I can relate when I was visiting my wife in the Philippines and were at the park 2 kids came up to us asking us for peso after I said not too but my wife still gave the peso. About 20 minutes late the kids came back with milkshakes and few friends asking for more peso.

I can’t count how many times, “I’m so poor, you’re sooo rich, good sir, please give me some more money…” 2 peso. In Pampanga I did the yard work routine for the men housework for the women. Each time it earned me multiple barangay mediations. After that with the female she took me to DOLE. It’s just my experience hope it helps someone

Awesome. “#1 Chiang Mai”. Well. Smoke. I’ve been knocking around Southeast Asia for 3 years now. Not very long to be sure. So far… the best place in my opinion is chiang mai. Depends what you want. You want bars and crowds and Indian food? Yeah. Don’t go there. You want to walk 2km from your condo to waterfalls, mountain temples and get away from the crowds? That’d be the place.
Fatima's cousin looks like her but litter and darker skinned and she's very beautiful I think it runs in the family
A week after Christmas I started telling the kids no. They still stop by daily trying to sing while I'm out there sweeping the sidewalk in front of my house. As soon as I say no trabaho no peso and hand them a broom they run off. Tried to hire a 20ish boy to move dirt and burn trash on the lot next door, and he turned it down. 400 peso 6 hours work, very high pay for my area and he refused. Some just want the handout, a few want to work.
Maybe I don't save face, but the villagers know I'll give them work. Got 2 single ladies working down stairs right now, one in cleaning the first floor, one is washing a weeks worth of clothes 200peso each and they pop by twice a week.
