It's interesting how this all grew. Originally, Sith had nothing to do with the force at all. Apparently "The dark lord of the sith" was something Lucasfilm threw in and didn't know (at the time) what it even meant, save that it was Vader's title. One of the expanded universe writers, Timothy Zahn, wanted to actually introduce the Sith, that had nothing to do with Force at all: Dark lord of the Sith was honorific granted solely to Darth Vader because he had led military campaign to conquer them and leading the survivors to worship Vader. He was vetoed by lucasfilm but Zahn later used same background for Noghri. starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Noghri Lucasfilms vetoed of Zahn's plans was probably because they had another project underway to use the Sith. I can't remember if other expanded universe novels or comics made mentions of the Sith, but the second time I heard them mention in old canon was "Tales of the Jedi" comic that concentrated on the great hyperspace war and fall of the Sith empire. This was as the force using Sith humanoids we know from "The old republic" except that they originally became extinct, and officially Exar Kun and Ulic qel droma were the last sith lords. Palpatine and Vader supposedly weren't sith at all, although both were extremely powerful dark side users. I guess that it was George Lucas's original intention was that evil survives always, even if it changes shape. But obviously he thought that The Jedi as an organization needed a counter, so he made Sith order what they are now.
So here's what I got from the video. Correct me if i'm wrong In terms of rank hierarchy pre-bane and what their Jedi equivalent would roughly be it's: 1) Dark lord of the sith = Jedi Grandmaster 2) Sith lord = Jedi Master 3) Sith Marauder/Sith Inquisitor/Sith Assassin = Jedi Knight 4) Sith Acolyte = Padawan 5) Sith Minion = Youngling? I’d say Emperor= Grand Master Emperor’s Wraith =Master of the order Dark Lord of the Sith = Jedi Master Sith Lord= Jedi Knight Class: Sith Warriors =Jedi Guardian Sith Inquisitor = Jedi Counselor Sith Assassins= Jedi Shadow Sith Acolyte= Jedi Padawan and younglings Now Idk what’s equal to Jedi Sentinel but my guess is a sith Juggernaut. With the rule of two, every generation of Sith will be stronger. If the Apprentice kills his master it means that he is stronger than his master and can train the next Sith, if he is not able to kill his master he will be switched for a new one or has to learn more and train more. The Rule of two has the goal to make the strongest Sith possible to come back from their exile. This is as far as i know
Quite ironic, considering the original Sith order with thousands of members spawned the two most powerful sith to ever live, The Emperor's Second Wrath and Emperor Vitiate. I love Luke and Vader and all. But Vitiate could literally destroy the entire galaxy. I mean, there's OP and then there's OP. Vitiate is just in a class of his own.
The idea behind the rule of two would be that the apprentice would eventually become more powerful than the master, take their place, find their own apprentice, then that apprentice becomes more powerful and takes their place, etc. Over time, the Sith would become progressively more powerful until one day someone would be powerful enough to take down the Republic. That person was Palpatine. What always bugged me about that idea though was that really he did it more through politics rather than sheer power (although he did prove himself to be more powerful than any Jedi of the time of course, so really no one could stop him).
Don't take SWTOR into account, technicly Revan and Nihilus aren't "true" sith from SWTOR account. Yet, they still technicly did the rule of Two from some part.
Really good video, I like the extended universe stuff because it's cool to see a time where there were a lot of sith and Jedi. That old republic trailer with the giant battle in the temple blew my mind.
The “Sith lore and philosophy” idea always seems funny to me: “in between butchering children and destroying worlds, these murderous dark-side users were surprisingly bookish, and have been known to pass the time reading, meditating, and composing poetry about the health benefits of anger, hate and suffering.”
We sith activity sought out knowledge as knowledge is another form of power. Some of us went so far as to hoard it, only letting the information they collected to be passed along over their rotting carcasses. Holocrons, datacrons, scrolls, books, you name it. Even stone tablets in the great tombs on Korriban.
I literally just subscribed to your channel because of the video you put on The Stupendous Wave's channel, and was just finishing his videos when my computer shut down. I restarted it, and the first thing that came up in my feed was this video

Yeah that's a very good question. Robot Arms and legs and can save you from pretty much burning in lava(if you count the Force Unleashed you can survive the vacuum of space too!) but eyes? Nope! Maybe they are expensive or something,or just too hard to do.
