    In this video, Gabby shows you how easy it is to cook perfect chips in the Airfryer by Philips. Simply insert the frozen potato sledges into the machine and 14 minutes later you've got excellent fries. Crispy on the outside and succulent in the middle!

    I have just tried my first batch of chips cooked by the Philips Airfryer HD9240. I'm impressed with the result, given the short time required vs using the oven or the effort with deep frying.

      Glad they came out well StealthTeam123. It's certainly a quicker, healthier, and cleaner way to enjoy chips...

    They look good. Frozen chips are pre-coated with oil though.

      seygra20 They certainly are, which is why you don't have to add extra oil when cooking frozen chips. If you are making your own chips from potatoes, then you will need to add a tablespoon of oil to help then crisp-up a bit. Either way, it is much healthier the deep frying them...

      Cooked in oil for approx 2-3 min after blanched, not coated.

    I love how it's "should be "

      Everyone loves their chips a different way kingdog478. Gabby's personal opinion is they "should be" "Crunchy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside". You can adjust the timings to suit your taste. What is for sure though, is the results are a lot healthier than deep frying, as you do not need to add extra oil to cook the chips.

    Are these frozen chips for a fryer or frozen 'oven' chips?

    • @appliancesonlineAU
      @appliancesonlineAU  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi dubster82. These are regular frozen oven chips. You do not need to add any oil to these to ensure they come out crispy! If you make your own fresh potato chips, you will need to add a small amount of oil to generate the crunchiness...
