After the Springbok's victory over the host nation France yesterday this channel became my favorite over night. I have binge watched all your videos and now I have more knowledge about Rugby I have to say I am a fan of rugby now not just the national team.
Awesome video. I found your channel and caught up on all your old videos a few weeks ago and wanted to tell you that you've helped me to understand the game a lot better and made watching the World Cup much more entertaining. I've watched the game on and off for a long time now, but while I understood the rules reasonably well, I didn't have much of a grasp of what each player was trying to do. In my head it was mostly just 'forwards', 'half-backs' and 'backs'. I was especially ignorant of what the forwards were doing, and had no idea about the intricacies of rucks, so that video was super helpful. So thanks for the videos, and I hope you've been enjoying the World Cup (especially the absolute bangers last weekend).
Hi Seb :) Very happy the channel is helping enjoy watching the game, that is is exactly why I started. Yes the the position and the personality types that tend to occupy them are one of those things that gives the game its texture. I am loving the world cup. I live in Aus so have been losing a lot of sleep watching rugby between the hours of 12am and 8am :)
Thanks for the videos. I suggest you to name some of the best players in the role you analize so people can search them and make themselves an idea of what they are capable of. For the flyhalf I suggest Dan Carter, Jonny Wilkinson and Jonathan Sexton.
Hi Lorenzo, agree there is some value in that, I am just mindful that I don't want my videos to become opinion pieces. I mean this is mostly my opinion but it is more around the mechanics of the game than "who is hot right now", in saying that I am slowly starting to mention more current top players in my videos for people to focus on, I am trying to figure out what the right balance is at this point.
Hey Dude; My father Played for Hampshire County (UK) asFly half, I want to attempt to follow his footstepts as apparently he was Brilliant and lost him 3 weeks ago his name was Alan Paul Capps. This is great advice!
Thanks coach, my colleague was a fly-half for his national team. I decided to start learning about Rugby a couple months ago when I started working with him and with the World Cup now on! Would you be able to do a vide on all the types of penalties in the game?
The rules are you stand at your team's try line when the opposition is taking their conversion kick. When the kicker beings his run up to kick the ball then you can pressure him by charging. You have to be at the try line (the goal line) when the kick is being taken and you can only charge when the player has begun his run up not before. With some luck, you'll be able to block the conversion but usually conversions are taken uncontested.
Great channel! Really learned a lot from you ever since I started playing. Just asking if you could do a video on Mauls cause my knowledge on them is a bit hazy. Cheers!👍
Thanks for making this content! I’ve found it really helpful. Will you be posting a video about positions 12 & 13 soon as I’m looking to learn and take on one of these centre positions
Hi Mathew, I already have half the 12 script in my head. 12 and 13 will be my next positional videos, I will do them in a similar bundle I did the 9 and 10. First I want to do a video on the scrum though, as it is my perception that that the world cup has been attracting a lot of new viewers who do not understand them.
Please post a tutorial on Conversion Charging…I’d like to know why more teams don’t do it…it obviously worked out well in the SA vs France match today…Thank you
Excellent videos. thank you, for this playlist. The sound on your voice in the second half of the video is not quite as good, I don't know if you are using a different mic, or different mix.
Hi coach i had a question Is rugby more tactical than american football? Because what i heard that rugby is not a high tactical sport as american football and it all depands on Physicality and strength Keep going❤

hi, could you please make a video that explains how a conversion kick can be charged by the opposing team? thanks!

exactly, I also want to know
Brilliant videos man, I'll be recommending your channel to anyone looking to learn the game🦾
Nice one man .. I’ve truly enjoyed your videos.. many thx again
Great video
Thanks!
Thanks for the video
great video, great channel
I have always thought of the fly half as the coach manifesting onto the field
Hi Ryan. Can totally see why you think that. The most successful teams have a Coach and Flyhalf that are on the same page.
Excellent videos. thank you, for this playlist.

Guess which player the Aussies left at home during RWC 23
make a video about fullback position
The Fly-Half is the teams psychic. The tactician.
Me (a flanker) watching this video as if id ever play 10 in my life