Clumsy0015 True. Perhaps they have already mastered seeing through the force, which gives them much more "vision" than any cybernetic eye could give them. And if we're going off of Kanan then I guess he isn't able to get any(you know being a Rebel and all)
It is something to do with keep the body in balance with the light side of the force. Jedi would just train themselves to see through the force. Kanan from Star Wars Rebels, lost his eyesight and sees through the force. I think the jedi would use some cybernetics for injuries. Remember obi wan's comment about Darth Vader, being more machine than man. The jedi would be concerned with loosing their "humanity". Becoming more susceptible to the Dark Side. Notable jedi to have cybernetics, Ulic Qel-Droma, Anakin Skywalker, Luke Skywalker. Not sure about others in legends. Darksiders and Sith would willingly augment themselves with cybernetics. If it gives them an edge, power, etc.. Darth Skotia and Draagh (Darth Baras' apprentice) from The Old Republic, were heavily augmented.
In my opinion, this is more TYPES of Sith rather than ranks. Acolytes, in the old republic era, ere essentially pre-apprentice younglings without being, well, young. Apprentices were the equivalent of Padawans, Sith lords Jedi knights and equivalents in the order, and Darths Jedi Masters. Warrior, marauder, etc., were styles/roles/so on. Aside from that, I find it’s accurate.
Apprentice, Padwan, Knight. From Knight they could train younglings, and upon those apprentices promotion to Knight would be considered for Master. Upon becoming a Knight the Jedi was tasked with choosing a field of study. Jedi Guardians focused on combat and were usually tasked with ridding the galaxy of the dark side. Jedi Sentinels focused on both combat and Force usage. They were the mediators, diplomats, and other such functions; however, whose main tasks were to heal and maintain peace within the galaxy. Jedi Temple Guards could also be taken from this rank if they so chose and would be tasked with protecting the Jedi temple and places that held important jedi knowledge. Lastly their was the jedi consular who mainly focused on learning and utilizing the force. They served as the researchers, healers, and seer's of the Jedi and shied away from most of the combat aspects of being a jedi. Upon training an apprentice to knighthood, a jedi knight would be considered for promotion to Jedi Master; however, the promotion depended on the ruling Jedi Council as well as passing an exam similar to ,yet much more difficult than, the one taken by apprentices to reach knighthood. Council members were Jedi masters who presided over the Jedi order. These jedi councils, not to be confused with the High Jedi Council, usually controlled the jedi on any given planet/ training academy and ensured any local problems were taken care of as well as following the directives of the ruling council. The way one was appointed to the Jedi Council was by the other council members nominating and voting someone in. Each council member had term limits that forced them to leave the council every 7 years. High Jedi Council Members were Jedi Masters who presided over the ENTIRE Jedi Order. This council, usually based on the Jedi's homeworld and later at the heart of the Republic ( Coruscant in the Prequel's) governed the whole of the Jedi Order; however, the way one becomes a Jedi Council member on the High council is the same as getting unto lower councils. The main difference is that some members of the High Council do not suffer term limits. These Jedi, 3 in total, are allowed to stay on the council indefinitely. The way to achieve this is becoming either the greatest swordsman in the order, becoming the most knowledgeable in the force, or becoming the Grand Master of the Jedi Order. The last 2 people to hold these titles before Order 66 was Master Mace Windu, and Master Yoda respectively with Master Yoda holding both (and near the Clone Wars all 3) of the previously mentioned titles. Grand Master of the Order. This was the leader of the council and de facto leader of the Jedi Order. To earn this title one had to be a master with exceptional combat skills as well as extensive knowledge of the light side of the force as well as a record of resisting and defeating the dark side of the force. This title was given after a vote of the Jedi council, or in the case of Luke Skywalkers case because he was the strongest/ last jedi alive. Before Order 66, Master Yoda served as Grand Master of the order for at least 3 centuries.
RenegadeElite101 you could also get the title grandmaster if you find a planet to example Satela shan became grandmaster when she discoverd the anciet planet of the jedi
You did forget a couple ones for TOR era. Emperor's Hand: A group of Sith that reported directly to Emperor Vitiate and were unknown to the rest of the Sith Empire. Emperor's Voice: The physical avatar for Darth Vitiate that spoke for him, same voice, different bodies. Emperor's Wrath: A Sith that was usually under the Warrior class that answered to the Emperor Vitiate and ONLY the emperor Vitiate.
I had to scroll too far down for this! And also the video says nothing about real Sith ranks like Massassi and Kissai. Damn I wish they made movies about the Old Republic or even earlier, that's the badass shit in the books, the saga era is just politics...
