Thanks for Watching, this one was fun! Looking to Build a Golf Simulator? I am happy to help! Feel free to email me at: a98cr125@gmail.com and we can discuss your space size, budget, needs, and more to ensure you are getting the best Golf Simulator technology and maximizing the value!
Jay, really raising the bar on your content. Incredibly useful, as a long time Uneekor and Flightscope user, I can appreciate the professionalism of the Trackman team. Raising the bar for the entire sim industry, which will benefit us all. Love this type of content.
Thank you! 🙏 I knew many viewers would appreciate this type of content and plan to bring more as it hopefully becomes available! I agree on the professionalism, honestly the entire team was just a pleasure to spend time with. We even snuck in 9 holes on the sim before dinner, should have hit record, SMH!, it was awesome! :) Thanks for watching and stay tuned as I have plans for much more!
I shared the video with the rest of the Trackman Content team this morning. The work everyone has put into VG3 is insane! Can't wait to see more content!
Man, what an enlightening visit it was to HQ! I always knew the courses looked finely built when I played ones like Pebble where I have played before. Now seeing how much time they take on each building, tree, bunker, etc. It all makes sense! Thanks for sharing and I can't wait to do a full round video soon so stay tuned :)
Good to see Klaus and Fredrik in the video. Let’s add a side unit add-on for Trackman 4 to capture both side rear for better ball/club delivery information to overcome with various data capture limitations :) Thanks for the video Jay.
@@GolfSimulatorVideos I am intrigued by the IO, but I do have a concern with how they are licensing this. I don't need all the club data, advanced practice or analytics, but I would be very interested in access to more courses. Why don't they allow for the more expensive subscription to include all the courses on the basic home license? Is there any way to add other courses a la carte?
@@paulwebendorfer5627 So they have added courses (50+ now) to the Home Package and adding more as time goes on. I will share the feedback about an add on for courses only. I agree that many people are fine without club data an get plenty of feedback from ball data and the replay video if they need it. Honestly I know a lot of users with video, club data, and more yet no idea how to implement anything to their swing. There is a reason every PGA tour player has a swing coach haha :) Thanks for watching!
Nice business trip! Didn’t realize all the work and manpower that goes into making these amazing features and courses a reality. I imagine with AI it will just get better and better over time.
It really was an incredible experience and the amount of employees and work that is being done on the daily basis is definitely extremely impressive. I always knew the courses stood out with the attention to detail, but hearing directly from the designer is how they take images and video to Custom create every object is incredible for sure. Thanks for watching and I’m really glad you enjoyed the video!
I am a new user to Trackman TPS and am looking for an introductory video on how to use in detail all the basic features step by step.. Do you have any suggestions.
Have you seen my latest TPS 10 video? I show quite a bit and you can go back to look at my shot analysis videos as nothing has changed there. th-cam.com/video/GsSm3YenfQ8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=qK0kQzBltTS8M96K
Great video. I noticed that the TM people showed you Pebble Beach as one of the new courses updated with the 4K enhanced graphics. I have my own TM sim but I don't currently have the Pebble Beach courses. Do you know if the 4 Pebble Beach "add on" courses are all currently updated with the new graphics technology?
Looks super nice but come on Jay, “All you need is a 4080, you don’t even need a 4090”. I mean, 4080 is the second most powerful (and expensive) thing you can have! It’s like 😂 nutty comment
In the 4k world, not really if you are doing off board processing and duplicating a screen and projector it’s becoming the standard to have 4080 or above to and most want headroom to grow. The 4080 super is a great card as well. Many don’t go 4090 but it’s surprising how many I help that do. Things will only get more demanding I’m sure, so minimum specs are exactly what they are, minimum. I hope that makes sense. Keep in mind this software will still look great in 1080 and many will be doing that.
