This almost feels like a crossover between you and Eravin in a way, maybe just 'cause he's the only stealth-focused HD2ber I know lol. You're excellent at providing gameplay examples and giving tips for underused weapons and how to coordinate with your team, he's all about the nitty-gritty mechanics and stealth roaming, and you're both great at getting the point across as fast as reasonably possible while still being in deeper depth than most other youtubers can. In other words, I think you are just the best HD2 creator for actual fun having, and Eravin the best for when I wanna know exactly what makes my equipment and my enemies tick. ...I'm gonna perfectly honest with y'all I have no clue what convinced me to make this comment lmao, but here we are.

Was already going to suggest this on Eravin's discord before I saw this comment.
YO!!! I just finished watching @EravinVT latest vid, then came here, and imo, these two are THE BEST hd2 channels on youtube!! they do need to team up! I've watched every hd2 content creator here, I have 400hrs+ on hd2, and without a doubt, these two helldivers are the best we've got!!!! super earth needs to promote these [specific] helldivers to captains!
Dude, i dig it. A+. Delivery is on point. I mean, as far as the tactics, its all essentially common sense, but everyone's brains operate differently. You are good at explaining it all. Anything that makes the helldivers as a whole stronger is good in my book.
Sometimes while I'm playing I just turn my brain off and shoot, especially on lower difficulties with my friends. Impossible/Helldive difficulty is the only thing that lights my brain up enough to actually start thinking tactically.
I tell everybody new to the game to use the diligence sniper against bots! There is better options but that’s the most straight forward for newer players!
Only comment I'd add is knowing the difference between cover and concealment. Cover is solid stuff between you and enemies- breaks line of sight and stops projectiles. Concealment is non-solid stuff between you and enemies- breaks line of sight but doesn't stop their bullets. Great video on stealth tactics!
Commissar, I am not near your rank, but an underrated bot build that I recommend everyone tries at least once is as follows: -Scout armor -Exploding crossbow -Senator (Big iron) -Laser cannon -Ballistic Shield -Eagle Airstrike -Rocket Sentry
Ran a couple bot missions with orbital smoke, commando, jetpack and 110 rockets while using the eruptor and Deagle, the amount of times smoke strike gave my team enough time to find some hard cover to get behind as well as hide us from multiple mortar barrages was amazing, as was the commando for taking out anything that I couldn’t chip or stagger a win out of with the eruptor
One of my roles in our premade is to be the sample mule. Every so often, we regroup andI grab the samples. If we have a lot, or if we find Super Samples, I hike them back to the extract (or close to it) while they tackle the next obj. Sometimes, I'll leave any weapons and gear with them, drop off the samples at extract, get myself killed, and they'll call me in to get me back in the fight, pronto! It's situational, but it's solid for sample grinding!
Just wanted to point out that the plasma punisher delievers aoe, has a good ammo economy, kills scout striders with ease, and can easily be sprayed into hoardes of bots caught in smoke. Also if you have not been detected, firing off to the side of a patrol will distract them and cause them to go investigate
just tried this loadout out. nice one. played a few missions. and the strategy is effective. a random teamate was like wow. I never saw someone use smoke before. and then with the javelin spear... he was like mannnn someone is giving me some crazy support artillery over here. and then took out a tank and someone is like man whoever just took out that tank saved me. lol keep it up...
Thanks for making this video! My main playstyle is stealth / roamer so videos like these have been vital in refining my coordination and efficiency. Thank you for being so thorough in your explanations.
The Hammer of Conviviality sees the irony in your Emperor of Democracy and approves. You are a scholar and a gentleman (in addition to being the emperor).
I really appreciate this channel, and any teammate who incorporates any of Kai’s tactics ngl Love the video btw. You’re doin Lady Liberty’s work, keep it up!
Tried something like this, different loadout, same plan. Was working great, never even died and took out two fabricators. Host kicked me without warning as I was just about to pick up super creds on the other side of the map.
Had a lvl 7 campaign with friends after watching this. Went 2 games in a row with zero deaths, most kills and most samples extracted, following this loadout and play-style guide. Awesome vid, dude!
