- Hey everyone! Another Thursday another clawhammer banjo cover 🪕🌞
I am a beginner harmonica player so might re-record this one when I get better hang of it 🤎
This is Springtime of Life by the amazing Ola Belle Reed off of her album Rising Sun Melodies. Ola Belle Reed was a prominent American folk and bluegrass musician born in 1916. She was known for her contributions to traditional Appalachian music. "Springtime of Life" is one of her well-known songs, reflecting themes of love and nature. Reed's music often captured the essence of rural life, and her legacy continues to influence contemporary folk and bluegrass artists.

Finally the youtube algorithm shows me a performer that I can be an early subscriber to before they blow up and get famous.
That is good

Many thanks!
Nicely done. Thank you for sharing your music!
Thanks for listening
It's been used to death, but the only true way to describe that vocal is Haunting. Your voice is perfectly suited to this song! Mournful and beautifully played and sang..... Your harp playing is very, very good for a beginner. Check out Juzzie Smith from Down Under for some harmonica inspiration. He has a talent for teaching.
Love your voice and the sound of the banjo so much. Best greetings from Germany
Thanks for listening🌸
sooooo damn good!
Thank you!!!❤
Wow, you're really wonderful
I'm usually a strictly strings only kinda guy, but you nailed this one.👏👏❤❤😁
Thank you!!!💛🦋
Cold snowy night here, perfect ambience for a cup of coffee spiked with Irish Whisky, and a song about springtime playing the background. Good stuff, and the harmonica was an awesome touch! Love your sweater, btw...gorgeous!
Great playing and beautiful singing!
Thanks so much!🌸
Very good sound and very good banjo player and good voice from France banjo oldtime

Oh yeah! Good job Talise! Another great cover of one of Ola Belle Reed’s classic! The addition of the harmonica really adds up to the success of that song. You’re truly making it yours! 😉
Thank you so much!!😊💗
Recently subscribed here. Excellent. Good song, singing and presentation. Good job you - and the harmonica was just fine!
Thank you for tuning in!❤ And (hopefully) only up from here with the harmonica
Bravo.
👍👍👍
You are really good. Julie here. Just subbed.
What key is your harmonica in?
What brand/key is the harmonica?
Pretty good old song, do you ever listen to any modern music like Billy Strings or Sierra Ferrell?
The harmonica is fine, it's a simple line anyway. I got one during the pandemic, never got comfortable with, them little holes are way to small and tongue blocking is the most awkward thing ever, i'm about to sell it.
Lovely!
Thank you❤