Malibu2g Yeah like I'm not bagging on them but honestly if they're gonna start a channel about facts then they really should check their facts. It's actually such a shame, they mean well but if they can't be arsed checking for facts why bother uploading? Like it's so obvious these aren't ranks. You don't even need to be a huge star wars fan to see it. They did a similar thing with the armies and what not and it's quite frustrating. But yes, I totally agree. The Old Republic was a fucking cool era
Redrexi I would prefer to be more in the middle. But if I had to choose between the two, I would go with being a sith, despite being more like a Jedi in real life. Sith seem to have more fun than Jedi, and also have cooler force abilities.
Jen'Ari-Asha well, firstly you're technically inaccurate- Mara jade did not ally herself with Luke skywalker and the Jedi until several years after the battle of endor, well after the establishment of the new republic and new Jedi order, meaning that there was no 'rebel alliance' to join. Secondly, she will kill you for that.
BritanniaGamer Firstly, I don't care. New Republic, Rebel alliance. They're essentially the same thing. Secondly, I find it hard to believe she can kill me considering. Y'know. She's as dead as a doornail
Well you missed some ranks during the vitiate order Era The Emperor Voice/Wrath/Hand of the emperor The head of the dark Council and Dark Council Darth Sith Lord Sith Master Sith Overseer Sith Inquisitor Sith Marauder/Juggernaut Sith Sorcerer/Assassin Sith Knight Sith Apprentice Sith Acolyte Grothu (also known as Slave) I probably missed some myself but these I remembered right away. Keep up the good work, I enjoy and love your videos!!!
Hey fact free dudes! Can you do these vids: 1)what happened to kamino after the clone wars? 2)what happened to jabbas palace after ep 6 3)why the empire didn't use battle droids? 4)what happened to the planet where the battle between the nightsisters and the CIS battled? 5)what happened to the bounty hunters after the clone wars? 6)what happened to the vehicles of the clones after the clone wars? 7)what happened to pandora after the battle of endor? 8)what happened to boba after ep 6 9)who was lumiya/aka the female sixth who used a light whip? 10)who was dathamir? And what was he?
The TIE pilot in this gave me flashbacks to the PC video game, and how you could achieve new ranks within the Empire shown by receiving electrified tattoos
He hasn't played the game yet, so it would be fairly difficult. If you need a quick overview, watch the Journal of Master Gnost-Dural on youtube. Its released by Bioware and its like 40 minutes long. It gives a good overview of the Old Republic.
+Random King What Jen said, I haven't played the game nor read any of the old republic comics/books, so I can't really do any too in depth videos on it atm. I plan to binge read/play the old republic games this summer hopefully :).
Emperor, Voice and Wrath Of Emperor, Darth (Dark Lord of The Sith) - 12 council members and Emperor, Lord, Apprentice. Easy as that, idk where you got the rest of those ranks. Oh yeah, swtor, those are classes but not fucken titles ...
Actually, Sith Warriors and Inquisitors were not ranks, but classes of Sith. The ranks were Dark Lord of the Sith, Darths, Acolytes/Adepts and Minions. Any of the ranks could be Warriors or Inquisitors
probably because if they did it would bring much more trouble, think about it: If someone tries to bully others into doing their bidding it will only stir resentment and sooner or later that resentment will be their downfall BUT if they show themselves as "friends" and gently push others towards what they want then they will have a much easier time ruling even if it's a dictatorship
Next is the Sith Driver, they serve as a sith transporter. Mastering the art of transporting an individual sith from point to point in the fastest way possible. . Next is the Sith Creep, they serve as a spy, that spy on every sith in a creeping way. The goal is to increase annoyance which boost anger. . Next is Sith B!tch, their job is to complain about unnecessary subject in front of the sith that he/she just met randomly. They are the master of talk and reasoning with unpleasant attitude, and also screaming and sulking. Making a sith angry is one of the sith philosophy.