The head click at 16:09 is a beauty! Also, I see you were using the Spear very well, but I want to add a tip for folks just starting out with it. For Hulks facing you head on, cenetr yourself on the eye and then lower your targeting circle as far as possible while maintaining lock before firing. Very reliable 1 shot kill if you're beyond the 30m minimum for guidance to kick in.
Also forgot to add that Scout armour comes with a nice utility function of "radar" in a radius around your mini-map pings which will let you see how many bots are crowding an objective you want might to recon in force.
My go-to build now is MG43, supply backpack, Orbital Precision Strike, Eagle Air Strike, Breaker, machine pistol and smoke grenades Having someone with the supply pack to pair with the SPEAR instantly multiplies it's effectiveness; more ammo means more anti-armor covering fire for the team.
Play with my buddy and I'll take the spear backpack and give him my resupply. Then I'll run ammo intensive chaff clear stuff that gets resupplied when he gives me more ammo for more rockets.
Stumbled across this randomly, and this video probably best describes how I typically play on bots, though it’s less strategically splitting off from the team and more solo roaming to clear every bit outpost or objective I see on the map. Still learned a lot from this video and might try out the Smoke Strike when my schedule gets less busy and I can play again. Great video!
This is an awesome video! I really like using smoke orbitals I just gotta figure out the best way to use them lol. I think I'll try them out in my next loadout testing! A lot of my viewers talk highly of you and now I see why definitely earned a sub!
Smoke doesn't create cover, it creates concealment, you aren't immune to damage when behind it and the bots will usually just walk through it and start tracking you again as soon as they get a glimpse of you that's why you gotta use close to you instead of throwing it closer to the bots so THEY take longer to get through. Also personal preference, the eagle smoke strike creates a wall of smoke that is more useful to make getaways.
Ive always been a solo player in my 30k hours of gaming. My skillset is survival, threat elimination, stealth, and efficiency in that order. Idc about kill count I care about breaking the nice things the enemies have. Bigger targets. I appreciate the video.
"Dude, do you always role play like this?" 🤣 Love ya, man, keep 'em coming! I learn more every time. I'm starting to dive in with pubbies in diff 6 building my confidence using your tactics. Slowly getting my hands on those last few ship upgrades. Fighting on the extraction point, waiting for a Pelican I haven't called in yet? 🤨Never heard of it. 😆
13:32 Personally, I call em travelers. If you are in a pinch, for example, being chased down by those hellish chainsaw devastators, get close to one, and shoot it. Make sure you have high health before so, as the knock back may launch you quite far, and quite hard.
I have to point this out because we literally have the same playstyle/mindset against the bots especially I am a rando player, not to mention we almost have the same loadout (the only differences are the primary because I have bad aim and the smoke strategem which I will definitely try in the future asap). I learned this playstyle from a friend when he was actively playing HD2 and I have to thank him for that.. Keep it up!
So glad your videos got recommended to me, been hooked ever since, been playing since the game came out and i still come to your videos for build man, keep up the great work brother ❤
Thank you for pointing the potency of the diligence counter sniper against bots. I have been enjoying it for the whole time. Also I just joined the discord and I am enjoying your videos.
small tip for most ammo efficiency, if you take a resupply before you fire your last rocket thats in your javelinlauncher you get one more rocket before you have to take another resupply, or when you have to move away. Youre left with 4 rockets vs 3 rockets. A bit like if you reload a gun with atleast 1 round still in the champer so you have that one extra in the gun.
Scout here! When I run scout post buff update, I usually bring stealth armor, eruptor as primary (great for popping a fabricator at range), shotgun as secondary, thermite grenades(great for popping heavies, fabricators, and mortar emplacements), and then 3 kinds of sentry to draw fire (usually gatling for light infantry, AC for heavies and bot drops, and mortar for non-reciprocal shooting). Lastly, I will either bring the forcefield backpack for durability, the supply pack so I can resupply myself in the field without denying my allies, or the recoilless rifle to take out heavies and fabricators at range.
