This video has helped me tremendously! I was wearing a heavy duty wrist brace at work, in addition to taping both wrists and wearing a lighter duty wrist brace on my left wrist. After two weeks practice with your video, I no longer need the heavy duty brace or to tape the wrists!! (I do still use a light wrap on both wrists for general support, but 99% of the pain I was feeling has disappeared)! Thank you so very much...Amazing 🤩
I love this video so much! It's so helpful, and your advice about relaxing my shoulder. It's like you're reading my mind better than I can. You rock!!!
If you're here looking through the comments and try to see if this is really going to help, it does. My wrists were super weak that I couldn't do the last two poses even with easy versions. Now I can complete the video and I don't feel pain during my normal yoga practice. Thanks Kassandra!
I was in the same spot as you a few months ago. I used this video to recover from a wrist injury from playing guitar. I still do the upside down hand finger stretch as a warm up before I start playing.
I have been suffering with wrist and thumb pain for many months. Once I started doing this yoga video daily, my wrist pain has been 98% relieved. It has been absolutely wonderful.
I'm a tattoo artist and this video has definitely helped save my wrists at the end of a long day, I shared it with some of my coworkers too and they say it's done wonders for them as well. Thank you!
Guys, this is the best stretching video for the carpal tunnel syndrome I've come across. Been following the stretches for two weeks and starting to notice major improvement in the way my hands feel. Even if you don't feel immediate relief, keep going every day and sooner or later, you'll notice improvement as well. Before I started doing this routine, my pinky fingers as well as wrists were a complete mess. That was a particular discomfort considering the fact that I work on the computer every day. Now these areas are getting stronger every day, and forearms as well. It would be great to also have a tutorial for stretching shoulders - when the tension from working at a desk manifests there as well.
I have been waking up with knives in my hands, feeling like my bones are being ripped out through my elbows, and after about a week of doing this video multiple times, I was able to turn my hands all the way backwards. It was impossible and excruciating the first time I tried even halfway. :,) My hands are so much better. I can't believe it.
Anybody still here? The computer mouse at work use has been hurting my fingers. This video helped a lot. I'll need to come back soon. Thank you Kassandra.
I do like this class very much! I like your reminders (for example, "relax the shoulders"), like you know that I'm tensing them. I also like the breathing reminders, and I think you have a great way of explaining, and giving imagery to the instructions :) thank you!
Her reminders are just like my yoga instructor does..and my instructor has trained with the best for years including going to China twice. I attend class, virtual right now due to COVID, but having the specific yoga stretches for wrists will be a Godsend I'm sure!
This just cleared up a palm cramp that was so bad i was in tears! Thank you so much Kassandra, every time I do a new video of yours the feeling is indescribable
My husband and I started your 30days yoga challenge during our quarantine last year, and it became our daily routine ever since. I’m a violinist, so these kind of stretch helps my pain in my wrists, neck, and shoulder! Thank you!!
You are the best, Kassandra. This is one of the most beneficial stretching routines anywhere for hands and wrists! Thank you so much for all that you do.
hiya, just discoverd your video, i'm an administrator/secretary and suffer badly with RSS - already loving the feel of this in my hands and arms thankyou
Of the 330,000+ views as of Aug 6, 2020 of this 4 1/2 year old video, I'm convinced I've watched it 300,000 times. It's such a beneficial sequence and your instruction is perfect.
I had an accident and glass severed my tendons and nerves in my 5th finger of the left hand, so surgery was performed on June 1st, and I really needed help with stretching those fingers (minus the pinky until able), but my Occupational Therapist (OT) would not provide these exercises, so I really want to thank you Kassandra for putting this online! I now have bone-on-bone at my thumb and the arthritis has been so unbearable they gave me an injection Tuesday, but I still have pain whenever moving those joints. My poor OT has had to splint his index finger from all the pressure of massaging my scar tissue in the finger because the scar tissue is out of control. We are working to get it removed without surgery, which looks like it will be needed, if we are not successful.
