Yeah...ok. Listen to the original then this and I think you'll find it an exact copy not for not of the lead guitar part. Nothing in this was original or "Made his own"
Sorry, but I didn’t say they duplicated or improved it. I cannot speak for these artists, but I doubt they were trying to “ duplicate or improve “ the song, but rather playing it in their own style which they did very well. In this way people who like Bluegrass can enjoy and find appreciation for the song.
Wow. W-O-W. W.O.W. Did I say 'WOW'?! Great rendition, there is a lot of individual details that each musician contributed, making this a unique version of this awesome song.
Do you ever listen to The Dead South, Gangstagrass or The Devil Makes Three? I am a metal head that also loves rap but recently bluegrass, country and similar genres have been really impressing me. Those are a few bands I think are worth a listen.
@@xbrandi12345x I will check them out. I'm more metal and rock but like upbeat music. You may like Ghost Hounds. Awesome vocals from lead singer. Greta Van Fleet is one of my favorite new Rock bands with an old sound. Thank you, Rock on!
The voice of an angel. So beautiful. I imagine hearing this on the porch at sunset with a glass of ice cold sweet tea. Watching the sun go down. Pure peace.
I knew young folks in the 90s from the old time / country / gospel crowds who were messing around with the intro parts of this during practice. It was fun, and it was funny, but nobody gave serious thought to actually playing the song. If they had it would have been met like Dylan going electric. So glad THIS is back, and it deserves a permanent place in the TH-cam covers Hall of Fame. Kudos also to the sound engineers & camera / video folks who dreamed this up, in this setting, and made it happen! It’s like Foxes & Fossils playing in parking lots & then some.
Yes, It would have SURELY been like Bob Dylan 'plugging in'. All mainstream Country & Gospel bands would only do Rock-N-Roll covers from that point on !
My husband and I went through Helene in our home in Pisgah Forest, NC. Thankful for praying friends and family and God’s faithfulness as we had minimal damage to our home and property. However, seeing and experiencing the damage, pain and resourcefulness of those around us has been humbling. Thank you to the first responders and those who have donated goods and time to those impacted. You are truly the hands and feet of Jesus ♥️🙌
This is incredible. I found this when I was in the middle of my chemo and it was so uplifting. I could listen to Erinn sing the phone book, her voice is so amazing.
I wish you well and whole, and hope that cancer finds the cells of your body to be so intolerable a host that it never comes back. I also urge you to look into two drugs you will never hear a chemo salesman say out loud. The first is an -azole antifungal by the name of fenbend-, and the second starts with iver- and rhymes with pectin. Both have shown miraculous results when used in studies to treat cancers, but big pharma would risk losing their top money makers if they let word get out. I am neither a doctor or a cancer expert, but it is in my own best interest to promote and support free informed choice for everyone. I do this by sharing less circulated information. I will leave it up to you to decide if it is in your interest to check into it. Cheers!
there are some beautiful covers of this song out there and, this version might be my fave. It is dynamic, energetic, and insanely cool. Brings me to a sweet safe place...
Complete reinvention of this song for me!!! Thank you. I’ve heard a million covers of this song, including several Nashville covers , and this is by far the best. Love
Stunning Vocals, Musicianship, and Melodic Atmospheric Magic sprinkled throughout. Keep your musical fires burning bright folks. Thank You Kindly for this tune.
My favorite version of this song is Axel Rose in his heyday, when he was in his prime. But I love this bluegrass version, and her voice is soft and sweet - you carried it off well!
What a PLEASURE!!! Smooth.........solid.........tight........captivating........exciting.......too much FUN!!! What a ride!!! Congratulations! Thank you, and Godspeed.
I found it around 6 years ago while doing cover search on yt for my favorite g and r song. I would guess 6 years. But it was lost and gone for the last 3 years maybe ? Ah.. look in the description 😂 it has been recorded in late 2017 😂❤
I grew up with songs like Rocky Top, Old Time Rock n Roll, Roll n My Sweet Baby's Arms. This genre brings back so many memories. Thank you Erinn, Ian, Christopher and Dylan for the memories. You definitely have yourself a subscriber. ♥️

this dang cover made me remember the 80's and 90's when this was the life ... i always wanted, but never had. beautiful country, fresh air, great music, and friends to share it with. I WAS This CLOSE. 👼🏼👼🏼😞😞😭😭

this is terrific. it reminds me of back in the day i would mix in some bluegrass covers of classic rock songs from hendrix, clapton, others. it's like hearing the song for the first time again.
So glad that they gave the mandolin player his own mic for this performance! --what an unbelievable collection of talent, including even the filmmaker and sound guy Kyle; who is himself a musician.
Mandolin player exceeded expectations, not only nailed every part, but made it his own! Bravo!
Yeah...ok. Listen to the original then this and I think you'll find it an exact copy not for not of the lead guitar part. Nothing in this was original or "Made his own"

You must be fun at parties..
Hard to imagine a Bluegrass cover of this song….. until you hear it! These folks are very talented and did a great job !!
Sorry , they cannot improve or even duplicate the original by GNR!
I had the same thought...didn't think it would work, but this could've easily been a hit song on the country charts.
Playing with these instruments doesn't make it bluegrass. They're still playing it exactly the same.