10:25 Ha, I admire you patience and grace -- this drives me nuts when teammates use a strategem when they can clearly see I'm in the midst of deploying a hellbomb. It's like my own brother cutting me off in traffic because he reaaaalllly waaaaants to get there first.
Unless someone is actively trolling me, I can't bring myself to get angry at them. We were all "noobies" at one point, and I just chalk it up to them not knowing any better. I did want to see the big boom though :(
Great video as always. I used a similar loadout in the past as my comfort pick (B4 factory striders were introduced). For primary I used the sickle although if I wanted a challenge I would use the OG liberator, its role is to kill devastators but your aim must be decent to hit their eyes. For secondary I used the redeemer for the small guys cause of its great ammo economy. If you need to kill a bunch of them grouped up you can go full auto or if you wanna go stealth u can go single fire. (Tip: For stealth, ADS and aim for the little guys' heads, it's a one-shot kill if u manage to pop their heads). I brought the autocannon instead of the spear cause of its versatility from hulks to fabricators to the small doors you need to open at POIs (Plus back then the spear could not lock on to jack squat) as well as eagle smoke instead of the orbital smoke. With its multiple uses, I feel like the Eagle Smoke is much more forgiving and versatile, plus, you can use it to take out fabricators in a pinch. Furthermore, the Eagle Smoke drops the smoke in the left-right pattern so you can use it to block LOS for a large area by just dropping it at your feet. (Tip: Turn 90 degrees from where you want to go then toss it at your feet, the left-right smoke pattern will cover your advance in the direction of where you want to go) Btw, if the bots spot you before you can smoke up they will shoot at where they last saw you, so it's not recommended to run in a straight line away from them. Hence why the left-right pattern of the eagle is so good also, it allows for much more diagonal running space then the orbital smoke
The cannon missions are so much fun! Basic yes but adds something new for a change. Am glad you covered the smoke strike. I have it unlocked but have yet to use it. Will give it a try on my next mission runs. Things will be going fine then whoosh effing patrols all around. The scout and ranger armor is my primary field wear even on squad missions. I go stealth a lot both solo and team based. Thanks for showing us all the tips! They will definitely help us fellow HDs out. 😊
These vids are sick definitely do other load outs, maybe even so recommended loadout reviews. I’d like to recommend the heavy support load out: Dominator Any secondary HMG Supply Backpack Precision orbital strike Any stratagem of your choice. I find any sentry works well Goals: Provide cover fire and heavy machine gun support at the core of your teams assaults whether it be for helping cover pinned allies, covering retreats or long range machine gun fire in hoards of enemies. Tips: Use Lowest HMG setting to save Ammo and increase accuracy, Always find a covered position to prone and assault enemy.
Nice point of view from a SHADOW Helldiver comrade ! On my side, my loadout is more made for a "passive agressive" stealth playstyle : - JAR-5 Dominator as primary, louder but more effective on medium bots - Senator as secondary, when I don't have time to reload primary - Impact grenades for easily take down groups of scout riders and other chasers - Eagle Air Strike, for patrols incoming and no way to avoid them and destroying fabricators from distance ; on swamp planets with big trees, I prefer Orbital Air Strike (Eagle's bombs often miss their targets because of those damn trees) - Orbital Precision Strike, easily take down Hulks, Tanks and Watch Tower (more effective than 500kg bombs, on my opinion) - Auto-Cannon, for long range destruction of medium/heavy bots and fabricators - EMS mortar, for stunning closed bots and serves sometimes as a decoy (bots lost focus on helldivers when they discover it, plus it don't harm teammates when they're hit) About smoke, I rely more on environmental elements, such as these gaz plants and rains/fog swamp. I'm actually looking for the "Democratic Detonation" warbond to unlock the Explosive Crossbow and Grenad Pistol, in order to upgrade my actual loadout. Anyways, good luck for your next black ops on ground ! ;)
This is genuinely a really great digest into the intricacies of helldivers stealth and how to think and act like a slippery little fella. Make sure not to keep em waitin', huh?
