    Today I go over the WestForce Electric Pressure Washer & Active VE52 Pressure washer. I wanted to kind of highlight both and why I think both awesome units. I think everyone will enjoy seeing the WestForce Side by side with the Active VE52. In another video I will show these units operating side by side. However today I wanted to talk and share my thought on them along with a few other things/tips I have learned and wish I knew sooner when I was starting out.

    Great comparison. Personally I love the Design and layout of the Active, seems like so many pressure washers have unnecessary bulk.

    Here is my test result with Active VE52, with the Tip comes with the unit (seller says the orifice size 1.25mm, I checked the nozzle table, it is about 3.7 nozzle), I was getting 1.86 GPM @ 900 psi. I ended up getting 3.5 nozzle which gives me 1.77 gpm @ 980 psi.
    According to your Westforce video, it is around 1.8 gpm @ 1,150 psi, then performance wise, the westforce one is better. The extra 200 psi really helps when it comes to foam

    • @peteross4879
      @peteross4879 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      From what I understand it’s the a combination of around 1,000-1500 psi with a 1.6 gpm or higher (the higher the gpm the better) that gives you better foam. The higher the psi and lower gpm will have you struggle to get good foam. Also depends on you soap, nozzle...

    Landon, could you demonstrate the PSI, GPM, and TSS on the Active when it is bucket-fed versus hose-fed. In the summer I use my 1700 Greenworks to foam then the battery-operated SunJoe SPX6001 w/ RO or distilled water rinse to avoid spots. But since the SunJoe is battery-operated, foaming with it is basically useless, and I have to refill the bucket with water when it runs out.
    The Active and WestForce are intriguing because of the bucket-feed function. I would be able to get rid of both the Greenworks and SunJoe or at minimum, keep the SunJoe as a back-up. Thoughts?

    Landon, one question : What is the Flexzilla 5' lead used for?

    • @el__2handed
      @el__2handed 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have the same lead hose as shown in the video and figured I'd chime in since Landon hasn't answered. I personally use it when the spigot and wall outlet are close enough together and I wouldn't need my longer garden hose to connect to the pressure washer. I have quick connects on the spigot and both my 50' garden hose and 5' Flexilla lead hose so I can easily switch them out.

    How is the Active VE52 holding up? Out of all the electric pressure washers I love the 5 piston pump design, its just better overall and the way everything hooks up to the Active VE5s is great feature, I'm going to make a purchase next week and just need to know how the durability, quality, and usage has been since you owned it? Thanks alot more than likely I'll go for the Active

      The active is a PoS, I have 2, both surge after releasing the trigger. 1st was replaced after it started doing this after 5 washes, they sent a replacement which started doing the same thing after 4 washes. Many people who bought this PoS washer are having the same issue.
      Active now claims that you're using it commercially and voids your warranty when you make a warranty claim. Having to dispute the charge with Mastercard. Don't buy this washer

      I bought an AR630TSS last week and used it once, its been great but I expected that as my 11 year old AR383 is still working like a champ.
      AR makes great pressure washers, was going to buy the AR630 over the summer but saw the Active on Obsessed Garage and thought that it performed similarly for $400 less. Two Active washers and $230 lighter ($230 wasted) I bought what I should have bought from the start.
      The Active is a horrendous PoS washer that will not last nor will Active stand behind it. I dont know why Matt at OG is pushing it because its a horrible machine from the standpoint of longevity. I'd say you get what you pay for but my AR383 was only $140 and its outlasted 2 Active VE52's by 10 years 11 months AND it still works today.
      I wont stray from AR again

    What am I missing. Im just messing with the WF hose, QD’s and gun. The male fits on the gun but the female QD end does not ( id too big) this is a 14 hose with the WF right? Edit: this is the one i got Prince Mark Ultimate Pressure Washer Adapter Set, Quick Disconnect Kit, M22 Swivel to 3/8" Quick Connect, 3/4" to Quick Release, 8-Pack www.amazon.com/dp/B07G19ZJVK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_TR-5EbBHV4KDR edit: x2 wtf ... my luck. Found my calipers and the female to hose is .600 or 15mm. Wait, i have a 15mm male for the Active coming ... i can use these with the Active hose, awesome.
