I played rugby in Italy when I was 19, now I'm 70. I've followed Italy forever. I say that it's beautiful to cry with joy at 70, finally.
As an Englishman, it's great to see Italy improving. It really feels like the start of something this time, and not just a false dawn. The Six Nations is stronger for it 💪

Italy have always been my second team in the 6 nations after my own and well done boys. You always come out and fight like legends and you got the result. Even better 80% of that squad is Italian home grown and developed talent, unlike Scotland trying to buy their way to victory with less than half being home grown, historic victory and hopefully the start of something magical.
I'm happy too for Italy but let's avoid lies - Italy does not have 80% home-grown talent. All three try-scorers are non-Italians, as well as Negri, Vintcent, Page-Relo, Ioane, Capuozzo. That's 8 of the starting 15. If you want to look at the 23, it's 9 out of 23, which means 61% home-grown.
The U 20 squad shows there is a new talented generation with very good chances of winning more matches. But to be really competitive, Italy needs to have more than two professional teams (club or franchise). Look at how many players in this squad are playing in other countries, mostly in France. Same for Scotland , two clubs, and Wales has 4, many of their best players are attracted in england or France.
It's so great to see Italy winning, so much heart and massive commitment. well done.

Saturday started with a happy moment when the lady at the ticket office told us there ARE tickets for the game. Then it continued with this great victory for Italy. Forza Azzurri!

The technical advantage for Italy has been that they didn't expect Italians would have used kicks so frequently and thus they had only an extreme on the opposite side of the play! It happened almost for all the three Italians' scores!
I don´t approve that argentinians behave as if they owned the victory. Allways jumping onto the winners wagon! Brex learnt his rugby in Argentina, true, but the italians grabbed him in time. Good for him! Quesada can make us proud indeed. I hope he keeps up the good work, even if that means he woudn´t be returning to coach Los Pumas. The Italian team groups some 40 people. How can we argentinians claim ourselves the makers of this success?
The only Argentinian making some indirect claim of owning Italia's victory it's you my friend. However, it's a well known fact that Italy has achieved 4 victories and 48 defeats through the last years. So, the result against France and this solid victory can't forget to notice who's recently in charge of the team . And yes, he"s Argentinian

Irugby am glad if some Argentinians feel so close to Italy's victory. Many coaches and many nations contributed to this victory. we are enjoying all this influences from NZ, South Africa, England, France, Argentina etc. Italian team was never shy to look for inspiration abroad and for support from italian players of foreign extraction.
