I seen someone tried to give Playstation credit for GTA existing. But if he would have done some research, he would realize the first GTA released on PC November 1997 and later released on Playstation December 1997.

Financially it makes sense to NOT release it on PC and console at the same time. Get everyone to purchase a console version then double dip releasing the PC version a year or 2 later. Ez money honestly.

It's really strange to me that people are using the Series S as some kind of insult to Xbox gamers. When that game comes out, it's going to attract almost every casual gamer that just grew old and got a family, instead of upgrading their consoles. At that point, they're going to want to play it as well, and that Series S console will be the cheapest route for every none serious gamer ON THE PLANET........ to be able to play it. There will be a very sudden flood of console sales on that day, most will go for the cheapest... Not all I bet, but most of them WILL buy the cheap console. The release of that game will break records for Xbox, not condemn it.

Demon souls already works perfectly on RPCS3, they even reverse engineered the online functions. And who knows, there have been some major developments in PS4 emulation recently, We might have Bloodborne playable within 3 or so years

All console versions of GTA 6 are going to struggle hitting and maintaining 30 frames. If the graphics and the scale of the open world are as big as they're saying it is. We haven't even seen a tiny bit of gameplay which tells us there is a lot of work and optimisation still to do.
This is something the hype fiends will never look at BEFOREHAND. Not sure if you have a PC but it's clear to me this will run bad on consoles. 30 at best, with dynamic resolution, upscaled to 4k. Console CPU's just aren't powerful enough to produce this game at 4K60 by default. And the kick to the knees for PC owners is another reason i have big question marks around this game

What do you mean? They did the same thing with GTA5. First trailer was in 2011 and it was over a year before the game landed. Strategy worked like clockwork
They've always favored consoles as shown with their treatment of RDR2 and GTA 5. GTA5 even has a few visual features PC players don't get access to because rockstar doesn't care for PC

Saying PS has marketing is laughable. Some Pony on Reddit claimed SIE and Take Two entered into an exclusive marketing partnership in 2020 for the whole generation, yet I found ZERO evidence of a partnership existing. Nor have I found anything about marketing rights for GTA6.

I doubt Rockstar would release a 60fps mode solely. It is most likely going to be a 30fps fidelity mode and maybe a 60fps performance mode. Pretty much every single console release on the 9th gen consoles has 2 or more performance modes because it seems like it's the standard. It looks like a way to appease both those who want better performance and those who prefer prettier visuals

I have a PS5 for one reason only, sony's commitment to supporting physical media. Nintendo is just as good tbh, but that toaster isn't running most of what I want to play. The saying I think that guy was talking about on the time exclusive a year after was the fact that when GTA v did come out on the 360 and PS3 it was only on those two consoles the PC version I think came a year later and it was because Rockstar was worried about hacking in the game because the game was very weak to it you can even like glitch a bunch of money and stuff and Rockstar punished him later with the little hats and stuff that says I cheated or something and basically he's insane that you know they're probably going to release it a year later for Xbox too which is dumb

This could honestly end poorly if we end up in another One X vs Pro situation where the XBox GPU overhead is actually utilized, along with RDNA2 features not found on PS5, and we end up with a noticably superior version on XBox again. Unless Sony releases a Pro and XBox does not (which would be devestating in this scenario for XBox) this is a likely outcome as Rockstar doesn’t do parity in their games. They will bump that shit up to utilize more overhead if it’s there. And this is is a salt bomb just waiting to blow at launch.

I love seeing how Playstation fanboys make fun of the Series S for having worst visuals or performance (sometimes it's better performance, like with Immortals Of Aveum, but we don't talk about that), but when a PC elitist does the same thing to them, then they don't care about better performance. The standard for them is what ever the PS5 can deliver, which is really funny, because 30 fps is "okay" (again, acording to them) for a hack and slash title like Final Fantasy XVI, because performance mode looks and runs like sh*t, so no one wants those 60 fps, but when an Xbox game runs at 30 fps that's funny.

I played GTA 3 a lot but never finished, Vice City played half way through but all the games after that I bought but hardly played more than a few hours, I’m not buying GTA 6.

Also people mock for the series s is because the parody cause between s and x where if they dont work on they wont put it on the x. It took baldurs gate 3 so long to hit xbox x because of the old series s. This means if rockstar does as Microsoft says that means gta 6 wont come out on any platform any time soon because of the series s.

If Rockstar really want to gatekeep GTA6 for the BEST PERFORMANCE they should make it exclusive to high end PCs. I mean, the whole thing about consoles was that they were the best cost/benefit due to the high cost of gaming PCs. These people hate anyone that can't or won't spend thousands of dollars in their preferred hardware? And frankly, unless you really care about some exclusives, in the long run a standard gaming PC will be cheaper due to how games on PC simply cost less. The saving grace of consoles was the secondary market, and it was mostly killed already, with Sony leading the charge with their digital only PS5.

That's the part so many are blind to 😆 The hype has already got them looking past the capabilities of their chosen console. Fancy trailers made on PC's still fools so many people. I'm going to take a big guess here but watch how so little of gameplay stuff will be revealed, little snippets. Rockstar aren't that confident because a lot of their stuff is gimmicky. You can have the audience not even think about framerate or resolution when you push out a fancy trailer, and if they do. They automatically think it will o n par or better than they will finally get on release 😆
