worrying times for Scottish Rugby......the Irish lads just look bigger, stronger and better drilled than their Scottish opponents - Irish Rugby academies showing us the way we should go if we're halfway serious about the game in Scotland.

Clearly the SRU are more interested in scouting foreign talent to play for our senior squad than developing youngsters. Getting beat is one thing, but by five tries and without scoring a point is embarrassing.
We've just had our golden generation and won nothing. It's worrying what will happen when the likes of Russell etc retire.

@@albertdong On the plus side for Scotland it was a big improvement on last years 82-7 annihilation but that wouldn’t be too hard. Scotland tackled fiercely here and predictably tired near the end. That is at least some building block in place and the players were really fighting for the jersey. They did offer zero threat in attack though. Looking at the last few years of U20s for Scottish rugby it’s been dismal and they will likely have to keep scouring for imports.

Usually you have to score to win a game,holding a team for 20 mins was a reflection on how poor Ireland were playing TBH.We were shocking in 1st 20 mins, we gradually got going and scored 6 tries that was decent in fairness.

You really have to feel sorry for these young Scottish lads. Infairness to them they put their bodies on the line but looked uncoached at times.
There's something very wrong in the Scottish set up, the Scottish lads are missing the basics, their wing was trying to keep a penalty in last night, that's school boy stuff.
What chance do they have when they know that some South African reject will get their shirt at senior level.
