We didn't catch the Flightscope booth to record a video, but they also have some great options to check out in the more middle price range. See our favorite products at the show in this video: th-cam.com/video/pFa80HONa7M/w-d-xo.html
We were talking at the show about how we think competition in the space is really ramping up and going to drive the price down and quality up over the next few years. It’s crazy how many new companies are entering the market!
The subscription after the purchase is criminal. Especially at 1000’s of dollars. There are good affordable ones out there though. I got a used SKYTRAK on marketplace and I Love it.
FlightScope Mevo+ Limited Addition improvements for 2024. Shot Tracer in FS Multi-Cam mode...promised for wired cameras also. EO or environmental optinizer and Travel Planner. You can change your existing shots by adjusting the environmental controls thru optimizer. Handy for weather/ wind planning. Travel Planning works close to the same way. Lets say you are going to Colorado. You can view adjusted distances for your clubs based on location, elevation, weather...Badger AI is coming... your coaching assistant... swing assessment or swing comparisons for example. Some of these new features will be available for all Flightscope Mevo+ users and others require that you have the Pro Package. Note: The 2024 unit has Pro Package and Impact Location included. Those were add-ins previously.
Did you see much in the way of outdoor golf simulator setup? A netted ceiling perhaps or awning for flyers that want to go above the hitting net, would be handy. Or a better way to mount, protect your projector?
Awesome video thks for sharing,i was looking for some infos on the new golfjoy wager small launch monitor that should be out this year but i guess it wasnt there…hope u had fun👍👍
If you include price of Launch Monitor you are going to spend a Minimum of $1,000 with you factor in NET, Matt, Launch Monitor, And that doesn't even include PC or Tablet to run it.
I don't even think you can get a setup for anywhere near a minimum of 1000. Even with the cheap one like the Garmin. I use the Garmin and have a setup in my garage. With the hitting mat, projector, net, screen and computer with a yearly GS pro subscription I'm at about 3500. That's Canadian tho.
@@mkoz1134I built my mat and net from left overs. Can use an old bed sheet and get artificial grass that’s very nice at Lowe’s for a fraction. You can get a decent rig for at a thousand if you’re frugal.
I have played GOLFZON about 5 times. Every time I played it, it was spot on all the way down the putting. Their short game, putting as well as multiple hitting surfaces with moving floor, make their game play the most realistic of any golf sim I've played. I've played them all...
That is what the indoor simulator near me has (2 vision system) - spin rates and club head speed are produced by a random number generator but if you use the ball you use on course the carry distances at least with irons and wedges are within a couple of yards of what I would expect on course, run out is completely absurd. Biggest problems with Golfzon are (a) what is does not track. So no angle of attack data, club path data exists but not presented well (b) driver data is close to useless even fairway woods are not great (c) short game section could be a lot better
I was in Korea when golfzon first came out. The place I went to play had 8 rooms, 2 of them full swing golf, the rest golfzon. I would wait an hour to rent a full swing room as golfzon was so bad

Great video! Thanks!
Could you imagine when they make these affordable. Also charging for a subscription is ridiculous after spending 10 gs on a sim

@@TheGolfSensei Definitely will be keeping an eye out. Would be great to have one especially to play with the guys when the weather is bad.

Sorry, I'm pay tens of thousands, i don't need a subscription service. What a gyp.
Play GOLFZON here in town. The hitting area is cool graphics and accuracy suck
By far the new Trackman graphics look the best to us in person (the update coming in March)
