- Hi folks! 🪕🪲 Here is my clawhammer take on Angeline the Baker 🤎
"Angeline the Baker" is a traditional American folk song whose origins are somewhat obscure, as it evolved within the folk tradition rather than being penned by a single identifiable author. The song was popularized in the early 20th century by its inclusion in folk music collections.

Watching your videos makes me realize I don't got no banjo music in my playlist yet. I shall have to remedy that.
Most beautiful setting. The clouds shifted and gave you light directors dream of.
I take it that was an iPad you were looking at. :)
This song is an old chestnut that can sometimes get stale, but you’ve breathed new life into it.

Love the song and your rendition! However, the video description is incorrect. Angeline the Baker was written by Stephen Foster for the Christy Minstrels to perform in 1850. It has since been adapted many times, but it does have a well-documented origin as a minstrel show song.
A great performance Talise. As sweet as a nut.💖
I could play bass to this.
Wow!❤
