The devs added supply lines to the Galactic Map and still the majority of the playerbase just swarms Turing like a bunch of ants instead of thinking for two seconds 💀

No worries, Acamar will be cleared in a few hours. We're winning on Turing and Acamar IV at the same time. It's bugspace, there are plenty of thick heads to beat against the wall.

No divers should head to Acamar 4 to take the planet and it will end the defence mission. That how the game goes.
Am I the only one: 8/10 times, when I get hit by a rocket, my diver ragdolls so hard, he manages to instantly fly into the next rock/tree, snaps his neck and instantly dies, no matter how much hp I have left.
Every damn time. Even if it's 2ft behind me. I usually run medium armour or heavy and it still happens.

With the armor rework, we're glass cannons now, and the devs used cheap ass walmart glass.
Neck fractures do be lethal. And even if you survive, it'd cost more to retrieve and ship home a vegetable diver than it'd cost to just train, equip, and send a new one. Plus, injuries incurable by the 100% effective stimpacks are bad for morale.
Jokes side, yeah lol. It's kind of funny how he would've absolutely survived the impact...if he didn't just land on his head or smash it against a tree/rock/ground/hellpod/robot while pretending to be a Beyblade. Though, even if you survive, you're forced to stand up...and by that point you get immediately blasted again before you can take your "GAWD DAM MEDICINE" -quote from Gawblin Slayer.
I still get ragdoll from Impalers not as bad but I do bounce in the air a bit the recovery animation is slow as fuck

I am now convinced that botdivers are smarter than bugdivers. When Achird III was being attacked by bugs, the bugdivers didn't focus on Darius II which was 50% liberated already. Meanwhile, botdivers are able to take Shelt to prevent the assault of Mastia.
i think it's because fighting bots requires more game knowledge and less running in and shooting everything, so the bot divers are more likely to know about defense gambits
Cloud you gotta get with the strategies. The defense planets (turning) can just be skipped if the supply line connecting to the liberating planet. since you're the first to post as a youtuber, please help unite the helldivers😅

Please stop telling players to land and fight on defence missions when the Gambit planet next to it is the strategic best option. Everyone in this comment section is telling you this. My comment on your last video explained this, and was higher voted than two out of three of the mentioned comments in this video. We're all trying to help players operate more strategically in the game, if players are not worried about that that's fine, but those that are want to know the best way to achieve the goals, especially when these are MOs and effect the new DSS, which I think everyone wants to see happen.

Supply Lines are there for a reason. Liberate Acamar IV and we don't have to worry about defending Turing, since it completely cuts the enemy off.
ALWAYS check your supply lines on the map, it's why we have them. Cutting off enemy assaults (even before they've begun) will win us the war.
Counter point. Efficiency is for cowards and there's more bots to kill this way

Yes this is correct. It’s what happened to Shelt yesterday. The automatons attacked another planet from Shelt but when we liberated it, it canceled their assault and we won on both fronts. Everyone! Attack Acamar! For Super Earth!!
Get off of Turing and go to Acamar IV to cut off Turing from bugs...
1:50 Wrong. Acamar IV was almost liberated. If everybody didnt jump to the defense on Turing both planets would probably be already liberated. We need to be smart helldivers.
Do not go to turing. Taking acamar IV will prevent the assault. We just did this with Shelt on the automaton front.
There's 7K+ divers on Acamar compared to 14K Turing (as of this posting) and we're still set to liberate Acamar before we would win the defense of Turing. I mean, we're winning both anyways but imagine if that 14K on Turing instead went to Acamar, we'd probably liberate it in half the time.
Because the casuals don’t know any better. To be honest this works out because the experienced and better divers can complete the MO while the canon fodder hold off the enemy 😂
Acamar should have been liberated days ago but divers were choosing planets that had nothing to do with the MO. Still going to defend Turing no matter what but General Brash really needs to give a mandatory tutorial showing how FTL lines work

I agree that people should pay more attention to supply lines, but I also think there should be some sort of in-game communication that explains defense gambits cause it seems like a lot of players don’t know about them.
If we take Acamar IV it will cut off supply lines to Turing and will keep it in our control.
Do bugs need supply lines though? It should be a buff they have that they don’t rely on supply lines like the bots. Like a faction trait.