This was a great video but some of the info was a little off especially for the vitiate era empire. The ranks and titles are actually Acolyte: Sith who are in training at the academy but have not yet graduated and become Full fledged Sith Overseers: Sith who have graduated but may not have been worthy enough to become apprenticed to dark lords so they are given positions as instructors at the academy training acolytes. Sith Apprentice: Sith who graduated the academy and have been apprenticed to higher ranking Sith in order to further their training. Sith Lord: Accomplished sith who have become masters of the dark side and have been promoted from apprentice Darth: The most powerful Sith. Dark Council: not really a rank but are the 12 most powerful sith who rule the empire as in the name of the emporor, Always a Darth The others are not actually ranks or title but simply groups in which an individual sith may or may not belong to, and normally hold one of the previously mentioned titles, but not always. Last but not least Dark Jedi are NOT sith in any way shape or form. Dark Jedi is just a blanket term used to describe dark side force users who are not part of the sith order, and not all dark jedi are former jedi. Yes Dark jedi often work with, or are used by the sith. But they are not sith themselves. Other than that I do say this was a great video with a lot of info, new fans can find helpful and informative. Keep up the good work. :)
To be more precise, during the Sith Empire era, the ranks/titled of the sith were: acolytes (the equivalent of jedi younglings), apprentices (the equivalent of the padawan), lords (equivalent of the knight) and darths (the equivalent of masters. All that extra floof: warriors, marauders, juggernauts, inquisitors etc; they're all sub titles, but they're still considered sith lords
So I don’t have any reason to do this but this is what I believe each rank is equal to. Jedi rank vs Sith Ranks (The Sith Empire) Grand Master = Emperor Master of the Order= Emperor’s Wraith Jedi Master= Dark Lord of the Sith Jedi Knight= Sith Lord Padawan/ Youngling= Sith Acolyte Classes: Jedi Guardian= Sith Warrior Jedi Counselor= Sith Inquisitor Jedi Shadow= Sith Assassin I don’t know what’s equal to Emperor’s Voice or a Jedi Sentinel.
I like the way Sith are more organized than most people know and think. They were always trying to build and empire and rule the other Sith. Why would they always try to rule an empire and why would the Jedi always rivals with them?
HEY man! love the channel really getting into star wars lately. Just wondering, would it be possible for you to created 2 separate playlists on your channel, one with Canon lore, the other with EU? (maybe a third for the vids that fall in the middle) Only because I really want to know the canon lore and not the fan-fiction (even though some of it is great)
Well, for one, GE Inquisitors were extremely limited in their training, because of palpatines fear of force sensitives, sith inquisitors had no such limitations and were somewhat forced to grow in power, or die.
I standby my belief that by far the most interesting time period for the sith was the Old Republic. Not only because having more then one or two sith of itself is more interesting but constant political games being played and the different ranks and the structure made it actually feel like an empire.
Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise? I thought not. It's not a story the Jedi would tell you. It's a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life... He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful... the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. It's ironic he could save others from death, but not himself.
These are their titles: Apprentice: you started s career as sith Rookie: not too bad, you killed a Jedi Warrior: you’re sure good at killing Knight: you obtained a lot of skill from this point Inquisitor: you really love to murder Sith master: your hatred has took control of you Sith Lord: you’re addicted to it Jedi: Youngling/apprentice: you started your career as Jedi Force sensitive: you started to feel it Knight: you completed your training Battlemaster: you love war Master: you are ready to train others Council: you have the trust of the highest ones Templars: you have the high ground, congratulations
I have a question. If you hold two lightsabres close two each other, turned off and having the points where the blades come out pointing at each other but placed a few centimetres or something away from eachother and turn them on at the same time what would happen.
Seeing how two lightsaber blades deflect each other, they would just bounce each other back. Or if one blade came out a bit quicker than the other, then it would destroy the other lightsaber's hilt.
But, like, could there not be anything to stop then from deflecting eachother, or is the reflection that powerful when they are not head on. BTW thanks for responding I love your videos
Oh if they were fixed into place when this happened. Then I'm not exactly sure what would happen lol, maybe they would both start coming out but once they hit each other, they would stop and stay in place, even if the blades are not fully out. Or maybe they would just short circuit as a result.
I find it funny how the EU started most of this based on the movies, in other words: Yoda's comment on "always two there are", yet without _ever_ bothering to consider the possibility that Yoda could have been wrong. Because: how much do Jedi actually know about the Sith (and vice versa)?
There definitely needs to be a stand alone sith movie. This is all so interesting
I do so agree. Maybe starting back at their origin, in the hunderd years darkness, since Disney made that officially canon recently!
It's interesting how this all grew. Originally, Sith had nothing to do with the force at all. yes I been waiting for so long.title would be dark lords of the sith.Show everything it takes to become a sith I long to see true sith training
yep I think the naga sadow times would be amazing. make it an 18 though :)
Definitely it would be cool to see a film from the Sith point of view especially if it was set in the Old Republic era when they were much stronger
So here's what I got from the video. Correct me if i'm wrong
In terms of rank hierarchy pre-bane and what their Jedi equivalent would roughly be it's:
1) Dark lord of the sith = Jedi Grandmaster
2) Sith lord = Jedi Master
3) Sith Marauder/Sith Inquisitor/Sith Assassin = Jedi Knight
4) Sith Acolyte = Padawan
5) Sith Minion = Youngling? No real equivalent
Post-Bane
1) Sith Master/Sith Lord = Jedi Grandmaster
2) Sith Apprentice/Sith Lord = Jedi Knight.Master
3) Dark Side Adapt = Jedi Knight/Padawan
Sidious ranks
1) Sith Master/Sith Lord
2) Sith Apprentice/Sith Lord
3) Dark Side Adapt/Inquisitor
4) Dark Side Adapt/prophets of the dark side
5) Dark Side Adapt/Emperor's Hands/Emperor's Reach/Emperor's Eyes
6) Dark Side Adapt/Shadow Guard
Lost Tribe of the Sith
1) Grandlord
2) High lord
3) Sith Sabers
4) Sith Tyro
One Sith
1) Darth
2) Fist
3) Hands
4) Voice
5) Inquisitors
6) Lore-Masters
7) Sith Intellegence Agent.
