i love it when people live their life the way they want too. i'm going full time van life next year, i have a small van at the moment i travel in and will use it to live in for a year while i work and save for a bigger van then once i have the van ill go down to three days a week at work
Just binge watched pretty much all the videos. Been good reading the comments. As four months into my van life, I picked up lots of good tips from these videos. As my mwb sprinter is what I call bare bones. But no regrets so far. Thanks for your videos been a great watch
This guy deffo has the right idea! Really awesome build for sure. The pandemic has really changed how people think and what people feel is most important. We are worth more then just a number in someone’s company, just working to get them richer. The mural is a really nice idea, not seen that much at all in van builds. Cinema idea is really great. Your budgie has a great life. If I wasn’t allergic I’d probably have one. You have a great place of the countryside to be in. Great tattoos he has btw! Hope things are going well for him!
That's what we done 😂 sold everything, gave up work and have been living the dream for the last two years now 👍🏻. Good on you man 👍🏻 long may you live that dream sending love, peace and good energy ❤️🙏🏻
I absolutely love the style and uniqueness of this van. That mural is stunning and a lovely tribute to your nan. I also love your collectibles-keeping a few things that really speak to you. Your bird is adorable and seems very happy. Thanks for sharing your home with us.
1:37 people paying off that mortgage for 25 years or whatever.... more like 50 years, my friend. I salute you for peering behind the curtain (to use a Wizard of Oz metaphor). As a gen X-er, who's seeing the world going to $h¡t, my faith is invested in people like this. 😊
Each to their own n all that but for many of us on a similar path I feel recognising that the more contented you can be with less, the closer to a healthy state one surely is. Obviously, like everything in this myriad, its far more complex and murky for each and all in this general madness than just that. However, with less things and requirements, naturally comes more time and space within and out. And however illusory might that notion of time be, most can recognise the less you're having to do for another system or controlling entity that is only there to consume your energy, the more power you hold, the more freedom you have and the healthier you should feel. Bliss buddy, keep challenging, questioning and refusing to deny your own sensibilities and awareness to a better or truer way to experience this cultural disease 👊🏼
Danny sounds just like me, 2 minutes in and i'm agreeing with everything he said. Full time vanlifer here too, I can work for myself doing a job i love because life is so cheap in a van. I think a lot of mental health issues may stem from being stuck in 1 house. Think about it, we're hunter gatherers, we're not meant to be stuck in one place. Loves the vids Liveration!
Digital nomad. Not everyone can do work digitally remotely, and when you have kids they need a base. But fair play, its all good. Life in the open and outdoors is healthy
Wicked Video Guys and Well done Danny! I think the van is wicked!! It looks really homely and comfortable plus he has a companion!! 😀 I hope my journey into van life 🚐 goes as well as Danny’s 🤞🙏 ….. Smithy
Great to see Danny on here! My brother Ryan Evans went to school with him and I have converted a Fiat Ducato myself! Fancy a follow up video with another Van lifer from Brightlingsea? :)
Mate,,good for you,,may you have a prosperous easy vanlife..i hope the van dont let you down,,your attitude is bang on,and as for the budgie.its lovely the way he/she sounds like theyve bonded with you..also,,as for naming the van,,dont bother, its a stupid thing to do,its a lump of metal at the end of the day,,enjoy life while you can,,nice one brother
I work in the city centre. I work 3 and four day weeks. While working I sleep close to work. Luckily for me there is a big park with two car parks either side. One is quiet and tucked out the way. This is my mane spot at the moment. In the four months I've been doing this I've not had any trouble or been moved on. There are toilets and bins in the park. I work for the city council and have keys for the toilets plus showers at work. Ive even got a spot by a flood relief right on the river. But lots of foot traffic there and little privacy. When I'm not working I sleep at the beach, only 30 min drive from the city. But haft to keep an eye out for traffic wardens there. Another option is apps for van life with reviews where is good to park. They show any green spaces by your post code. It's like I was meant to do this. I consider myself lucky. All the best to you what ever you decide
Something & somebody different here. Only a male could live like this - gadgets abound but very little sensible practical stuff, she says. No sink or running water, no loo, cooker of some kind ? But it suits this young man and good luck to him on his travels.
Check to see if he has registered his van with the DVLA to be a mobile home. If not, he might get banned if he's drunk in his van, parked up. Because it will still be classed as a motor vehicle, i.e. drunk in charge.
Since this video he has become so tame even talking words that he is never in the cage anymore, he fly's free roam in the van and 3 times a week at my partner's house free flight round the whole house which is 3 story's and comes back when called, very healthy and happy boy, lots of stimulation, toys, food and treats, he is very spoilt 💙
@@AA-be9rn I let Atlas have exercise a few times a week there and I stay a couple nights but only been together a month, I still sleep alot better in the van I struggle sleeping in beds and houses now not sure why, I think I've got so used to the smaller comfort being on the road and in the camper for so long
Not meaning to criticise, but there’s FAR too much clutter & brick-a-brack for my liking. Unnecessary material possessions and van-lifing definitely don’t go together…….and he’ll find that out fairly quickly if he seriously wants to be a 100% van-lifer on the road🚐👍🏻
9:22 A bird. The freest of all creatures on Earth. I know...let's put it in a tiny cage. That'll make it happy, I'm sure. Of all kinds of pet ownership, this is the most selfish kind, and inexcusable. Shame on you.

Credit to Danny responding to some of the comments with love, clearly a decent bloke. Enjoy your van life, looks good to me 👍

Good for you, I love your thinking it makes sense. All the best to you.❤

I like the artwork and the sniper window.
I love how he has built out his van and he has some good views on life, all the best to you!
I love how he had a mat on the floor outside the van for wiping your feet 😁
It's the little things haha!

Thanks Smithy! Look forward to hearing what you think 😎
That’s the life for me!
I want to do it sooooo much but I still worry about where to park every night 🙄

Can someones please tell me the name of them birds are called
They are Budgerigars, small parakeet .
Budgies are native Australian birds 🦜
⚔️💪🏴🇬🇧👌👍(stroke)
Lives a life as a free man yet keeps a bird, born to fly free, in a cage. Always makes me sad to see this
They were breed in captivity. Let a budgie free in the UK and it would be dead in no time 🙄

I can not understand why he needs to have a bird in the van. 😢
Whilst I wouldn't. The bird has a better life than most. He's home all day🤷🏽♀️
You would be better served doing something to damage the system.
