5:18 Fun Fact: These are actually different pitched versions of the sound effect used when Yoshi jumps into a level. 5:36 I think is also the sound used when using the "Clear the Level" badge. 9:15 This may have been used to test the wave platforms (what I like to call them) 10:52 were probably used to test the bonus games. 17:59 Those rainbow rings were used in the transformation parts. 18:42 is definitely used in one of the special levels.
"WaraWara" is the name of the plaza that shows on your TV on the Wii U menu, with all the Miis and stuff. Maybe a Yoshi version of it was planned, like the Animal Crossing one, but then got scrapped? That would've been really cool
@TetraBitGaming you like test rooms a lot if you could in any test room for life which one it be assuming you still access to your room and access to Internet to still upload videos,in there and you have shed to grow food
Happy wool name idea: floofla. Also the rainbow bracelet is use in the transformation minigame in some of the levels and the "bun bun tuh duh dun" is when you transform its with the first one.(that last one is s thinker because I haven't plsyed it in a long time.)
@Jerry Rivera-Mozqueda well i mean, i haven't played the game in months and i recognized it when i saw it... it's just a matter of whether or not someone has played the part where it is and remembers that it's there. I personally think the transformation sequences are some of the best parts of the game, so of course I would remember the rainbow bracelet.
As much as I love this game, I can’t help but imagine if the game had some of the early features like turning from a yarn outline to a full yoshi, or shifting perspective or parts of the level that you go in and out of the foreground.
The unused Loading theme appeared in the 3DS version? 9:30 I thought you would know what the Kanji means based on the amount of time you spent on TCRF (it appears a lot in unused context). It means temporary

7:00 Oh look! This test room looks like a real level that ended up in the final game I've got to play! 20:07 Oh hey! This key lookd like the one in Super Mario Maker!
Ok first, I don’t know if the game went through an update, but the red coin sound at 5:19 is actually used when the player selects a stage, the “end level sound” at 5:37 is actually used when someone beats a level for the first time, and represents when someone is already back on the map, shaking the enemies out of the fortress by stomping on it, the loading sound at 5:47 is actually the real loading sound now, and at the “sun enemies” at 10:40 are actually used and are called snag-stitches- oh one more thing. The rainbow bracelet at 17:59 is used when you complete a sub area that transforms yoshi, like when he turns into an umbrella
All those kill switches might be replacing the 'level layer' switch, since most of those instances look like they could transition to another layer of the level.
Ok. I did see Cut Content on "The Cut Content Of (TCCO)" but I never got to see the unused/unseen test rooms. And my goodness that's a lot of test rooms.
So the majority of those test maps were actually cleared correctly, however the nature of data oriented reference structures with hashing means they could not be trivially cleared without interrupting others work. Which generally reflects in stuff like this showing :p Additionally, something thats really important in ECS generally is that entity compnent properties are unable to be effectively disassociated with the map entities, which means in a lot of those empty levels aren't likely empty, they were likely set up for quick actor tests by character art.

5:34 - 5:46 Those sound effects ARE actually used. The first one plays when you use the clear course badge. The second is very faint during that loading screen were yarn balls and buttons can be seen rolling on a piece of string. So yea :3
or maybe the "epic_yarn_kirby" file was kirby's epic yarn levels ported BUT also including NEW levels for a discontinued DLC for Yoshi's epic yarn where you can also play as kirby as a crossover DLC with some kirby's epic yarn enemies
Well now I’m just mad that the game took a different turn into “yoshi’s island, now with yarn!” That house and more crafty looking athstetic looked way cooler and would’ve given the game much more of an identity.
The wool and hearts mean the things you can buy with gems like extra health an 100% chance of big wool and the level you did not know is 2-2 and the rainbow bracelet is from when you beat transformation areas
18:00 I’m pretty sure that the rainbow bracket is used for the end of the transformation stages. I haven’t played YWW in a while, but I do remember that in the game somewhere.
test_warawara The term Wara(わら)(笑) in Japanese refers to laughing. It can also be shortened as the letter "w". In Japanese streams or chats, an example would be: "あのモデルさんたちは私には面白そうに見えるんだけどww" I'm quite curious as to why the developers thought the models were funny.
Corrections for the Wii U version: The first red coin sound is used when Yoshi becomes a yarn ball and jumps into a level. WSD_LODING is used when loading a level. The rainbow bracelet is used as the goal in the the special/transformation stages. Thank you so much for doing this video, Yoshi’s Woolly World is my favorite Wii U game and maybe my favorite game ever so thank you so much.