Ranking them all together
1) Dark Lord of the Sith/Sith Master/Grandlord/Darth (only under the one sith)
2) Dark Lord of the Sith/Sith Apprentice (under rule of two)/ High Lord
3) Sith Marauder/Sith Inquisitor (only under pre-bane)/Sith Assassin/Sith Sabers/Fist/Hand/Voice
4) Sith Acolyte/Dark Side Adapt/Inquisitor (Palpatine's version)
5) Prophet of the darkside/emperor's hand/reach/eye/Sith Tyro/Inquisitors (under one sith)/shadow guard
6) Sith intelligence agent (under one sith)
7) Sith Minion
I’d say Emperor= Grand Master
Emperor’s Wraith =Master of the order
Dark Lord of the Sith = Jedi Master
Sith Lord= Jedi Knight
Class:
Sith Warriors =Jedi Guardian
Sith Inquisitor = Jedi Counselor
Sith Assassins= Jedi Shadow
Sith Acolyte= Jedi Padawan and younglings
Now Idk what’s equal to Jedi Sentinel but my guess is a sith Juggernaut.
I’m not doing this to correct you it’s just how I would do it. Technically the emperor rules all sith like a Grandmaster runs the Jedi order. Although the emperor was an nearly unbeatable figure.
That’s the old republic Idk about the rule of two or legacy.
They need to make a new trilogy series about the sith that predates the prequels
Sith ranks
1. master
2. apprentice
Butt Face Only after Darth Bane :)
billy zane One to embody the power, and one to crave it.
@Tim Burning nope not with my Empire
Two there shall be.
10 000 Jedi
2 Sith
Yoda : Perfectly balanced as all things should be
7:28 "even torture"
I would expect torture to be the bare minimum to qualify for this position.
Hahahahaha!! No kidding!
Welp time to start my own Sith empire, who's with me
Me bitch
I'm down!! I'm goal is just to either A) create a second dark saber or B) kill the person that have it
Obviously me boi
Let's do it. The Jedi will burn from the hate of the Sith!
I'm in for this
When The Last Jedi Comes out
I've seen this raw anger from fans only once before.
Flashback to 1999
It didn't scare me enough then. It does now.
Disney = Train wreck
The Sith is better than the Knights of Ren.
Very
Knight of ren's number are only a few while sith empire is too overwhelming than knight of ren, See when kylo ren was beaten by rey? yeah, Even master of the ren was beaten by untrained force sensitive Lol.
that's because kylo ren is still in training stage
Kreia: "The Sith is an idea"
Kylo ren is trash he will just die trying to be like vader
*R Rated Sith movie with Keanu Reeves.*
Wake the fuck up, my apprentice. We have Jedi to burn.
Disney hears R rated and runs away
Mr. Allen Keanu reeves as revan
So you want a Movie based on Revans story, because he would fit him the most? Nice mate I’m in :D
Darth Revan? I'm in
I love Star Wars, but the rule of two always bugged me. If your apprentice is going to try to kill you eventually, why bother training apprentices?
Well, Palpatine killed Darth Plagueis while he slept. Also Mace Windu clearly beat him in combat.

Pain and pleasure...go together!
Darth Sidious...probably.🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hey, the Order originated as the Dark side equivalent of the Jedi and the Republic they serve, after all
Oh so that’s where “Darth” comes from
“DARk lord of the siTH”
Not originally, but it was used to fit that word later on.
Darth is German for Dark actually
Danish
Galen Marek thanks for the correction
@@galenmarek8287 its German for "Danish"? What bs is this!!!
I literally just subscribed to your channel because of the video you put on The Stupendous Wave's channel, and was just finishing his videos when my computer shut down. I restarted it, and the first thing that came up in my feed was this video
I guess that's fate telling you to watch my videos lol.
I plan to watch every video and ask any questions which I feel like need asking. I'm looking forward to this
Fact Free
It was the Force guiding you.