This is similar to the way I always play. My preferred load out is the R36 for facilities/bug pits and medium troops, secondary can be anything but I like the bushwhacker for the high damage and quick reload, and then the Stalwart which is purely meant to handle small units and flying bugs. From my experience, mobility is priority so I like to use the jump pack for more opportunities to evade enemies and in a few cases distract enemies while my teammates reload. The last two stratagems I use are the 380 Barrage for objectives and the new Patriot for heavies because of it’s practicality and low cool down. I enjoy my load out because it allows me to quickly move across the map and gives me the ability to take out enemy area without being slowed by armor (I always use light armor with stealth buff) as well as having a well rounded load out for all enemies big and small.
I havent played in a while but the loadout I run is similar. I run a scout armour, base Diligence and a Senator revolver. For stratagems I use Jump pack, Anti material rifle and 500kg, last one is a wildcard I switch for the mission. Since launch day I have been stealth roaming while my friends wreck house and attract attention, a well placed 500kg can take out bases or objectives by itself, and the jump pack can get you out when it gets loud. The jump pack provides insane mobility downhill, letting you catch up to your team when you need to, but more importantly you can get on the high ground where enemies cant hit you, allowing you to set up for overwatch fire protecting your team from afar. The Senator can take out a bot easy, quick and quietly, for close range engagements and for general stealth takedowns. The base Diligence while not having the power of other counterparts, is almost perfectly accurate, semi auto, and takes out bots in two hits easily, I use it both in close range battles and long range sniping of weaker bots. Finally the Anti material is for your heavy hitters. With this I can take objectives by myself while my team works together, I can get back to them quickly, and when things take a turn for the worst, I can secure my safety on top of a rock or something similar so I can then rain down fire on enemies targeting my teammates without worry. Its a build near and dear to my heart, and no matter what happens I will always be coming back to it eventually since it priorities the most important things for me in any game, completing objectives and helping the team.
Great video. My go to loadout is similar. Scout armor, DiligenceCS, smokes (or stun nades) and splitting off from the team. Now the big differences was ai opted for the Quasar or the EAT for I can keep my backpack open for the riot shield. My survivability goes up a lot by being able to square up with the heavy devs and striders when needed. Can still snipe most structures with the Quasar (although the spear just shutting down a strat jammer cross map does sound kinda nice).
My go-to stealth saboteur load out is a bit different, more so focusing on getting into the base and shredding a hole from within. Of course, I bring scout armor. However, I do bring the medium armor as opposed to the light armor for more tankiness for when I need it. Stratagems: -commando to deal with hulks and especially gunships that you otherwise aren’t able to shake -jump pack for mobility, speed, efficiency, being able to get into bases easier, etc -machine gun sentry: after the buff, it became the ultimate jack-of-all-trades strategem. It can provide support fire, lure enemies away from your position, and use as a bullet from the sky in similarity to the EAT. Its usefulness knows no bounds in my games. -precision strike (or air strike): this can deal with fabricators when you inevitably run out of grenades. The strength of these strategem may not be extremely high for when you’re being chased down, but it can take out a good chunk of enemies when you’re initially infiltrating the bases or when you first become spotted. It also helps against the various points of interests you’ll find. Strategy: -Try to avoid any and all patrols that you come across; you are not well equipped for that. You can avoid all patrols if you use the scout passive’s ping radar (seriously, this passive can make you practically omnipotent if played right.) -When dealing with small bases, the sentry can easily deal with the smaller enemies already in there. If it can’t, it can still upset the enemy line enough for you to get in relatively scot free. For the most part, you can simply deal with the fabricators from afar with the commando and none will be the wiser. -for larger bases or objective bases, it’d be in your best interest to stealth your way into the base. Once you get into good position (hopefully unseen), call down the hellbomb if need be, the sentry, then hold the fort. All the defenses will be rendered useless due to you being on the inside, and you can now climb the pile of scrap metal as the hellbomb drops and charges. You can quickly make your escape with the jump pack when you assume the hellbomb is properly secured. Even the panicked bot drops are rendered useless as you can either shoot them down with the commando or simply leave and run far away. Bottom line for the build: keep moving. The strategems all have short cooldowns for a reason, with exception to the jump pack. I hope to NOT see some of you using this build. I wish to see many pieces of white text show up with you on the mini map far away from me.
