Yes it's good that he takes his boys fishing. He was very friendly as most anglers are. Soon as river settles down a little the sturgeon will start bitting and hopefully they hook into something big!
I believe it is high and running fast. It usually clears up pretty fast. I would look up there in next couple weeks as the hatchery has been releasing smolts.
Hey Alan, glad you're back on it! Been fishing Berryessa weekly this past month. FYI: Almost zero surface activity and haven't any bait to excited about. Not many trollers out there. Bass fishing has been good. I agree that the lake is kinda goofy.

Yes I like talking to families who love to fish as it's good for the kids. My boat is easy to spot so when you see me come by and say hello. Denise autograph is worthless! lol
DFW haven't said yet and I don't think there will be any season this year. I heard they are looking at opening it in certain areas but I think it will be to hard to enforce. But will have to wait and see.

They seem to find the cleaner water like in the port sacramento and on the San Joaquin river side of the delta. I'll be looking over in the San Joaquin river this coming week should be semi clear.

We would ski seadoo wakeboarding N kneeboarding so I know the taste of the delta Well and that’s what they taste like. Got a ticket one time on a seadoo and got away with it kinda. Sheriff Almost Killed Me Then Gave Me A Ticket. I’ll tell the rest of the story some other time. Everybody’s Do N It Sea Doo. Have you seen the one set up for fishing offshore???? 🦴Rrrrr.