That was a really well made, and informative video. Thank you.
Can you go all Jedi ranks and titles as well?
I plan to, yes :)
In canon, and the way it should only be. There are
Youngling -- Kids training
Padawan -- Younglings are at an age and skill, where they get assigned to a master
Knight -- Regular jedi

+John “Captain” Silver I prefer Legends
there is also "sword of the jedi"
+Roberto Santiago same
Why when i jedi or sith get blind ,why they never use cibernetic eyes?
Good question
Yeah that's a very good question.
Robot Arms and legs and can save you from pretty much burning in lava(if you count the Force Unleashed you can survive the vacuum of space too!)
but eyes?
Nope!
Maybe they are expensive or something,or just too hard to do.
TheCommunistDragon51 Even Clone Troopers are given access to them
Clumsy0015
True.
Good video now i realy want to see all Jedi ranks and titles as well
Apprentice, Padwan, Knight.
Datch i
RenegadeElite101 you could also get the title grandmaster if you find a planet to example
Satela shan became grandmaster when she discoverd the anciet planet of the jedi
Join the Dark side we train you stronger, faster, and even powerful
Join the jedi order we train you to have the High ground
7:31 The Lore Masters,
I know which Sith that this channel would love to be. Sith Lord Master.
Keep up the great videos and work Fact Free! Dang I got to post a comment really early.
Thank you so much :)
Fact Free is there a jedy wranks video?
& will eu do mandalore & deathwatch after the clonewars
Absolutely super video, I love the style, no-nonsense narrative style, the artwork, music, and videos are all on key.
Outstanding!
A lot of these aren't ranks. They're specialisations.
Lmao there's star wars books that we go by you are NOT FANs
@Somali Kid except they aren't titles either. They're specializations, classes, roles - whatever you want to call them.
@@Kalabrese119 Which sith empire held the rank " Kissai " and " Massassi " ? i am curious
I Love how you went though SWTOR
I would be an Assassin. That is all I wished to say.
Thank you for finally doing the One Sith ranks :)
Could you do a video on what happened in pre original trilogy Star Wars before the release of the prequels?! Thanks!! Love your vids
I second this!
Watch star wars rebels
I think I know why the channel is called the lore master
If fact free replies I will go crazy.
You're going crazy ;)
EFIOUFHOIGHJNIOGJ8ER9T7U94580WUJITFJGV90EAUIÅG9VIJMRU8VGH4798H7JT
Also, if you could be a sith or a jedi which one would you be?
Redrexi I would prefer to be more in the middle. But if I had to choose between the two, I would go with being a sith, despite being more like a Jedi in real life. Sith seem to have more fun than Jedi, and also have cooler force abilities.
Fact Free Can you do all clone army ranks
I would love to see a movie or series on the Sith Academy
Wtf TH-cam, why did you make me unsubscribe from Fact Free? I watch it almost daily
Yeah, that seems to be an ongoing glitch.
have you done a video on mara jade yet?
Honestly, I just want to hear you talk about mara jade- she's that fucking cool.
Bah! She is part of the rebel alliance and a traitor!
Y'know. She's as dead as a doornail
third: SHE KICKED A RANCOR ASS!
Kuro Nyra thank you!
I love how after ROTJ legends just goes completely wacky and it’s great
Well you missed some ranks during the vitiate order Era
The Emperor
Voice/Wrath/Hand of the emperor
The head of the dark Council and Dark Council
Darth
Sith Lord
Sith Master
Sith Overseer
Sith Inquisitor
Sith Marauder/Juggernaut
Sith Sorcerer/Assassin
Sith Knight
Sith Apprentice
Sith Acolyte
Grothu (also known as Slave)
I probably missed some myself but these I remembered right away. Keep up the good work, I enjoy and love your videos!!!
Aaaaaaah,it's been a whole year since I was an acolyte...good times on Korriban and Dromund Kaas.
This is what we need to see on screen, the Old Republic (film or series).
That and a Revan movie trilogy sounds good.
The paintings & drawings starting at 6:30 are absolutely awesome, anyone knows where they come from ?
A comics series or something maybe ?
The darth Krayt comic series
Excellent, thanks, I'll try looking for them !
Hey fact free dudes! Can you do these vids:
1)what happened to kamino after the clone wars?
2)what happened to jabbas palace after ep 6
3)why the empire didn't use battle droids?
4)what happened to the planet where the battle between the nightsisters and the CIS battled?
5)what happened to the bounty hunters after the clone wars?
6)what happened to the vehicles of the clones after the clone wars?
7)what happened to pandora after the battle of endor?