The cannon towers are WAY too accurate. They can snipe you in the face from across the map, in movement.
for anyone interested in a random HD2 build
The Stalker Hunter:
Primary is ARC-12 blitzer for those sweet sweet stuns, keep ears open and pre-aim, they normally all take you from the same side so you can get stuns off on all
Secondary is the Grenade Pistol, we won't be taking many kabooms, so this is for bug-holes and sometimes spewers
Support can be a flex pick, i use the ARC thrower for crowd control as I'm being a Team player and not exactly made for killing the big bugs
Throwable: Frags or Therms are good
Strats: Precision orbital strike, gatling barrage, and 500kg, you can swap one out for a shield pack if the hunters are too much for you, but that's about it
In regards to the samples, I can think of a couple things they could do with them.
1. For every sample that we bring back that can’t be added to our inventory due to the cap, we could trade them for Requisition slips or even super credits. Common and Rare samples can be converted into R-slips and Super samples could be traded for either R-slips or super credits. How much each would be worth is a different can of worms.
2. Maybe you could use your surplus samples to switch some of the passive traits on some of your armor sets, like through a workbench mechanic. Example: Let’s say you have the extra padding passive on an armor set that you really like to use, but you would rather have the engineering kit on it instead. You could switch them around if you have enough samples.
Now watch as all the artists crank out revised art faster than Natalia Poklonskaya’s first public appearance.
Regarding ragdolls I would love a booster that allows you like 3 or 5 seconds or air time while diving so you can actually dive and shoot from a high terrain instead of just shooting a few bullets before splatting yourself on the ground like a bag of potatoes. 😅

Biggest problem is self-stimming gets inturupted constantly. If I stim myself, let me stim myself. Died too many times when it gets cancelled by getting hit from enemies.
I can kind of understand getting hit, as at times stimming while Prone will let it still go through while being hit by bugs like Hunters. Other than that, yes... I hate it when slipping down a rock and canceling my stim.
If only they would give us the ability to use our jetpack when we're ragdolling through the air to stabilize us and makes us land safely. It would bring more utility to the jetpack
What if we just took Acamar? Wouldn't that cut them off?
I think ragdoll needs to be reduced across the board but i also think armor should affect how it works in general ie:
Light armor
Light damage: stagger
Medium damage: stagger/knocked down
Heavy damage: ragdolled
Medium armor
Light damage: flinch
Medium damage: stagger
Heavy damage: ragdolled/knocked down
Heavy armor
Light damage: no effect
Medium damage: flinch
Heavy damage: stagger/knocked down
Impaler knocking me around has been vastly more annoying than the rockets. just wear explosive resistant armor when fighting the bots lol

I've stopped playing for a couple months and came back after the buffs patch. It's so fun to play again and I've managed to get two friends to play and spread democracy. Can't wait for the station phase 2

I was getting one-shot from across the map for almost every death.
I wish helldivers had equivalent kit to modern soldiers.
As of 3 days ago the game still had several game ending bugs active. Either an outright crash of the game, randomly kicked back to ship or the screen going white mid match. Just really incredible. The only reason I'm still around is when it does play, I like where it's at currently as far as balance and damage.

I voted bit much at times because: 1. I wear heavy armor and still get sent flying instead of a stagger or slighht push back.
2. Bugs have the spewer mortar and charger hits that aren’t lethal sending you into a wall for the 1-2 punch.
3. Bots have tons of knockback and ragdolling but even if you know which do and how to avoid it youll inevitably be outnumbered and find a rocket tripping you into a staggerlock death
I like how the General picked up the bot's weapon. I wish we could do that in the game.
It makes you wonder how much of their original design has probably changed with the illuminate. Like imagine the illuminate drop with none of the essence of the recent changes. Can't even fathom knowing they would be 😂
What annoys me the most with ragdoll is that we immediately get back up on our feet. Because that makes sense?? "Hey I just got thrown to the ground by enemy fire I should DEFINITELY STAND BACK UP INTO IT"

For me, the ragdoll would be perfect if I had the option to stay prone after being ragdolled. Maybe increase a bit the distance a diver needs to fall to be sent into ragdoll state, but that is just personal preference.

Idea for a melee weapon, make it a backpack like the ballistic shield so you can wield it with a one handed gun. Imagine feeling like a space marine with a senator in one hand and a saber in the other.
As soon as the Illuminate drop the playerbase will be split 4 ways as opposed to the current 3. Bugs, Bots, MO, and the Illuminate. We would have a rough month or so when it comes to the MO as Joel tweaks the numbers
Could you do a video explaining Supply lines as not many people understand it? For example, like many people have said here, if you attack Acamar IV instead of defending Turing, you'd liberate two planets in one go but currently there are more divers on Turing than Acamar.

