Thanks for the great reviews. After much research and watching your videos, I decided to go with the CAT.
I received the unit and one big issue I am having is it pops all my GFI outlets in the house after about 1 minute use. I have asked CAT about the issue and if I have to find a way to use it with my 15 amp non-GFI outlets (hard to get to and will have to use a short extension cord).
I've always considered myself more of a dog person, but I'd love to own that CAT, man. Seriously....great video as always.
Great videos man! They have really helped me out with understanding the pressure washer ratings and what I need for my goals around the house. For the car detailer who occasionally does around the house stuff which one do you recommend under $200? It has to be on a cart tho with wheels.

Is the water inlet connection 15mm as well? My understanding was all garden hoses are standardized thread?
I just bought this CAT unit because the Active VE52 is not available on Amazon right now but no big deal as this CAT unit is exactly the same unit. My question is about the foam cannon. I also bought a Trinova foam cannon to use with this unit but I'm concerned about the internal orifice size on the Trinova vs the one that comes with the unit. I really don't want to over stress the unit and drive the amps up if the Trinova orifice is smaller than the OEM foam cannon. Can you comment? I can't get the specs on the orifice in the Trinova or the OEM foamer.

I'd could really use this, been watching all your reviews today, and I'm looking at the royobi 1600, just a good price point for me, I'm a broke detailer that works at a dealership, and looking to do more side work and phase out my 9 to 5 at the dealership. Been doing this stuff for 20 years, and just never had the confidence do strike out on my own. Now is my time. Thanks for all these videos.

@@pnkpnthr80 I'm still at the dealership, but got a nice raise. I'm a flat rate employee so potential to make good money, I've made more then $30 an hr on real good days. Still doing the side work though. Just to risky for me to do my own full time. Mortgage, car payment, child support, and 2 kids with me to help support. Thanks for the positivity.

Hi there, would you recommend the Cat over the Active 2.0? I only use it to wash my cars at home and the yearly concrete cleaning at home to keep my home looking top notch. I just really want a pressure washer that is small and compact.
I am also gonna be using a higher quality hose with a QC and the smaller pressure washer gun with QC.

I have 3 different sets of spray nozzles that look like the ones you have but I looked with a magnifying glass to try to see if there were numbers on the nozzle for orifice size and there is only a degree size. How do you find out what the orifice size is?

So if I wanted to use the uber flex hose and I used the m 22 15 and 14 adapter for my Portland washer what piece would I need to quick connect the hose to the pressure washer?
i can't seem to get a 14mm-15mm adapter to work with any of my longer hoses.. everyone I try leaks.. what am I doing wrong?? HELP...

I want to buy the uber flex hose but I'm confused on how to connect the hose with quick connect. The uber flex hose m22x14mm, so if I buy the adapter which would be m22x15mm to 14mm how will I add the quick connect?

What’s the size of the outlet on the front where pressure washer hose Connects . I bought the 3/8 Inch Quick Connect Kit, M22 14mm to M22 and it’s to small.
I’m on my third one now. The other two broke within weeks of me using them. Maybe I’m doing something wrong but my Sunjoe lasted for over a year before it crapped out.
Would love to have this unit! Something so quiet and compact, but still gives close to 2.0 gpm! (Just have to get the 50’ hose to go with it)

Did you ever get a psi gauge on the Active ?
Kev on youtube, myself and others tried Matts recommended 4.0 nozzle and only got 750-800 psi. We needed a 3.5 to get 950 ish, but with that a slightly lower GPM. Ive been using the 4.0/40° tip for rinsing. The other two tips i run 3.5’s to get the higher psi. Matt got 1050 with the 4.0 tip... far different than what we are getting.
When i asked him and gave me a snide response and said the 4.0 was the correct tip... smh.
Makes me wonder if Active made sure OG got a unit with the best numbers .. i would if them lol. If he got a poor performing unit to test things would be much different.
