Thank you for this information. I found this video at the right time, just before black Friday sale.

Thank you for this! You've been so helpful. I agree, i prefer the one without the smartsense stuff. Thanks again, cheers!

I have had that model for many months now and I love it. Do I use the smart function? No, I do not, I run it manually :-)

Is there a filter in this I have had mine for 6 month and I clean it all the time and it still smokes? I have got the one without the smart sense and it is great, the best one I have had part from the smoke.

Having bought this specific model, I would agree that selecting the model without the "smart sense" stuff is likely more value to the purchase.

I found the basket height to be small because of the spiral in the bottom, I struggle to fit a whole chicken in

Good to know - buy the one without the smart sensor.

    Hi,
Thanks a lot for the explanation.
I am quite lost because there are so many Philips xxl…
    I am hesitating within the:
    - XXL 5000 HD 928 93. 16 in one
    - XXL 7000 HD 9650 90. 13 in one
    - XXL 7000 9865 90. 16 in one, which seems to be lige the one you talked about, although the references doesn’t seem to be the same.
    Can you pleaaaaase help?
    Many thanks

The only thing abouts philips air fryer is difficult to cleaning the coil, do you agree with me sir

      Isn't it self cleaning?
If not, maybe use a bottle brush and by feel.

Not insanely, I had an OEM air Fryer that was stupidly loud, this is still bearable

I can buy 4 or 5 cheap XXL 5.5L airfryers for the price of a single Philips. It's crazy how overpriced Philips really is. It's just a heating element and fan. Not much to it.

Not true. I’ve had a Phillips for almost 10 years. Decided to “upgrade”. Got a xxl ninja. What a piece of crap compared to the Phillips. I’m returning it, and splurging on a Phillips. You get what you pay for.

5.5l is not xxl. The Philips premium xxl is 7.3l

I believe in the cheaper versions the Teflon starts to peel after a while and that it not good for health purposes. Disclaimer, this is what I've heard.

    Great review! ✅
As someone that cooks a lot, I assumed the SmartSensor would have that issue.
Can you pls review the Ninja af400 or af300?