The rocket tank is what makes me hate the higher bot difficulty, that thing can (at times) tank a 500kg or thermite grenade.
Personally I think the ragdolling is hilarious. Yes it can be annoying at times but I'll take that over a game breaking attempt to fix it. Besides I love the ragdolling of enemies, I can't imagine changes to helldiver ragdolling not also affecting enemies.
I pray to God that we don't have to go through a Fall of Cadia!

I think the DSS will be a big step towards eliminating the automatons for good, which I think needs to happen soon, and once they’re gone I expect the illuminate will take their place
Fighting against the bots is so painful now. I feel too squishy going against them. I was playing with a rando and couldn't even stay on my feet I had to keep diving and stimming. I couldn't even fight back. It's so frustrating!

I think more telling from that ragdoll poll is that a full 75% of the community are not happy with the ragdolling in one form or another to some degree, with only 15% being happy with it and 10% being indifferent (which is what i'm taking from "It's ok")

A cool idea for liberty Day for the next war bond or weapon edition would be some kind of new rocket launcher or stratagem like a flamethrower mech that would really give us a sense of freedom and democracy.

The bot front: ok we concentrat on one planet with low enemy reinforcmends.
Bug front: ok lets bash our head into a wall with 3% enemy reinforcmends and 50% of heldivers over 4 drivend planets so no progress is maied

I currently cannot dive as my toddler got feverishly ill and my infant is showing symptoms of the same illness as well. I am currently at medical with them ensuring they get proper treatment.

Everyone talks about building a pc. Nobody takes into account buying a desk, chair and decent monitor to round out the setup. Thats if you even have space for a desk. I play sat on my sofa on my 120hz tv through my ps5.

With rag dolls, maybe get rid of it for heavy armor or even add a armor perk that could reduce rag dolls (although it seems more of an engine problem or coding problem).
I want to take cyberstan already. Perhaps all that’s left of the cyborgs from the previous game will be an enemy we see in the future for the automatons. Here’s to the future of Helldivers 2.

ragdolling when tripping is understandable IF the divers are moving really fast, but from normal diving bumps? the diver should have been anticipating it in while they were on the air because that move is voluntary lmao
Requisition points should be used for the DSS, not samples. It's literally an unusable currency right now, at least the stratagems are priced high enough that you need to grind out the missions to get the samples, but the req points you can accumulate very quickly, with no usage for them after about level 20 or so.
I love ragdolling down hills and cliffs like evil kenievel, if the community complains and removes ragdolling off terrain im throwing a fit

I am thankful that there will be no Holiday decoration in the game! First of all, nearly everyone does it. Second it really would look ridiculous. And third, Super Earth has no religion, just Democracy and it is great und Enough! I am excited for "Liberty Day"!
Next strategy idea is getting General Brasch hell pod drop with a radio and a voice line or a 2 minute of Gen Brasch to save the mission
Eagle one girl is OP
Just wanna leave my opinion about the new cape styles first of all the Titan style cape from Destiny is absolutely fantastic and I think they should go down that path as much as possible. Capes over one shoulder can be restrictive for the player in terms of animations of throwing and movement. And lastly the furred pauldrons are cool, but I think more work is needed to perfect that kind of style.
As has already been stated, DO NOT DEFEND TURING! Finish the liberation of ACAMAR IV and you protect Turing while stopping the attack. 2 Planets, 1 attack.
Ragdoll is only a problem when you play dumb, it tends to happen when you Leroy jenkins into a bunch of bots. Use cover like the game says.
I was playing last night SES Harbinger of Destruction was blowing the crap out of everything. With my 380mm, Napalm, 120mm barrages honest to god that Napalm Barrage is so damm sweet.
I got the 4th orbital upgrade last night for tighter spread going for 5th now, never had so much fun throwing all 3 at once or with someone else's barrages. But the only issue I had last night was connection issues if I notice lag on the mission weapons select screen I quit and restart on pc because I know it's going to f-up.
Last night my last game all 3 randoms went for a connection error and it put me by myself on a raise the flag basically solo level 7, I did it but the spawning rate was unbelievable bad I mean they kept coming and coming from the same spots. But then on extraction again just endless waves for 2 mins tha k god for my Gatlin and Napalm Barrages. Solo was rather fun though proper andreniline rush lol
I think that after each crazy big victory we should have a holiday set for hell divers like say malevalon Creek day.
Also I think I'm personally okay fighting Bots and Bugs and seeing where they take this narrative. With the addition of another game master I have a lot of faith. Just seeing what they have given us already. The game isn't even a year old and it's moving so fast. I am okay with development team taking a little time. :)