I repeat this video regularly when my hand and wrists are feeling stiff, it’s helps so much Thankyou 🥰 I hope your having a great summer break kassandra! Can’t wait to see you back online 💚🌸
Kassandra! 😂 It kills me every time you say "so my wrists are pretty good" so confidently. It used to really get to me because of my physical inabilities, but now that I've followed you for nearly 4 years, whenever I go back to this video it makes me laugh out loud. Love you!!!
thank you, I am a knife sharpener, old school, I use Japanese water stones. long story short; cold water and the repetitive motion are tough on my hands. I've done yoga for the other parts of my body but it hadn't occurred to me that there could be yoga that would address many hand issues. And there you are !! I've just got off my Sunday market and followed you AND MY HANDS FEEL SOOOOO MUCH BETTER, IMMEDIATELY !
I broke my wrist back in mid-March and wore a cast until the start of June, I didn’t do too much with my wrists all summer, up til now (late September/ start of October). These stretches made me realize how weak my wrist has become.
I love this video! I've worked in an office setting for years, as well as a very hands-on setting as a special Ed teacher. I still work part time in special Ed and do some light weight training, and I'm quite prone to both wrist and elbow problems. All of those activities are hard on my wrists. I've got some tendinitis happening in my right elbow, and this video really helps my wrists and even my elbow a little bit. I've injured and then re-injured my wrist twice in the last 2 years (becoming more of a carpal tunnel issue now) and this video helped me recover very quickly every time. Now I still use it to try to stay ahead of any more injuries. We all know we're doing fine motor activities all day one way or another, so really I think everyone would benefit from this video. I "nag" my husband to do it now and then too. Thank you so much!
girl thank you! I am a massage therapist and muay thai fighter and holy cow, my arms get used so much! I can feel how this is going to actively prevent injuries and issues for me. Thank you so much!
As a Licensed Massage Therapist for 5 years I truly love you and appreciate you ! You’ve saved my hands / forearms so I can work in this field longer ! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
I've been doing physical therapy for 2 months and have been seeing slight improvement but to be honest I feel like this tutorial made such a huge difference for me! I really appreciate your help Kassandra ❤
Thank you!!! I am a tattoo artist and have been so fearful of overextending my fingers and thumbs during hours-long sessions of drawing, poking and stretching skin. this made my entire hand and forearm immediately feel so much better. i really appreciate you sharing this!
I went off a tobogganing jump about 13 years a go and landed on my wrist causing the bone to crack. My wrist never healed properly and to this day it continues to give me trouble and frequently goes out of joint. Your yoga for wrists video has been my saving grace and is the only thing that seems to help! Thank you so much I've been loving the stretches :)
my grandma had arthritis, my mom and sister have carpal tunnel. i’m experiencing the symptoms so i really appreciate this video. my intention is to do this twice a day bc i know i can naturally cure my body. thank you 💜
I'm so grateful to find your classes, Kassandra. You have such a wealth of different focuses, easily searchable and always a pleasure to take part in. Thank you so much. x
You yogi angel you! After this stretch the pain I had in my right hand lessened substantially! You are a saint, if you can please do more of these kinds of videos. Us IT people need it desperately
Ive been doing these stretches multiple times a day when my wrist and forearms have pain and become tight. Previously I suffered for months on end until the pain finally resolved only to be injured again. Doing these stretches have been a lifesaver! Thanks kassandra!!!!!!
thanks a million for this video. I am a 27yr old freelance hairdresser and love Pilates. my hands and wrists are my livelihood. But the usage usage of my wrists has been quite painful, specially at night. thank u for your positive video. I like that u said breath into it. very positive. thank you
This is a really effective exercise. I injured my wrists doing a yoga video from another instructor, and over time my wrists and palms became tense. It didn't help that I write a lot and work on the computer. The pain was getting too much, so ofcourse I turned to Kassandra as always. Have done this video thrice so far, and my hands and wrists definitely feel better! Highly recommend this
I'm an artist and the more I drew, the worse my tendonitis got. At one point it hurt to even hold a fork so I had to eat left handed for a while to let myself recover. I'm halfway through the video and my wrist feels the best that it has since middle school. Maybe its because I've done some arm strengthening exercises that resemble some of these but either way, I just feel really good now!