On the evasion, I switched my sprint to press rather than hold. If its on hold then you can't have your map open, but on press you just hit shift to start sprinting then hit tab to open the map back up so you have constant radar. And if you are running a scout suit you can ping the map to scout enemies a long your path or friendly paths so they see enemies on map before they get there. But since I'm solo most of the time I sometimes will navigate without looking where I'm going, I'm just looking at the map and running my marker down the center line between bot groups.
In a lot of lobbies I play my teammates will abandon a secondary objective or outpost after dying a few times or losing their stratagem equipment in a swarm of enemies and instead just go elsewhere to complete other objectives. Which is absolutely perfect for me since their retreat draws out the enemies, and I can flank around and fly in with a jump pack to solo clear it with 2 stims and a dream.
This is how I always end up playing, bots or bugs, I will travel around the map clearing out outposts and stuff solo and scavenging ammo crates and stuff for ammo. Super fun to just do side objectives while the rest of the team does things, I’ve also found it to be safer too
Loved the video, mate. Great approach for when you deploy with squad mates that you know and when there is cooperation and a good level of organisation. Sadly, most random matches are just people running towards the enemy gun line like this is some sort of space Somme 😂
My friend and I actually explode with laughter when some solo scrub goes off and dies and quits, not like he was helping at that stage. Appreciate the info though, I'll consider the smoke it's a good idea.
Hilariously, even my kill everything loadout is stealthier than my friends who try to stealth. Scout armor helps, but it doesn't make you outright invisible people. Love the tips, all very useful even if you're bot going for a stealthy support build.
I play a similar build but I swap out a few things. You can swap orbital smokes with eagle smokes and it does the same thing. A few changes though in how the AOE works, one is a big cloud the other is a line of clouds. Stun nades are nice but smokes can help if your strat is on cooldown and you're in a pinch. Exploding crossbow or eruptor are my choices for primary. They can destroy buildings from afar with ease, bonus the crossbow is quiet which helps. Marksman rifle is a goto, preferrably with a supply pack if you care to take a backpack(you wont need it) then orbital laser, railcannon, and something that goes BOOM. Anything works, eagles, 120s, walking seems more fun now. Much the same play style but I stay way the hell away from enemies when possible. It feels less ammo hungry compared to the spear build but requires a bit more effort to be usable.
the 380 barrage is a good throw and forget base killer, you toss one into a large base and it will either fully destroy it or severely cripple it allowing your teammates to move in and finish off whats left as well as collect samples. i usually use the 380 when im running saboteur, this is another option to use outside the orbital laser.
I too do roam around usually. Taking out stray factories on the way of main objectives, and since i got scout perk, i get around to collect all the samples i can find on the map. It %85 of times goes smooth. %15 of times i got two hulks and 3 diffrent patrols chasing after me.
Ive recently started to learn the way of roaming the map and I gotta say its so efficient to sneak around the map doing objectives while the attention is all on my fellow teammates. I have almost the exact same loadout, tho I didnt know about the smokes, and I sadly dont have legal access to stun grenades yet...
On the topic of fighting around a resupply, as a duo you can run an autocannon and a supply pack where the guy with the autocannon has the supply pack and the other uses the autocannon backpack, from full to empty that's 500 autocannon shots.
This is my exact role! I silently get in and grab loot, then blow everything up as loudly as possible on the way out. Thus making enemies spawn far, far away from my teammates, without engaging them myself either. Consider using the crossbow y'all, it's silent to fire but makes noise where the bolt lands. This essentially is godmode for stealth, you can make bots dance to your tune all day long Oh another tip that works for resupplying away from your team: type the code get it in your hands but don't throw. Have any of the other 3 call it down where they are. After it's landed, throw yours, there ya go everyone gets it. Wham bam thank you ma'am! Oh and you can have all 4 players do it, just one at a time
@@runnergo1398 np it's one of the few "exploits" I use to my advantage because it doesn't hurt anyone's experience and so far of the 30 or so people I've taught in games, every single one appreciated the tip 🤣 Everybody loves ammo
This is what made me quit the game. Everyone running around solo and a max difficulty mission and the bugs are so spread apart there is zero danger....
