- 4 years of #vanlife!! Lots of highs and lots of lows. This is what I learned and why I quit. I loved it but it was time for the next chapter. ...And up next? A new daily driver for a bit more reliability and speed. But no I will not be selling my van. LONG LIVE PEANUT.

I left home at 18yrs old join the army saw the world learn so much food .traditions.music.drinks . learn how to hunt.fish. and servie. Then went and fought in Iraq.after that college in computer science now i just own my home and cars and im only 27yrs old
I think you made a good decision on (Oregon) I live in the Willamette Valley/ I keep a home base here/ and travel as much as I Need to/ (to clear my head). I have a 82 westy/ really enjoy it/ I am solo camping so pretty much can go were & when I want to go/ Good Luck to You/ Enjoy your journey 🤩
Love that! A home base and freedom to get out and explore/clear your head whenever you want is ideal in my opinion. :) healthy for the body and mind 💆🏼♀️ ..and thank you!

I'm happy I clicked on this when it showed up in my recommended. Your story really resonated with me. I am still in uni but have spent the last half year abroad, ending it with 5 weeks of solo vanlife in New Zealand. Now I am back in Europe and wondering whether vanlife would be something sustainable for me in the long term and your experience weighs out the pro's and con's clearly. Thanks!
