It'd be amazing if the guys behind Mania could get enough influence to try to reach out and make some of this stuff canon. Like I could easily see some deal come out where if Gaijen meets some quality assurence standards then Sega could compensate them in exchange for putting it up as Mania DLC. There's some really great potential here for fans to benefit doing stuff for the canon franchise and for the franchise to benefit from the work of fans. It just needs to be handled respectfully enough, but it's a neat idea.

I prefer to think of the elevator skipping over CD. For the worst. Because it has TWO Zones in the game. Whitehead gave it the love it deserves though. I can live with that much.
T4silly Let me explain why. Sonic 1 - 1 Zone Sonic 2 - 2 Zones Sonic CD - 2 Zones Sonic 3 (& Knuckles) - 3 Zones Sonic Mania - 4 Zones Sonic CD was originally gonna be Sonic 2 before the actual Sonic 2 came out, so it’s a neat touch.
No to get THAT mod, you have to open Mania on our computer with the Eggman mod installed, plug your computer into a television (note your computer MUST have two HDMI inputs for this to work properly) Find a copy of Sonic Genesis Collection for PS3 (Can't substitute the 360 version and cannot use a PS4 I tried, my room just became a dark lifeless void), put it into the CD drive of a Genesis with the added CD drive, then take a Gameboy Advance SP (A regular gameboy advance won't fit and good luck finding a mini) with Sonic Genesis in the slot and cram that into the cartridge slot of the Genesis (There will be a few crunching sounds and it will resist, just make sure you're grounded and wearing protective glowes and you'll be fine. The fire just means its working) and plug it into an HDMI converter and into one of your computer's HDMI ports, then you have to take a second genesis (with the 32X AND CD drive) and plug it into an HDMI converter and into your computer's OTHER HDMI Input port, and in its cartridge port you need to put 5 copies of Sonic 3 stacked one on top of the other and top it with Sonic & Knuckles and in the CD drive goes Sonic CD, but make sure you put the CD upside down otherwise you'll just summon the dark lord Seh'gah into being. So once you have all of that together, toss your computer and the whole setup into a walkin freezer (This tends to create a lot of heat, you'll thank me. Plus that fire from shoving the SP into the Genesis won't put itself out). Turn on your computer, open Sonic Mania and there you go: You have now unlocked Missingno as a playable character. Oh you wanted Breakdancing Eggman?... Yeah sorry no way to do that. Also adding Missingno to your game deletes all your saves across all games on all the consoles/PC you plugged together plus anything else attached to your TV (Except the Genesis with the SP shoved into it. That just won't work anymore because you shoved an SP into the cartridge slot).
Oh shit I just realized I told you to stack 5 copies of Sonic 3 and top it with Sonic & Knuckles. You HAVE to do the opposite! Otherwise... Well I guess you can't really read this message if you're in Dark Aether so... I guess that sorted itself out.

Hey, great video. The Hatsune Miku one was great, all of the mashups are on SoundCloud. Also, the Mario mods are always disappointing, the animations are used from M&L and those sprites didn’t age well and the other one just doesn’t look good.