Smoke can help protect the hell bomb. Make sure the smoke is deployed before it lands. Grenades are also great for this. You can cook the grenade in your hand and let it explode not pulling agro to that spot. I prefer to start the toss animation at the last second as you will equip the last weapon you had and try to fire it while holding the trigger.
Great video! I use a similar load out to yours, diff primary /sec and I used eagle smokes, been torn but i figured i can abuse the spammable smoke and lower cd xD You made a force recon! I am a bit torn on using the orb laser at times for pugs since uh... some will forget the objective and just engage lol
This gameplay is literally the best mindset of playing against the bots. Try to destroy as fast as possible, and avoid any form of engagement as best as possible.
17:36 I'd add that you should try to see what you can target if the team has dropped a resupply and your spear is at full ammo (assuming the one who called the resupply has unlocked SPM). You don't wanna aggro too many bots of course so avoid shooting random patrols with hulks and scout striders. But if you have turrets or single bot fabricators in your line of sight, you might as well take them out before you take a supply box to refill on rockets. And of course, you can also dump those rockets on a Hulk or even a scout strider if they're already aggroing you anyway. You can also do the same if you reach a point of interest with loads of ammo boxes on the ground. One box gives you 1 rocket. If you find a single turret and some supplies next to it, that's a jackpot since they're often on higher ground, which is exactly what you want for your spear shots. And taking the turret down is a cake walk with your spear.
I like to run heavy armor and machine guns, but I would be lying if I said that I sometimes feel like going stealth would be fun. Thank you for the video!
Punisher Plasma (CC) and AMR (Anti-Tank) and Lift Pack make me self sufficient and I can takeout most objectives alone. it feels great to hop up the side of a wall
Stealth is my play style, but I haven’t tried this one. When I’m taking fabricators out, I usually like to take out the small ones, cause those are the only ones that can call reinforcements, then once I got rid of them, I quickly get rid of the fabricators. If I’m able to get rid of the fabricators first, and the small ones are dead, I’ll go for it. Always watch out for patrols before executing anything. I also use the scorcher for the small ones, berserkers and autocannon for everything thing else, fabricators included. I also use orbital laser, orbital railcannon and orbital precision strike.
I would argue helldivers 2 is almost as much of a social game as it is a Shooter, its really interesting to meet new people in game, and by running so far away that what your doing is irrelivant to your teamates, your kinda robbing yourself of that social aspect. I really love the stealth playstyle while playing close to my teamates, because often if I do need to roam, I can, but also, often my teamates make good enough distractions to stealth objectives.
I don't buy the smoke, I get the argument, but that's what the stun nade is for! Bots can't move or shoot if they are stunned and you can still pick off weak spots, smoke just stops the team from seeing. I'd take the orbital EMS or the EMS turret if you want to be more tactical about it.
I like playing like this.... Very zen like,. Ill carry the big orbital barage... make sure my team knows my worth quick. Get tid of jammers etc... So, they don't boot me for working the map alone. THE KEY is to know when to engage, and when not to... When to run....
First of all, this is useful. Like very useful. Should be playing on the destroyer's tv. Second of all, I'm usually a heavy AT gunner: recoilless, auto rifle and thermite. But I always wanted to be this type of scout, never knew how could I do it. I'll definitly try this.
Interesting, I personally run the commando for counter strategem jammer utility and short cooldown, the energy shield for survivability, the 500lb for small target and small area denial and the 380 for large base clearing. With the eruptor primary and an smg secondary, eruptor for med armored targets and smg for small swarms or picking off small groups while I take points of interest
I prefer my Power Scout build. For primaries, almost the same, but I like the Verdict or Senator… cuz they’re f-ing cool! Stratagems: Commando (at least until they nerf it), Jump Pack (mobility is king), Auto Cannon Sentry, and Rocket Sentry (cuz someone’s gotta watch your back). This setup lets me run off solo, and even solo Factory Striders. Absolutely great fun, I highly recommend trying it.
For anyone new to the channel, howdy! I make videos showing a variety of ways to play with teams of random squadmates, so if stealth ain't your cup of tea, then check out any of my other loadouts.