8)what happened to boba after ep 6
9)who was lumiya/aka the female sixth who used a light whip?
10)who was dathamir? And what was he?
Why did sith had name with darth something but Jedi don't have a special name?
Claiming the "Darth" title was essentially a way of asserting dominance over other Sith. The Jedi naturally didn't bother with such a convention.
"Darth" means "Dark" and is often a "Noble's title" for the sith
Darth = DArk lord of the siTH
Peng Lucas they do, but they don't use it as they name. It's there as a rank like Jedi master.
Peng Lucas EVERYONE SUBSCRIBE TO MY CHANNEL AND YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT
The TIE pilot in this gave me flashbacks to the PC video game, and how you could achieve new ranks within the Empire shown by receiving electrified tattoos
Can you do the history of the Old Republic? That would awesome.
Fact Free Awesome!
yeah the old republic has some of my favorite stories from the star wars universe
Random King
I would hold the title Dark Lord of the Sith. Keep up the good work and may the force be with you
Emperor, Voice and Wrath Of Emperor, Darth (Dark Lord of The Sith) - 12 council members and Emperor, Lord, Apprentice. Easy as that, idk where you got the rest of those ranks. Oh yeah, swtor, those are classes but not fucken titles ...
Dude is explaining the SWTOR classes like it's high lore. What a guy.
Actually, Sith Warriors and Inquisitors were not ranks, but classes of Sith. The ranks were Dark Lord of the Sith, Darths, Acolytes/Adepts and Minions. Any of the ranks could be Warriors or Inquisitors
All CIS droid types with legends information? Plus I love this channel!!!!
Legends was so amazing such a shame that Disney cut out this part of the universe.
Brilliant video. I didn't know the dark side was so intricate in ranks.
Sith should be happy a master didn’t accidentally die before finding an apprentice
Marquis Steward imagine lol
We had Emperor's Hands ,Voice and Wrath during the old republic era too
Funny thing, no matter how dark an empire may actually be, they almost never market themselves as evil. No one thinks they're the bad guy
probably because if they did it would bring much more trouble, think about it: If someone tries to bully others into doing their bidding it will only stir resentment and sooner or later that resentment will be their downfall BUT if they show themselves as "friends" and gently push others towards what they want then they will have a much easier time ruling even if it's a dictatorship
Yet another awesome video. You were made to narrate vids man , keep it up :)
Hahaha😂
@Ember Wyvern07 that's just the sith bitch... but much older.😂
@@life_is_a_myth have you heard the Tale of Darth Karen, scourge of innocents and hunter of managers?
This was a great video but some of the info was a little off especially for the vitiate era empire.
The ranks and titles are actually
Acolyte: Sith who are in training at the academy but have not yet graduated and become Full fledged Sith
Overseers: Sith who have graduated but may not have been worthy enough to become apprenticed to dark lords so they are given positions as instructors at the academy training acolytes.
Sith Apprentice: Sith who graduated the academy and have been apprenticed to higher ranking Sith in order to further their training.
Sith Lord: Accomplished sith who have become masters of the dark side and have been promoted from apprentice
Darth: The most powerful Sith.
Dark Council: not really a rank but are the 12 most powerful sith who rule the empire as in the name of the emporor, Always a Darth
The others are not actually ranks or title but simply groups in which an individual sith may or may not belong to, and normally hold one of the previously mentioned titles, but not always.
1:03
Palpatine: We don't do that here
Great video! will you do knights of the eternal thronee gameplay?
How about lists of all known characters that had the "Darth" title? (Canon and Legends if possible)
7:30 So that's where the new name came from.
A video on all the known Emperor's Hands would be great
Hey fact free can you do a Jedi Ranks and titles video
this is amazing know what roles they had on Star Trek
7:30 The Lore Masters.....xD
So I don’t have any reason to do this but this is what I believe each rank is equal to.
Jedi rank vs Sith Ranks (The Sith Empire)
Grand Master = Emperor
Master of the Order= Emperor’s Wraith
Jedi Master= Dark Lord of the Sith
Jedi Knight= Sith Lord
Padawan/ Youngling= Sith Acolyte
Classes:
Jedi Guardian= Sith Warrior
Jedi Counselor= Sith Inquisitor
Jedi Shadow= Sith Assassin
I don’t know what’s equal to Emperor’s Voice or a Jedi Sentinel.
Retcon Jedi Sentinel= Sith Assassin
I like the way Sith are more organized than most people know and think. They were always trying to build and empire and rule the other Sith. Why would they always try to rule an empire and why would the Jedi always rivals with them?