Just got a job at a bakery and after 2 weeks my dominant hand is constantly going numb, after your yoga session I could tell a difference and I plan on doing this session regularly to help!!! Thanks so much!
Oh my gosh. I have had bad shoulder/wrist/arm pain since 2011~ from drawing under my desk at high school all the time and a couple years ago had to pretty much stop my art and so much other stuff it got so bad. No PT I went to could figure it out or anything like wrist braces, stretching, seeing doctors, and I just got finished with this for the first time (I’ve done many of your other videos and already you were the only yogi I ever came back to and could finish the video of). I’m rambling. Anyways my wrist feels so much stronger just from once thru this video I cannot wait to make this practice a daily addition to my life. You were meant to teach yoga, thank you so much for sharing!! ❤️🥹 you have truly changed my world and life experience.
I am 30 and I have horrible carpal tunnel! I do this video (a long with a yoga video) every morning. It helps me get started for the day! My hands are so numb and painful in the morning and this helps so much! Thank you soooooo much for this!
I've been suffering from RSI in both my arms and wrist for the past year and after a week of your exercises, this has reduced my RSI issues. Many Thanks for your great videos :)
I've been noticing some discomfort in my wrists because I play volleyball and its a lot of wrist movements. Found this video, did the stretches, and now my team and I do these moves before every game and practice! Thank you Kassandra!
Really does wonder for massage therapists. I've come back to this time and time again after a long week at work. It helps a lot. Thanks for all you do in this community!
I couldn't put any pressure on my palm while doing another yoga class with Kassandra and then did this- wow, what a help! Adding this to my daily list of musts -- I am struggling with carpal tunnel in both wrists and tennis elbows adding to that. Thank you so much Kassandra!
O. M. G. Thank you sooooo much for doing this video! I am a dentist and am constantly looking for hand, neck and back yoga videos. This hand stretch video is the best one I have come across on TH-cam! My hands feel so much better. Will be doing this everyday. ❤️
I do this everyday and my fingers and wrists are so much better. I use a computer with my job and pretty much write letters constantly so much needed after they get sore. Thank you.
As a new college grad starting my first grown up job typing all day it has really taken its toll on my poor little fingers and wrists. This video was of great help thank you!
Thank you Kassandra, it is so nice of you to take time and provide a free yoga practice for us to follow. My hands did feel better and I will be doing these stretches during breaks at work to keep them in healthy shape, hopefully. Namaste you beautiful yogi
Dearest darling Kassandra , thank you sooooooooo much i work alot with powertools as a carpenter and this helps so much . much gratitude and love xxxxxxxxxxxxx
I also have a video request: Can you make a yin yoga backbending-preparation sequence? Wheel pose is challenging for me - I feel tightness in my shoulders, lower back, and tops of my thighs. A thorough stretch in all these areas would probably lead me to a much more graceful backbend at the end of the class. What do you think?
My right wrist was in so much pain because of using phone and computer, first i did a hands free session then i did this practice. It really helped thank you so much!
I just started working at a restaurant where we have to balance big trays on our hands, and my wrists really aren't flexible enough to do that yet. This video has already helped my pain!
Dear Kassandra thank you so much! Could you please do more of the series for hands/wrists? I had problems with those for the past 2 years and found some exercises but yours were by far the best so far. Thank you very much, namaste, Lucia.
I have been sobbing for the past few days with how excruciating my carpal tunnel symptoms have become. I’m a teacher who gardens and knits for stress-relief, which is hard to maintain when your dominant hand can’t function without being in searing pain. I just did these stretches first thing in the morning and even though many stretches were painful, I do feel a difference after the full video. I’m hopeful that doing these stretches daily and multiple times a day will help my recovery without needing surgery.
