      @uBreeze ปีที่แล้ว +757

      @@vukvla2046 What? Have you done any research or literally have any sources to back up that? Minimal research on screens will tell you that is the opposite from the truth. In a prevalently RGB color scaling, blue light damages the retina and causes significant eye strain, which makes it more difficult to sleep. When "white" is the maximum amount of blue light and "black" is zero blue light, dark colors are simply less damaging to the eyes and mitigates strain. Don't be silly and spend your time criticizing other people in zones you are completely uninformed about.

I like to "track" various cars going by or anything that I catch moving really, or snapping my eyes from light to light, just picking random points of references to go between as I walk by. I started watching this everyday at x1.25 speed right before beginning my first match of whatever FPS I'm playing first that night. I am a Lazer. Enemy's have become a representation of a dot to me. Almost all peripheral vision, I can blank stare within a 3 square inch space on my monitor and just delete enemies. Try for yourself, don't get sweaty with it, stay calm and let your reflex and muscle memory build up.

    Ty Ottr! I think this exercise took my aiming to a whole new level. I have been hitting kovaaks consistently and are halfway to plat in voltaic benchmarks, and I do think I have decent aim in game. But after doing this, my target acquisition and weirdly enough trigger discipline has skyrocketed! Aiming has never felt this good!

      that's amblyopia. This type of exercise helps, but in my opinion exercises with physical objects (not on screen, so there is variable depth) helps better. Some exercises are as easy as just using fingers (usually these exercises involve a pen, but using a finger suffices)

    For those who play Valorant and has a problem with predicting where the dots go instead of following the dot:
    Go to practice range and just set the bot to hard. Track the bots heads with your eyes and don't shoot, don't move, don't aim. You can also set Eliminate 50 and enable bots strafing, same as last time don't shoot, don't move, just track with your eyes.

    Is it just me or does anyone else find the vertical tracking a LOT more difficult than the horizontal? The fast vertical I find impossible to keep up.

    • @Noxsue
      @Noxsue ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I know this is 5months old but, yes me too, I believe it could be because when you look at a monitor it’s wider than tall, and typically in life we see more things moving horizontally than vertical… But what do I know :)

    • @ej22_gc86
      @ej22_gc86 ปีที่แล้ว

      Could also be that usually your targets/enemies usually move along the horizon more so you really don’t need to look up or down nearly as much

    • @konstantinos433
      @konstantinos433 ปีที่แล้ว

      its because you are also using your wrist to track horizontally vs up/down is mostly done by your arm

      Tracking with your eyes. I'm no pro and this is just my opinion, but I feel like it's more beneficial to focus on one sense at a time. Practicing in the firing range is good for warmups but for being an overall better player I think it's best to focus on each sense individually, making it easier to find your flaws.