Love seeing young Musicians keeping these old songs alive. Great Job!
Man, thinking of Sweet chile of mine as an old song make me feel...old.
Old?
WHY?
A beautiful cover, but not an old song! Wait a few hundred years. They will still be listening! Taylor Who???
I’m 58… and remember being blown away the first time I heard G&R play this song… it just happens again… wonderful.
Me to 76 and still love rock
Wow. W-O-W. W.O.W. Did I say 'WOW'?!

WOW!..no amps...no light show..just pure good singin and playin. Thanks.
I grew up with Guns & Roses music. This song is part of the soundtrack to my childhood, and y'all did it complete justice. I'm so glad I clicked.
Sort of stumbled upon this video. Glad I did. What a beautiful voice! I really like this rendition.
I also did was watching football and I seen this and I never click on anything
Same here. I love this version. Top notch. Bluegrass lol, who would've thought.
Amazing! Loved this song when it first came out, at 25. Now I am 60 and blown away all over again. THANK YOU! ❤
62 this year . Never a big gun n roses fan , but loved this song. Now i find this version , just killer.
Ditto! ❤🎉
Beautiful production all around. Everything was top-damn-notch.
This proves that good music never gets old.
that voice.... a little tear drop formed, no song has ever done that
Best acoustic cover of this song I have ever heard.
The only way it should be sang lol ❤️😊
Love how slide guy gets in to it second half!
Man, that voice is amazing! Very clear and clean, sounded like perfect pitch to me.
Her voice is so clean and flows. Band is killing it
This! This right here! Real people playing real music.
DANG! By far my one of the best bluegrass covers of all time .
Appetite for Destruction was one of the best albums of all time
Every single song nocked it out of park.
🤘My all time #1 favorite! Back in the days before CD's (LOL🤣) I wore out 5 cassettes! (yeah I'm old) Went through 3 cd's due to college partys too!
Thank you, Guns and roses for covering the greatest blue grass song 🤘🤘 😉 this is amazing. Love her voice
This was an amazing display of talent and I was completely blown away.
love hearing stuff that isn't drowned out by effects
That dude on mandolin!!! Whole band is awesome!!!
Her voice is like a knife ! It just cuts through and resonates so well
I agree, this version is pure and simple....the genuine article and the singer is crystal clear country. Oh, yeh!
The voice of an angel. So beautiful. I imagine hearing this on the porch at sunset with a glass of ice cold sweet tea. Watching the sun go down. Pure peace.
I was not impressed by the instrumentals on this, but damn, she's got a great voice!
That grin on the bassist's face as the camera pans up at the end... it's like he knew they nailed that take. It was a smile of satisfaction. :)
good catch
Fantastic to see this again, they did an awesome job Erinns voice is amazing!!
Indeed!
Yeah ! I am glad somebody uploaded it again ! I was doing research over the last years to find it again. It’s best cover ever.
I didn't have Bluegrass "Sweet Child O' Mine" cover on my bingo card today, but THIS is really good!
Delighted to see this back up where it belongs - An absolute benchmark performance! : )
So true ! I missed it so much over the years. Happy to see it uploaded again. It’s best cover ever.
And the Angel Of The Lord spake, and with the voice of a thousand waters she sang Sweet Child O' Mine

Every song sounds better as a bluegrass cover. And through the instrumentation reveals the root origin of the song itself.
NO EVERY SONG SOUNDS WORSE! To paraphrase Hank Hill, "You're not making rock and roll better, you're just making bluegrass worse."
The best cover of this song I've ever heard. Thank you!
This is great... but I like the Scary Pockets version myself. Check it out if you haven't seen it.
Agreed! It was gone and not available for over 5 years. Happy to see it back.

Great stuff! Our son used to fall asleep to this song when he was a baby in '89. A born rocker. This band does this song justice.
Always the best. You go, girl.
That was amazing and I love her voice. Each member was awesome and the instruments compliment each other. Great Band!
Bloody marvellous, absolute treat for the ears
