epic yarn enemies
Overwhelming
13:36 UU U'VE BEEN GNOMED
Well now I’m just mad that the game took a different turn into “yoshi’s island, now with yarn!” That house and more crafty looking athstetic looked way cooler and would’ve given the game much more of an identity.
3:53 Isn’t that the same background as the photo channel on the wii?
So the majority of those test maps were actually cleared correctly, however the nature of data oriented reference structures with hashing means they could not be trivially cleared without interrupting others work. Which generally reflects in stuff like this showing :p
Additionally, something thats really important in ECS generally is that entity compnent properties are unable to be effectively disassociated with the map entities, which means in a lot of those empty levels aren't likely empty, they were likely set up for quick actor tests by character art.
18:06 that is in the 3ds port as a mini game
I name the red balloon: “Zwobble”
I hope you like it!
Tetrabitgaming: How many test rooms do you have?
Yoshi’s Woolly World: Y E S
Edit: There were some grammar and spelling errors.
This is one of my favorite lost bit episode! Maybe you can do Kirby's Epic Yarn Lost Bits????????
This whole video is WOOLY fun to watch!
You should of said... "Now it is wolly time to find some lost bits" at 1:05
The wool and hearts mean the things you can buy with gems like extra health an 100% chance of big wool and the level you did not know is 2-2 and the rainbow bracelet is from when you beat transformation areas
16:15 is a Castle level of Yoshis Island (SNES), to be excact: Marching Milde's Fort
👍
Holy crud. Good find
“Donkey cam” is probably referring to how little bowser calls Yoshi a “gween donkey” in Y.I.
good reference 😂
Just picked this game up on clearance from Walmart, looking forward to it.
I'm not 100% sure but "Normal Cube" and "Basic" could be lighting types.
5:34 - 5:46 Those sound effects ARE actually used. The first one plays when you use the clear course badge. The second is very faint during that loading screen were yarn balls and buttons can be seen rolling on a piece of string. So yea :3
Hmmmmm.....How about a name for the lad, “Bobby the Balloon” or “Baltimore the Balloon” or plain ol’ “Bally the Balloon”.
仮 reads KARI which means "temporary"

Now that I really look at it, it does look like it could be a stage in Smash.
Yo that scrapped yoshi style gameplay near the beginning gives me nostalgia
23:05 - the light test room is testing reflections. Basic and cube map reflections

I’m pretty sure that the rainbow bracket is used for the end of the transformation stages. I haven’t played YWW in a while, but I do remember that in the game somewhere.
17:58 the braselet is at the end of transformation minigames
3:24 Kirby had a little too many cigarettes
Honestly the red coin ascending sound still exits in a way, well only the first clip of it.
The only way I was able to find it in game was when entering a level as it plays the first ascend sound effect before it starts loading.
5:32
That sound is (or at least sounds like) the sound used when you clear a stage with the instant clear power badge
the loading theme is the same one used in game, but the one in game is pretty quiet, and used while loading a stage only, not in boss fight loading, or game loading

Yoshi is a dragon
KobaYOSHI dragon maid.
Just wanted to throw this out there, I think it would have been cool if they would have combined the first idea and last idea, where they had Yoshi start in a realistic house as someone's art project, then as you played through the game, it slowly transitioned to stages that were more completely made of wool, paper, clay, etc almost like a child is imagining the story and as you play through the game their imagination is coming out more and more and getting more vivid.
I also think they should have kept it where it was an epic yarn style yoshi that could then turn into the bigger yoshi by eating a shy guy or something to power up
4:19 “Amiigurumi”
10:35 I think that's Balllony Von Hellium boi
9:27 It says "Kari" or temporary :)
18:12 if I remember correctly, it's used to mark the end of transformation sections.
The loading sound IS used, it's just quiet in game.
