- This soap was inspired by the beauty of the night sky. It features several cold process techniques, including layers and embeds. The recipe is scented with Night Violet Fragrance Oil from the Celestial Collection and topped with stardust - aka Super Pearly White, Gold Sparkle, and Queen's Purple micas.

How is it that the melt and pour column embeds did not melt in the high heat of saponification?
Can you guys please get more of the mini molds in stock I'm inspired to do cold process soap inspired by Vincent van Gogh's Starry night and tried to get them when they came out but they sold out so quick that i didn't get a chance to order them.
I kept on laughing the whole time is she kept in the wiping down one side but not the other
Apparently she's not the only one with ocd. We were all cheering her on to wipe the black off the other side.

I am not normally bothered by that unless they tell us that it bothers them. Then I'm like JUST TURN THE MOLD. FIND THAT SPOT OR YOU'RE GOING TO BE SO MAD. *Sigh*

I was saying the same thing...I was like...does she not see that huge black splotch....
I feel like there’s not enough compliments on this soap design. It’s lovely! The moon and star embeds are very whimsical; I especially like the one star sticking up through the top of the last layer. The gradient layers, besides being great shades of purple, almost look like a hazy night landscape, and the splatters on the top make me think of stars as well. I enjoy the gold that was added there as an accent color, as it really ties everything together. It’s a very aesthetically pleasing bar.

No complaints, surely. Perhaps no compliments, but since everyone's talking about what they did and didn't like about what she did, I thought it wouldn't be amiss to mention the lovely design! ;)

Help. Your site offers new soap crafters an all in one place to go to find kits, ideas & supplies, but if we are return customers & want to participate in an easy cart fill of items, then want to remove what we don't need - It won't let you do that.?, & because you stand behind your products and show EXACTLY how to use them on TH-cam I still love you.

This looks really nice and appealing. I think I'll start with just one colour for the loaf and one crescent moon embed the first time I try. Maybe an activated charcoal black soap to really make that white moon *pop*. x

Love the look of this soap so much that when I get more advanced in making soap I'm going to give this one a go, I love the Starry Starry Night painting by Van Gogh and even though this soap doesn't look like it I will give that ago using the swirling coat hanger method,again when I'm more advanced at soap making.

Not on anyone's side but yall are givine Anne too much hate. Yes I was waiting for her to wipe that big splotch away too but perhaps she really didn't see it!! You can literally tell how much of a perfectionist she is when she has different brushes, containers, etc for different hues. She also goes from light to dark which is so pleasing! Whereas, royalty soaps goes from dark to light which irks me a lot. And why can't Anne plug her own products? She and her team probably worked so hard on it and released such a myriad of HIGH QUALITY soap making products that even royalty soap uses it. Anne's voice is also SO pleasing and the only thing I wish could be added is a camera shooting on top for a top view. I would binge watch that.
You can buy that clean up tool at a craft shop. It’s used for clay aka sculpting.

Hi I really love how you explain everything. I think your a great person. I am confused about the night sky. I thought you weren’t using any lye. I am probably wrong. I have been trying to make soap for a while. Not bad . I just can’t seem to make that frosting look? I know I am not doing it correct. I don’t have a scale yet or thermonuclear as of yet. Really haven’t had any problems. Again I am not sure. Perhaps you could give me some advice even though your videos are fantastic. Thanks🌻

Yes, definitely, but it might sweat and you might have to melt your m.a.p in little batches because it hardens faster

Hi there newbie question 🚨 can I use a blender or a stand mixer to mix soap or is there a reason you use the immersion blender?
Daniel Sarnik I guess it’s because of possible splashing. Plus the stick blender is cheaper, easier to store and clean between colours - you cant use it ever again for food, so it’s seems enough reason for me.
And air bubbles are a problem with them. But they have $20 immersion blenders at Walmart or check thrift stores. I found one for only $7 at a thrift store.
