Standing desks are great. I got mine for free. At the beginning of COVID, I was driving by a set of office buildings in an industrial area and there where several of these standing desks lying near the big garbage bin. I managed to grab one as there were other people arriving with the same idea.😂 It’s not an automatic desk. You have to adjust it manually. feel my posture is better and standing desk is great for thinking and focus. I stand most of the day. It’s more of a struggle after leg day.
Loved the review and agree with all of the points that you said bar one. I’ve had a standing desk for about a month now and had the same issue as you did with focus and productivity waning as I sat for long periods of time. I found productivity and focus have increased significantly with the ability to stand - LOVE it!! What I didn’t agree with was about cable management being difficult with a sit/stand desk. I highly recommend getting the cable management system with power bars built it - it is worth the extra spend, and keeps everything looking clean and neat and minimalistic. Invest in that and I think you’ll feel differently about cable management with a sit/stand desk.
I've got a standing desk and I work from home. Standing desk is imperative to have. I would have back problems from sitting so much, now I don't have those back problems anymore. Standing desk allows me to move around and stretch more.
Just recently landed my first WFH job, so investing in a good setup early on feels appropriate for me. Researcing quite a bit right now on standing desks, your video was super informative, and very high in quality! Subbed! :)
I have a standing desk and I stopped using the "standing" function pretty quickly. Now I just use it in the sitting height and height that i can slide my chair underneath when Im done. Never really liked standing while doing computer stuff. I just keep stuff off my desk on purpose like my phone charger so Im forced to stand every so often.
@@dailyinspiration212 I found it. It’s the “Fully” Jarvis L desk in unpainted finish. They stopped making them. Herman Miller bought the “Fully” company and discontinued the product
The secret is a lap desk so that you can work while laying down. Also, you people have some damned strong pressure washer urethras if waking up at 8:57 is working for you.
Hi thanks for the video. What I am looking for is I have two laptops. I am Working with zoom. At a church meeting. With a big projector HDMI monitor. I also need to use the other. And I want to put that on the same screen at the same. As I am changing the HDMI 2 one computer to the other. So I have. PowerPoints. In different windows. Is there a way I can in a nutshell connect both computers. And put them both on the main projector screen. So I have full control using both laptops. As I can't find anything anywhere that suggest I do without using splitters which I don't. Because I need everything open at the same time on a big screen from the 2 laptops. As everything I'm doing on my personal computers everybody can see what's going on and that's not practical or professional please could you help all the steve
It's only worth it if you're a streamer who plays for the whole day. Imo it's not worth it. On side of exercise and weight loss, you should do that separately on your your breaks in working. It's worth it if you're going on a gaming marathon as a job. If there's a job that has you stuck on the chair for the whole day then you tell your boss to buy those standing desks. WEIGHT LOSS IS MAINLY ON YOUR DIET, NOT YOUR WORKSTYLE. IF YOU WANT TO LOSE SOME WEIGHT COUNT YOUR CALORIES AND BALANCE YOUR NUTRIENTS.

but standing is also creating problem with shoulder pain + wrist
What would you prefer, a standing desk vs an ergonomic chair
Both...you switch between thrm troughout the day
You have back problems because of your posture and lack of exercise and breaks. Your chair probably sucks.

That was nice of them. HM makes some nice products, but there business practices are increasingly upsetting.
How you gonna talk about a desk, show it in frame the whole video, and not mention which one YOU have?
Just the fact you have been using it for 4 years is pretty much a testament to it being a good option

After the time you have been using the LG C2, do you recommend it as the main monitor for productivity?
