I’ve,stopped doing push-ups a year ago because my wrist started hurting from when I used to work in a warehouse. So Parallettes have been a life changer
Handstand push-ups do target your shoulders, but there are easier exercises out there if your only interested in muscle growth. You can try out Pike push-ups, they are easier to balance meaning you’ll be able to focus on tempo and maintaining proper form.
@@BMXisgud don't use books..it's not work and worth it, we use parallettes to decrease the chances of wrist injury...if you don't have paralettes now, then it's replacement should be not books,, you can make your parallettes at home..(it's worth it. bro trust me) or work on wrist mobility..do proper warmup and stretch your wrist properly.

You can use dumbbells as parallets if you're at the gym, especially the hexagon shaped ones