Hi Kassandra!! I’ve been watching your videos for years now and I’m so grateful for you!! You’re the only instructor I want to do yoga with now!! 😍🙌🏽 Im wondering if you would be willing to do a yoga video for hairstylists?! As a hairstylist I have SOOO many aces and pains in my hands, wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck, back (upper and lower), hips, and feet/ankles and I usually do your full body videos to conquer it all, but I think it would be AMAZING to have a video that specifically focuses on a hairstylists’ ailments!! 😍🙌🏽 I would be eternally grateful!!!! TIA!! 🙏🏽🥰 And thank you again for the amazing videos!!
Thank you so much for this video!!! I was looking for a way to release my hands and wrists, they became really stiff and tight recently. This is a life changing thing!❤❤❤
I’m so grateful for this video. I’m a massage therapist who has been diagnosed with mild carpal tunnel and I don’t want to have the surgery so I am looking for alternative ways to get better. The finger stretching was really awesome as well as stretching the muscles on top of the forearm and the underside of the forearm. Thank you. I will continue to use your techniques.
I love this video. I do this 2 times a day to try and decrease the tensions in my wrist, forearm, and fingers. I feels great. Ty. I know I left a comment before. Just wanted to thank you again for this video.
This was the absolute BEST stretching sequence I've ever experienced for hands and wrists! This is going immediately to my playlist, and I am going to do these stretches frequently. I work with my hands all day, and lately there have been some challenges at work which have been making my hands and wrists even more in need of tlc. Thank you so much for this, Kassandra! I have tried a lot of other stretching sequences for hands and wrists, but you presented some very unique stretches that I have never tried before, and they were great 😍. My hands feel revived now.
OMG Kassandra! An oldie but a goodie! I sure needed these hand stretches today and I searched for "hands" on your channel and this came right up! Thank you so much!!!

I'm so grateful to find your classes, Kassandra. You have such a wealth of different focuses, easily searchable and always a pleasure to take part in. Thank you so much. x
I love wrist stretches and hardly come across good videos! Thank you, this was wonderful.

Kassandra is the best!!!
Great for aerialists! In aerial fabrics our grip muscles get tight and sore. This is perfect.
+Nichole Besyk oooh yes! thanks for watching :)
Nichole Besyk Absolutely! I'm going to have a 1hr class for backbends coming out very soon and will add your idea to the list as well :)
Perfect! Thanks for all the wonderful videos.
I absolutely love this video. It is by faaar the best wrist/hands video out there. Thank you Kassandra!! You definitely spreading the light. ✨🌷🍀🌼
It’s challenging for me to do yoga for 54 minutes, and It was such a joy..

That's fantastic!! :)
I just started working at a restaurant where we have to balance big trays on our hands, and my wrists really aren't flexible enough to do that yet. This video has already helped my pain!
I do this one twice a week! I love it!
Dear Kassandra thank you so much! Could you please do more of the series for hands/wrists? I had problems with those for the past 2 years and found some exercises but yours were by far the best so far. Thank you very much, namaste, Lucia.
awesome, I love it, it does help, thanks so much, I love you Ksandra
I'm a stenographer and these are by far the best wrist/hand stretches to do before and after a job.
I am a knitter. I found these stretches very helpful. Thank you.
Thank you, Kassandra. The pain in my left wrist was instantly gone after doing this.
Hi Kassandra!! I’ve been watching your videos for years now and I’m so grateful for you!! You’re the only instructor I want to do yoga with now!! 😍🙌🏽
Im wondering if you would be willing to do a yoga video for hairstylists?!
I would be eternally grateful!!!!
TIA!! 🙏🏽🥰
And thank you again for the amazing videos!!
Thank you for posting this. Your series is a life saver.
This was just wonderful! Thank you
I've only done this three times but I can already notice the difference. Thank you! It's brilliant!
I love the Funk rythom.
OMG Kassandra! An oldie but a goodie! I sure needed these hand stretches today and I searched for "hands" on your channel and this came right up! Thank you so much!!!
Wonderful Feels so good and really helps me heal
