Tried getting a re-fit of irons I’ve had since 2011. Golftec Appleton Wisconsin won’t refit any previously owned clubs of any kind, only selling new stuff. They tried telling me once they are fit they won’t change. Anyone serious in the golf industry should understand that if I got irons fit at 21 yrs old and I’m 34 now, there’s a high probability something has changed. They cannot be taken seriously with equipment if that’s their approach
All their other stuff and tech is super informative and useful and I can imagine lessons would be rewarding

I am in Montreal Canada. I found Golftec here and bought 10 lessons last year. And then bought 5 maintenance lessons. The teaching has been top notch! I lowered my handicap the amount my pro said would happen if I took lessons with Golftec.

Unfortunately I don't get to play much golf but when visiting my in laws in Fort Lauderdale I always try to pop in to Golftec for a lesson. It's one thing to see your swing on video but to see real time changes that have a measurable figure instantly available I find quite astonishing.

Love where golf has been heading, it’s grain a lot of traction. For myself as a Canadian this type of golf experience, can really change my game to keep checked in during the cold season. Would love to add it to my build out in the garage. Thanks you for this and all the information presented here.
I am looking to get a Launch monitor and Skytrak is definitely on my list of possibles. But having seen this video and looking at all the possibilities of what you can do and what is likely to come in the future, this is becoming my favourite to get. The insights given through the video has proved invaluable in explaining the how you can use the launch monitor, golf and games and instruction all together. Great .

Amazing! I recently (6 months ish), started going to a simulator golf recreation hitting franchise. I love the numbers. I’ve been watching you for many years…even before you had the 2 piece quad with the HMT. Just always too expensive for me to justify, but always knew I would do better with the objective data if I had the means. Anyhooo, Cheers! Looking forward to this type of coaching down the line. Very cool. I’ve had a couple lessons with GolfTec a few years ago. Couldn’t afford to keep going at the time, but will likely go back. It looks even better now. Would love to score the launch monitor. Great job as usual Mark

Amazing video and as so eone returning to golf after an incredibly long period of time, the golf tech that is available nowadays is mind blowing. Seriously considering getting a launch monitor as getting to the range/course multiple tines a week is hard to do and hard on the wallet. Definitely need something like the skytrack to get my 10,000 hrs in! 😂

Looks really impressive, data is definetly key in improvement and if access to this becomes readily available and affordable then, we the golfers, can only benefit.
Went to GolfTec for a swing evaluation and must admit the tech is cool and the coach was helpful. My only complaint is that the overselling/packaging. You typically need to buy some sort of multi-lesson or multi-month package. They are totally entitled to implement their business the way they want, but I know it is off putting to me since I have my own launch monitor and would prefer to get a la carte lessons and come back after I’ve ingrained things on my own.
You have definitely blown my mind. Of course the bulk of the new tech is for coaches rather than us amateurs, the best coaches will get better and poor coaches will be completely lost. If this is already in the works what will consumer launch monitors do in 5 years time!

Had a skytrak for years. Upgraded to Bushnell Launch Pro. BLP is better for practice and numbers, Skytrak is better for fun by a million miles with TGC incorporation.

Would love to win the Skytrak+, started again after a 17 year break (although golfing from the age of 7 till 10 isn't really noteworthy I guess).
Currently 4 months in and playing around HCP 18 to 20. With the winter coming up, I'm about to do to some renovation on the garage and want to include a golf simulator in there as well!
Next to that, I haven't been able to find a place around the Netherlands where they offer such a sophisticated way of training...

Living in Canada I do have access to Golftek. Might be worth a little trip to see them. They can use the data to help me but truthfully it would be better if I did not know the numbers and just focus on the swing as the coachs instruct me.

The potential to help teach people a proper golf swing is really there but.....
I see even more potential for teaching people like me who came to golf a little later in life. I am not as flexible as I used to be and my body has had numerous injuries throughout the decades. From my feet to my neck I have issues so the modern shallow the club swing doesn't work for me. I physically can't do it. This technology could really help people like me find a golf swing that works and doesn't hurt. Motion capture for the masses has great possibilities.

Pretty impressive, the customisable range is a great idea but I assume there will be features you can change as opposed to create your own. If it has as much detail as GEARS, it must be quite a threat. But GEARS isn't an average pro type product whereas I assume that is where this is being aimed.

I’ve given up on 2 skillest coaches and went for in-person lessons
The skillest coaches didn’t identify I needed more foot flair, a pre shot routine, better head position, more shoulder tilt and new grip

I’ve been using GOLFTEC for about a year and have generally been very happy with it, for many of the reasons you outlined. But the one thing I’ve been unhappy with is the Skytrak system. They were using GC2’s when I started and the Skytrak monitors seem to suffer from a lot of missed shots and bizarre outputs, like I can see where the ball hit the screen and it shows the ball going a completely different direction. Not confidence inspiring. The software is great but the Skytrak needs some work. At least at the place I go, they’re using a GC Quad in the bay they use for fittings.

Certainly one for the future, however lessoning to the head of gears, he said unless you're measuring a marker that can be seen by at least 2 cameras at all times it just won't be accurate
I bet you were like a kid in a candy shop seeing that. Loving the Optimotion and the way its going. Next? Maybe the software could suggest drills to assist the golfer and his or her swing? A bit like the Hackmotion software. And the SkyTrak... dare I say it? Is it becoming better than Trackman? Especially with the ability to create custom ranges... Game changer!!

Like others on here I have a Skytrak+ and it's a great bit of kit. I do wish they could provide angle of attack to really round out the data, but maybe that will come one day.

Mark I’d love to know how SkyTrak works out their shot optimizer, especially with so many different lofts for the same iron. Be interested to know if they just base it off of a standard loft or if they are taking everything like launch,speeds, and spin to make the optimizer red, yellow, or green.