Jay, outstanding content as usual and very well organized with lots of detail. This was very interesting to see along with the new Trackman offices as I am also a longtime Trackman user. The expertise developed within their hardware capabilities along with an expanding software and graphics team has been quite impressive. Now, since you are a golf sim “nerd” like the rest of us, I am certain that you must have looked up in their own sim studios to see which projector they were using. I’d be interested to know which projector they selected and installed in their new offices to begin to showcase the capabilities of the new TPS10 VG3 software. Safe travels on your return.
Thank you! It was truly a great experience all around. Funny you say that about the projector, it was of course one of the first things I looked at in the sim and it was cool how they actually had one setup in 1080p and the other 4k. So, they actually are "testing" a new model and I was told not to share those details yet, but will be sure to let you know as soon as I can! 4k has more and more options showing up in the projector space for sure, I just remind users it takes a lot of PC to run 4k at it's best and if budget or PC is a factor, I always would recommend considering 1080P at a high lumen if needed vs sacrificing something at 4k. Stay tuned for a full VG3 review hopefully very soon! :)
Are you mainly an outdoor user? If indoor, iO is great. But as far as TM4 goes, I have had several years to experience the improvements, they even just added more data point to TM4 this week. I think they just knew there was a lot of capabilities to unlock with that hardware before releasing new. BUT, You can listen to the interview, he basically said 5 is coming without a direct confirmation or date so can’t be super long I guess if you are willing to wait. They do generally offer decent trade programs if you did want to get tm4 for now. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching!
@@jamestheproexpat TM4 shines outdoors plus they just added Low Point Height, Low Point Side, Swing Radius, and D Plan Tile data points. I think TM4 users would tell you it has just gotten better and better the past few years, I’ve experienced that with mine. 5 is coming no doubt but I don’t think very soon based on these 4 updates.
So I did wonder the same thing. Fredrick is saying under 100rpm at least at this point (They are still working hard based on my observations to make it even better). Keep in mind TM4 can't do the 10-15rpm indoors at least I know as far as for full spin / spin axis, he is referring to outdoor tracking which does full flight and can precisely measure the spin. TM4 indoors uses the metal dot or RCT ball to help measure the backspin, then does an algorithm including impact and club data to calculate spin axis even utilizing the camera. That is why TM4 needs the proper space and lighting to perform at it's best indoors. I hope that all makes sense. Happy to go into more depth via email anytime, but I know under 100rpm has to be plenty for basically anyone. I can't even imagine a Pro for fitting would need anything more accurate. Side note, I was very surprised to hear and see how much data the radar picks up and gets them full depth information, I am sure this is a vital part to them getting so much club data already (maybe more to come) with no club stickers etc.
My iO with Virtual Golf is nearly instantaneous. Check out some of my other videos. Keep in mind this was a beta so I’m sure that was part of it. I’ll do my own full VG3 review asap to compare! Stay tuned and thanks for watching!
@@GolfSimulatorVideos I know well your channel 😉👍🏻 io is way faster than trackman 4 when you hit the ball ( personal test, I don’t know if you saw that too) but what I mean is for example when you were on the green in lofoten, the roll of both putting line where not smooth at all. I hope that it’s because of the beta ! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
@@maximeblanc8706 Oh, nice! :) So, I thought putting looked pretty solid in person, since this was such a long day and so much content I had to have someone film for me, I wish I could have had more control of the video myself as it did not showcase as good as things really looked in person. Like you said though and I eluded to, it's beta, they want any and all feedback and plan to refine even after full launch. Looking forward to showing more very soon!
Trackman's days of being the clear top dog are numbered. Eventually every launch monitor manufacturer will have the ability to read extremely accurate ball and club numbers.
I don’t think it always comes down to who has the most accurate numbers. I’m watching all kinds of changes in the industry. Lots of players just wanting fun entry level options but also many higher end shooters being very specific to what software they prefer whether it be graphics, ease of use, commercial options, etc. I think there continues to be plenty of room to grow in the market as I’m seeing more sims being added to businesses and homes every day. Excited to see what’s next for hardware and software all around. Thanks for watching!
I have played both, very different for sure. I will be sure to do a full 9 hole round asap upon full release so stay tuned. Hopefully that helps you compare. They are both very unique in my opinion.