I'm level 127 and I prefer it to bots along with the AMR. I tend to stay full back for my teammates to be the heroes.
@@BeardGrizzly have you tried Eruptor + Spear combo. It's super fun. Similar style, but way more explodey. 😁
@@jonathandorozowsky4005 Eruptor is literally S teir against be bots because it can oneshot the fabricators for cheap ammo economy.
Commissar, I am not near your rank, but an underrated bot build that I recommend everyone tries at least once is as follows:
-Scout armor
-Exploding crossbow
-Senator (Big iron)
-Laser cannon
-Ballistic Shield
-Eagle Airstrike
-Rocket Sentry
Really like how informative you are and plainly you present the decisions and details! Thanks for the upload dood!
Watching you surviving getting launched into a hulk at 17:10 was amazing! Great video!

Yet another video pointing out my typical play style. I was diving with friends just last night, with nearly this exact load out. Love the content.
just tried this loadout out. nice one. played a few missions. and the strategy is effective. a random teamate was like wow. I never saw someone use smoke before.
and then with the javelin spear... he was like mannnn someone is giving me some crazy support artillery over here. and then took out a tank and someone is like man whoever just took out that tank saved me. lol keep it up...
2012 type cheesy long format videos are what I was looking for, amazing quality; respect.
Thanks for making this video! My main playstyle is stealth / roamer so videos like these have been vital in refining my coordination and efficiency. Thank you for being so thorough in your explanations.
Love this guy trying to use his strategy’s and support my team in very game now

Love the video btw.
My go-to build now is MG43, supply backpack, Orbital Precision Strike, Eagle Air Strike, Breaker, machine pistol and smoke grenades
Having someone with the supply pack to pair with the SPEAR instantly multiplies it's effectiveness; more ammo means more anti-armor covering fire for the team.
Supply Pack+Grenade/MG buddy to cover the Spear user is GOATED. Not having to worry about scrounging Spear ammo or stealing resupply is amazing
Play with my buddy and I'll take the spear backpack and give him my resupply. Then I'll run ammo intensive chaff clear stuff that gets resupplied when he gives me more ammo for more rockets.
@@SHOW01000 yesss this SUCH a powerful combination. I usually like the other guy to run MG or Nade Launcher. My easiest Helldives were this combo

Love this play style, definitely my preference when running with friends. Thanks Kai!
This is an awesome video! I really like using smoke orbitals I just gotta figure out the best way to use them lol. I think I'll try them out in my next loadout testing! A lot of my viewers talk highly of you and now I see why definitely earned a sub!
Hey it’s Jaakeup! Yea the Commissar is awesome
@@KaliFortuna He is! I really dig the content!

Personally, I call em travelers.
This is great. I love seeing actual tactics applied to video games like this
I did want to see the big boom though :(
you got the like for your dedication to highlighting team work and team etiquette
(Tip: Turn 90 degrees from where you want to go then toss it at your feet, the left-right smoke pattern will cover your advance in the direction of where you want to go)
Btw, if the bots spot you before you can smoke up they will shoot at where they last saw you, so it's not recommended to run in a straight line away from them.
I love your stuff man. Knowing you love smoke as I do only intensifies my appreciation.
These vids are sick definitely do other load outs, maybe even so recommended loadout reviews.
I’d like to recommend the heavy support load out:
Dominator
Any secondary
HMG
Supply Backpack
Precision orbital strike
Any stratagem of your choice. I find any sentry works well
Goals:
Provide cover fire and heavy machine gun support at the core of your teams assaults whether it be for helping cover pinned allies, covering retreats or long range machine gun fire in hoards of enemies.
Tips: Use Lowest HMG setting to save Ammo and increase accuracy,
Always find a covered position to prone and assault enemy.
Nice point of view from a SHADOW Helldiver comrade !
