Every other video at the TPI is 15 or 30 mins long Max. It has been crying out for long form full run through of the process so we can all see Dr Greg’s genius in full. Isn’t a better presenter to do it justice either. can’t wait.

There's a No Laying Up video with Greg & 3 of the ranging from low to kid-high hcp. Fascinating stuff. This is also excellent. That squat jump turn using left foot seems such a good drill.

Only 10 minutes in and just wanted to thank you for being vulnerable enough to share your assessment in front of the world - really eye opening and insightful - GREAT video! Hope it helps you with your future playing goals. Best of luck Iona! I've got to edit my comment and put a shoutout for Dr. Greg Rose as well - So great to see someone who loves what they do - his passion shows! I remember watching him on The Golf Channel over 20+ years ago - didn't give it the attention I should have, but now this hits home so much more as I get older.

Every time TPI makes a video on their own or with a collaborator, I watch it and leave impressed on the ability of the “body / swing whisperer” Dr Greg Rose can analyze what the root cause of how people swing. But unfortunately it’s typically 20-40 mins.
This was by far the best TPI video I ever watched - the process of assessment, the level of detail at every step, the breaking down of the cause / effects, mind blown. And again Dr Rose has the innate ability to make people comfortable after revealing the issues, and the support / guidance to resolve them.
In my comments on these TPI videos, I always say something like “ bucket list, need to go..”. Seeing the whole ed-to-end analysis and process reaffirms i need to make this happen.
Great long form video Iona. You’ve done something a lot of us golf geeks wanted to see or do for a long time. Love to see the progress you’ve made down the road.

Dr. Rose is a mentor and friend of mine. The best part about this long form style is you get to see his humility, patience, and his personality a bit more. Yes, he's brilliant, but in my opinion, it's watching him meet the golfer where they're at that's truly amazing. Thank you for sharing!

I don't think I've been as fascinated and absolutely hooked on a golf video ever, never mind one that is almost 2hrs long! Completely riveting from start to finish. And your ability to immediately translate the pointers into your swing was incredible. It was brilliant to see the sheer joy you were taking from the process and and how it was immediately affecting your game.
Absolutely brilliant video. And what a fantastic advertisement for TPI and Dr. Rose. It might be too late for me but I would be seriously interested in what it would do for a 60 year old.

Outstanding ... Iona, by allowing us to see the whole process (llong video) it really shows the commitment you have to improving your game, but also helping us to see how the improvement process goes. "Feel is not real" has definite meaning. I also like the personalised approach, check the body first (why are you doing it) to help explain the result in your swing. This approach makes for a stronger healthier body with swing improvements, a double win. This was an amazing marriage of technology and expertise. The data has to support the intuition", , or the intuition needs a rethink. Your enthusiasm for the possibilities for pain free golf with improvement is what many of us older golfers have but never seem to find. Congratulations. Once again, I really learned a lot about the mechanics of the swing and the importance of working on body health to improve physical ability.

Oh my gosh. This is so incredible. Thank you Iona for sharing this with us. Words cannot express the joy I feel from this experience in so many ways. It was like a validation of what I have been teaching without the advance technology and knowledge of Dr Rose. I am a big fan of Dr. Rose and TPI and have followed him for many tears. This was my observation as I was watching this video.
    1. The early Hip Extension- When I watched Dr. Rose demonstrate the early hip extension how when the hips extend out the right elbow was stuck behind the trail hip pushing the hips more forward causing the club shaft to go more vertical causing all that pressure on your right wrist.
    2. The distance from the ball and reaching out which was the real cause of the early hip extension
    3. The falling away on the follow thru. Just like Leona Maguire. So Awesome.
    4. The light bulb effect. The Ah-Ha moment when it all clicks and works together. When the switch in the body flips on is sooooooooo cool. The joy, the smiles of that moment is so incredible. When I see my students go thru that it is the greatest reward for the teacher. And Dr. Rose totally enjoyed that just as much as u did.
    5. The 11 injections in the hand. I was totally shocked as much as Dr. Rose was. It just showed to me how dedicated you were to achieve your goal in playing the best game ever. I don't know what that doctor was thinking!!!
Thank you again for such a powerful video.