HEY man! love the channel really getting into star wars lately.
Just wondering, would it be possible for you to created 2 separate playlists on your channel, one with Canon lore, the other with EU? (maybe a third for the vids that fall in the middle)
Only because I really want to know the canon lore and not the fan-fiction (even though some of it is great)
Sidious: you are here Anakin but I deny you the rank of master
Anakin: How is this fair, how can you be a darth and not a master of the darkside
New game: take a shot every time he says “sith”
What do you guy think would happen if the sith empire was still strong when Darth Bane was around instead of the brotherhood of darkness
The Lore Master is such a badass name for a boring job, it’s literally a Sith Librarian.
Money Making Marshall Oh, you mean like the channel you're watching? xD
Inquisitor of the Galatic Empire vs Inquisitor of the Sith Empire.
Dogsteeves sith empire would win hands down
I want a video where he explains the difference so i can use it for proof on facebook groups
Well, for one, GE Inquisitors were extremely limited in their training, because of palpatines fear of force sensitives, sith inquisitors had no such limitations and were somewhat forced to grow in power, or die.
Dogsteeves Different motivations, however I would say that SE Inquisitors had more time to develop their techniques.
Id be a Marauder/Inquisitor since I was a Jedi Shadow that used both a staff and dual lightsabers
It kinda weird that canon InquisitorS are literally the opposite of their legends counterparts
meaning?
I standby my belief that by far the most interesting time period for the sith was the Old Republic. Not only because having more then one or two sith of itself is more interesting but constant political games being played and the different ranks and the structure made it actually feel like an empire.
“The lore masters... that’s a cool title.”
-Fact Free...
-A.K.A. Lore master
Great video. You should do this with Jedi.
gotta love the Inquisitors
Could you please do Jedi ranks from the jedi order to the new Jedi in legends
I second that motion
These are their titles:
Apprentice: you started s career as sith
Rookie: not too bad, you killed a Jedi
Warrior: you’re sure good at killing
Knight: you obtained a lot of skill from this point
Inquisitor: you really love to murder
Sith master: your hatred has took control of you
Sith Lord: you’re addicted to it
Jedi:
Youngling/apprentice: you started your career as Jedi
Force sensitive: you started to feel it
Knight: you completed your training
Battlemaster: you love war
Master: you are ready to train others
Council: you have the trust of the highest ones
Templars: you have the high ground, congratulations
The left out the bukaki sith that was responsible of breeding a powerful class of sith from birth.
Always there are two of them, one student and one master!!!
"Do or do not, There is no try" -Yoda
"Just Do It" -Shia LaBeouf
"I've fallen and I can--" Oops wrong quote heh....
Mason Smith YODA I AM
"Yell at me you don't! Drunk i'm not!" -Yoda
"Gonk" - Gong droid
1:33 I know the one that made that design and it is fanmade. I think It is awesome :D
During Vitiate's Empire, there were more ranks. At least in the game:"Wrath/Voice etc
You are a member of the sith! You are a Lore Master!😱
FactFree I beleive you forgot Sith Dread Master.
Chancellor Palpy They weren't really a title.
You are the best youtuber ever
tried to take a shot every-time he says sith. Woke up in the ER.
😂😂😂
@0:49 I could have sworn it was MCU red skull and nearly crapped my pants
Well the Fist would be my Rank I could have my own Battalion under my command under the Influence of the SITH Dark lord
3:03
damn, when's their album coming out?
I have a question. If you hold two lightsabres close two each other, turned off and having the points where the blades come out pointing at each other but placed a few centimetres or something away from eachother and turn them on at the same time what would happen.
*?
Seeing how two lightsaber blades deflect each other, they would just bounce each other back. Or if one blade came out a bit quicker than the other, then it would destroy the other lightsaber's hilt.
But, like, could there not be anything to stop then from deflecting eachother, or is the reflection that powerful when they are not head on. BTW thanks for responding I love your videos
Oh if they were fixed into place when this happened. Then I'm not exactly sure what would happen lol, maybe they would both start coming out but once they hit each other, they would stop and stay in place, even if the blades are not fully out. Or maybe they would just short circuit as a result.
we need myth busters to test that tho
Do one for Jedi ranks! :)
I would hold the rank of Emperor of the Empire.
You wish...
I find it funny how the EU started most of this based on the movies, in other words: Yoda's comment on "always two there are", yet without _ever_ bothering to consider the possibility that Yoda could have been wrong. Because: how much do Jedi actually know about the Sith (and vice versa)?
acolite is sith academy student before bacaming sith
Fists? Voices? Literally went back thousands of years with these kind of ranks