On my side, my loadout is more made for a "passive agressive" stealth playstyle :
- JAR-5 Dominator as primary, louder but more effective on medium bots
- Senator as secondary, when I don't have time to reload primary
- Impact grenades for easily take down groups of scout riders and other chasers
- Eagle Air Strike, for patrols incoming and no way to avoid them and destroying fabricators from distance ; on swamp planets with big trees, I prefer Orbital Air Strike (Eagle's bombs often miss their targets because of those damn trees)
- Orbital Precision Strike, easily take down Hulks, Tanks and Watch Tower (more effective than 500kg bombs, on my opinion)
- Auto-Cannon, for long range destruction of medium/heavy bots and fabricators
- EMS mortar, for stunning closed bots and serves sometimes as a decoy (bots lost focus on helldivers when they discover it, plus it don't harm teammates when they're hit)
About smoke, I rely more on environmental elements, such as these gaz plants and rains/fog swamp.
Nice! spread the good vibes and tactics instead of whining about the nerfs like 90% of this broken streaming/youtubing community. Gotta love it.
Great video. I'll be trying out some of your suggested tactics when I next dive. I've subscribed and look forward to your videos in the future.
Yeah I like pretty much everything you said, and I will definitely be using these tips to dip my toe into the waters of roamer playstyle.
Stratagems:
-commando to deal with hulks and especially gunships that you otherwise aren’t able to shake
-jump pack for mobility, speed, efficiency, being able to get into bases easier, etc
-machine gun sentry: after the buff, it became the ultimate jack-of-all-trades strategem.
Strategy:
-Try to avoid any and all patrols that you come across; you are not well equipped for that. You can avoid all patrols if you use the scout passive’s ping radar (seriously, this passive can make you practically omnipotent if played right.)
-When dealing with small bases, the sentry can easily deal with the smaller enemies already in there.
Try replacing sentry with HMG emplacement, more control over aggro and handles a lot of stuff well, including gunships.
Thank you, this play- I mean, battletype is very intriguing to me. Congratulations, you have stirred a new way for me to dispense democracy.
I enjoy stealth a lot. So this is really helpful on what to do as a sabotuer thwnk you!
I have never used smoke stratagems yet. After seeing your vid, now I want to try it out. Lot of good tips. -thumbsup-
I play a similar build but I swap out a few things.
These are Really good tips to know, thanks for sharing 👍
the 380 barrage is a good throw and forget base killer, you toss one into a large base and it will either fully destroy it or severely cripple it allowing your teammates to move in and finish off whats left as well as collect samples. i usually use the 380 when im running saboteur, this is another option to use outside the orbital laser.
I'm glad to see my typical playstyle is being highlighted.
Great channel you have here man.
This essentially is godmode for stealth, you can make bots dance to your tune all day long
Oh another tip that works for resupplying away from your team: type the code get it in your hands but don't throw. Have any of the other 3 call it down where they are. After it's landed, throw yours, there ya go everyone gets it. Wham bam thank you ma'am! Oh and you can have all 4 players do it, just one at a time
That is a really really good tip! Thanks!
@@runnergo1398 np it's one of the few "exploits" I use to my advantage because it doesn't hurt anyone's experience and so far of the 30 or so people I've taught in games, every single one appreciated the tip 🤣

@@Pyromaniac77777 I don't even understand why the devs don't just let the rearm stategem be an each person thing in the first place.

I use a similar load out to yours, diff primary /sec and I used eagle smokes, been torn but i figured i can abuse the spammable smoke and lower cd xD
You made a force recon! I am a bit torn on using the orb laser at times for pugs since uh... some will forget the objective and just engage lol
Eravin: “Stay out of sight, attack by stratagem”
CommisarKai: “Support your team, lose your tail”
This gameplay is literally the best mindset of playing against the bots. Try to destroy as fast as possible, and avoid any form of engagement as best as possible.
Best in general, we aren't line troops, we are shock troops at best
CommissarKai drops a nother vid is must watch yt. Quality content as usual.
I love playing the sneeky diver. They always hate me until I show myself and wipe an entire attack or base and I walk out of the flames!
I absolutely love how in character helldivers fans get.
I like to imagine the Commissar is recording these videos mid-fight, his allies on comms channel being bewildered
I have been trying to form a stealth play style similar to this load out because I like smokes and I thank you for the help