Definitely the best golf video I've watched too! Force plates are a game changer and any Pro coach not using them needs to be asked why. I had a big problem getting my weight onto the lead side and seeing that through the force plates really brings it to life, I wasn't even aware of it. I didn't go to the same depths in terms of the kinematics but I'm heading straight to TPI as soon as I can! Operation Scratch is on!

After months of banging my head against the wall wanting to take my game to the next level, I finally went to see a highly regarded pro who used many of the techniques shown in this video. My teacher, similar to what happened here, really helped me understand the mechanics and the light bulb went on.

Not sure which I found more enthralling, the technical information or the pure joy you experienced going through the process. It was so fun seeing the wheels turning and then you finally got it. Eureka! I am looking forward to seeing you progress and achieve your goals. Job well done.

Iona, mate! Thank you so much for sharing this! I’ve been struggling with my game for a year. I’ve been evaluated by a TPI golf pro, she’s been wonderful. We discovered some range of mobility issues. I’ve been exercising and seeing a chiropractor, but I couldn’t visualize the correct swing, until I saw this post. I’m at the range now typing this 😂.
    Thank you so much!

That was brilliant, I use to be a golf coach but now retired. We use to call this off setting forces, ie imagine a bucket full of water on a rope and swinging it around your body like a hammer thrower, if your backside doesn't work backwards to offset the force it will throw you forwards to the ball .

Holy 💩 😮. I finished watching this over coffee this morning and wondered if this was my issue also. Same miss, same corrective swing, same issues with my miss. Too close to the ball? Nah, couldn’t be that simple for me. 🤦‍♂️
I just returned from the range ……. BRILLIANCE 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Iona, I owe you a debt of gratitude for producing this content. Your journey has helped me more then you will ever know!
    Namaste 🙏🏻

This was literally the best in depth video ever delving into everything biomechanics wise. Thank you for going and documenting the whole process. What a gamechanger for you and for us viewers! Greg Rose is the GOAT! 🔥🔥🔥

Thank you for putting a full length video at TPI out. I watch anything TPI related and this is the best video I have watched to date. So jealous you get to work with these guys! As others have said let’s see a 3 month update please including the progress on the stretches and strength work.

This video was incredible. I am stealing the stretches because my hamstrings are super tight. I love watching Greg work he explains it all so well.

Hey Iona I have similar problems touching my toes and have struggled early extending my entire career. Recently found that the pain I feel behind my knee when touching toes is less of my hamstring and more the sciatic nerve in that area. There are specific stretches that can be done to relax the nerve and leads to much more mobility. Hope it can help your swing journey as well!

Thanks so much to Dr Greg and Titleist for allowing the full video. I'm sure a lot of it is proprietary and developed over decades of instruction so for them to freely allow it to be shown in an uncut version is amazing. I just wish i could get the same anount of time with Dr Greg.

Thanks for sharing this! Although it might be pretty specific to your individual situation it also resonates with quite some issues I and probably others also have. Thanks for sharing! You do quite the best real golfing content for me! Keep on going on the road chasing red numbers and working on the most beautiful game (we’re all addicted to…) ❤

Wow! I thought 1 hour 50 was too long for a you tube golf video. So wrong! It flew by.
The simplicity of the answer/recommendation vs the complexity of the problem/challenge is mind blowing. All done with a sympathetic ear to ensure it doesn’t aggravate an exiting problem.
Possibly my favourite ever golf video (I’ve watched lots).
    Thank you.
I wonder if my toes might be in reach!!

What a great incite to the levels of coaching players are now able to enjoy.
Ion your content is truely wonderful and I think this vlog is perhaps your best yet.
You’re clearly an incredibly talented golfer. The way you changed your swing so rapidly, I was in ore. You demonstrated the same ability from you in the Dan Grieves Vlog.
You’re an inspiration and it would be awesome to see you compete at the highest level. I’m sure that everyone that watches your channel wishes you all the very best in achieving your goals. Good luck can’t wait to see your progress
